I recently changed my pharmacy to Rite Aid and i went there to pick up my pills. They told me to wait 15 mins so I waited and after 15 mins when I went there to pickup again they were giving me a different brand because they did not have the one I was prescribed for. They said its the same generic one but different brand. There is a reason that my Dr. prescribed me this brand so why would I take a different brand. My old pharmacy always let me know that they don't have the pills I was prescribed for and now this pharmacy without letting me know they were giving me different one. I asked if they can order the one I was prescribed for. They said they ordered it will be here by today and i will get a text message. Did not get a text and called them many times but they did not pick up. I do not have any pills left.

The pharmacy service at this location is horrible. It only 5 blocks from my home, but I used the Cambria Heights location becuase service was much better. That location closed and I needed my prescription refilled. I used their automated system since I knew my precription number and thought that would easier than going into the store. I got message the prescription was not found, but they would contact my doctor and follow up with me the next day. When I didn't here from anyone, I called and was reminded how horrible the service can be at this pharmacy. Precriptions are never ready as promised and they NEVER answer the phone. I ended up calling my doctor to have a new prescription sent to Walgreens. Don't trust any part of your healthcare to this business.

I called to request for a prescription transfer from CVS to Rite Aid. The lady Simone was very impatient and unprofessional to me only becauseshe asked me for the CVS phone number which I didn't have right away and gave her the address in order to facilitate her find the phone number on her end. When I asked for a supervisor, she claimed that she's the supervisor with a nasty attitude.She even hung up on me.

I have been dealing with this pharmacy for years but it appears during the last 12-18months there has been a Decline in Service ! You can never reach anyone over the phone, even after they text you informing you that you need to call them! You're forced to make unnecessary trips because once you go in the issue/concern is not addressed during that time so you will call, call, call and call again before heading back down there for them to say we're still working on it we need another 15-20mins. This pharmacy is a Joke at this point, new management is needed or you all need to revise your work schedule and the responsibilities to ensure that someone answers the phone at all times. If you do not want to answer, then allow people to leave voicemail messages.

Dealing with THIS pharmacy requires A LOT of patience and only worth at least 5 negative stars. Average 20 to 30 minutes wait at the drive thru any time of the day. Unable to reach ANYONE on the phone. Such poor overall customer service I HIGHLY recommend transferring to a different pharmacy.

Every time I have been coming to pick up medicine very long wait times both in store and drive thru. Medicine is great but service not so much. Should hire more pharmacists to assist customers. I don’t blame the current pharmacists usually understaffed.

I called to inquire about my refill. Simone ( Pharmacist) was so rude saying she doesn’t even know if my insurance will cover early refill when it’s never been an issue with my covg. All she needs to tell me is still too early to get a refill? CVS has much better service! She was rude & condescending!

This is the worst Pharmacy in Queens Village. The staff in the pharmacy never picks up the phone. The Pharmacist is never available. You can not reach anyone by telephone here. The staff are very rude and does not care. Management needs to remove the manager and staff at this location and have them retrain. I hope cooperate does an investigation or this store will close down soon.

Oh my God, why doesn't anyone ever answer the phone for the pharmacy. No matter what time of the day or week you call, there isn't ever an answer.That's so frustrating when you need information for medical reasons or your prescription issues. Lately their medicine shelves are empty.Just gonna drive a few block to CVS to get what i want.On a good note- it is very clean and once you get there, the staff is helpful.But can someone please answer the phone!!It's for insulin and it makes no sense to have to drive there to then be told it's not covered or having another problem.

Worst pharmacy ever the phone line the pharmacist or customer service rep never answers it. The manger and staff does not even care for their customers, they are very rude at this location, the staff can be trained better. When I ask the pharmacist why they don’t answer the phone she was like they were very busy to talk to anyone. Mean while I been calling for the last 5 days at different times. I walked in and the were very rude as well. I will never go back here. I had to call the corporation office of Rite Aid to complain to get my medication filled. I hope they sees this message and fix this location customer service and management issues.

They find a way to consistently hire rude people. I have to believe it's a rite aid thing at this point.I'm sick of there being an acceptable low standard of service just because of where this store is located. My community deserves a respectful and positive shopping experience just as if it were in Floral Park.

Usual Rite Aid, only issue is there is always a line and there seems to ever only be one person at the check out.Edit:I bought a clipper and it was used with hair and discoloration. You would think with the security measures the products would be brand new. That's just disgusting and it's not something they would do in more affluent neighborhoods. Corporate really needs to get this place up to par, the service is just pitiful at this location. (Try Fresh Meadows for better service).

Lines are WAYYYYYYYY too long! Very unorganized store as well. But the lines are insane. No backup comes up front to assist when it's busy. Used to go right next door to Walgreens which was WAY better and efficiently ran, but it's since closed. Whoever is running this Rite Aid needs to be removed IMMEDIATELY. Service is atrocious

ZERO STARS! If you have time to waste and make funeral plans refill your meds here. They do not answer the phone. If they answer you will surely catch a dutty attitude. When you arrive to pick up your medication it won't be ready! Save yourself a heart attack and get your meds from CVS. Anywhere but here!q

Refused to give me what I needed because of my ID it’s offensive and wanted to forced me to take off my mask with this virus going on. I always came here and had a good experience never gave me trouble but today that guy made my shopping experience the worst. I work at a store as well and we would never offend a customer. They wanted to see pictures in my phone to see if it was really me accusing me of using a fake ID or a stolen ID. I rather make a long trip to a different ride aid because this one has terrible employees.

OMG, Rite aid of Queens Village is the worst pharmacy. They need additional pharmacist because it is not fair that I have to be withoutmy meds for several days because they only have one pharmacist doing Covid testing.They got to go away from here.Horrible....Horrible customer serviceI hate to say this, but they should be put out of business.

This store don't even deserve one star, got a text message that my kid medicine was ready to be pick up, got to the drive thru window and had to wait 30min after waiting so freaking long got home one of the medication was missing. This place is so unprofessional they wrote on the medication info sheet saying the medication not covered.I could have paid for the dam thing if they had just said something...omg never again....

I am a regular shopper at this particular pharmacy, upon going to the pharmacy numerous of time accompanied by my dog and after one time I met with this secrurity that told me that my dog is not allow because I can’t hold him in my hands however I went back with my dog to get some clarity and i was told that because he is not Chihuahua, he is not a small dog, he is micro bully he is not allowed in the store especially while customers are there and the associate when on explaining that he might not be properly groom. My dog is only 8 month,he weighs 49 pounds and he is very friendly and potty trained is not allow because of the breed he is. I’m so disappointed, thank you rite aid, you might as well put up a sign only small dogs allow.FYI: I normally go to the pharmacy around 11 pm or anytime after 12 PM or or 2am

This is all related to the pharmacy dept.1. The phones are never answered.2. There’s always a wait for a prescription , even if it was send hours ago.3. When confronted, the staff if very rude.I wouldn’t have to wait if the phones were answered. Just be ware if you need a prescription urgently , you will need to wait and wait and wait.

You're getting one star which should be zilch. You employees should know better and have some pride that you care about your job. If you really love your job,do the right thing and stop allowing customers tear up the items that they are not going to pay for. A word of a Walgreen summer employee at least when i worked at Walgreens I proved that I love my job, take pride,help out coworkers and customers. I also made sure NO customers shred an item and children and teens too. Learn the custom of you tear an item pay for that item. If you can't pay for the item don't tear up an item

Worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. No one ever answers the phone no matter the time of day. I've been calling for several days to refill my prescription and i can NEVER get a pharmacy technician to answer the phone. I'm about to switch back to Walgreens because this Rite Aide pharmacy SUCKS!!!

Unprofessional and rude CS in the pharmacy. I'm not sure if she was a pharmacist but she refused to give me my medications. She asked me to wait for someone else while she helped other customers because I was questioning the previous mistake made in my medication ( they gave me a lower dose of my cholesterol medication and basically told me to double up on the pills) I had to get another refill for the rest of the month and pay for it .
