I have been going to this supermarket for over 31 years. Used to be a dump. Under new management they really turned it around and do an excellent supermarket. I would like to give props to the delicatessen because they always give me good service and are fast and prompt. The owner is very friendly and the staff is Great professional. I like the fact that they offer a seniors in the discount I believe on Wednesdays and my mother can go there without any hesitation since there's the safe location and the security on premises. All in all it's home base. 4.5 out of 5 recommended.

If I could give them a million zero, I would do it . Today I went to this key food around 8.15am.( Friday )only because I saw the organic Pete and Jerry eggs on sale. At the check out it scanned the regular price $9.89 so I told the cashier it’s on sale $7. Then I went to the eggs section and came back with the price sticker to show the cashier. That’s when the cashier Called this other girl for help. (Chinese /Korean girl with bleached hair and attitude . I think this girl is one of the owners .)She immediately asked who removed the sign in a very arrogant, disrespectful and loud way . I said I did it . Then she is more angry and in an arrogant and disrespectful way told me “ why did you remove my sign “ . That’s when I told her , “don’t talk to me like that way”, after I said that , she left .I don’t want to give my hard earned money to any business that disrespect and disregard its customers so I told the cashier I don’t want any of the stuff and left the store. The managements are very nasty people . They don’t know how to talk to the customers.!I usually shop at stop and shop / Whole Foods for the fresh fruits and vegetables, and all other stuff . Only I came here to buy one Pete and Jerry eggs . I don’t recommend any one to shop this keyfood because, You could never find fresh items here, but you can always find a lot of mold and expired items. Their price is very high compare to the other store near any way. They have a strict No return /no refund policy.

1star because never have I been to any Key Food supermarket where they don’t give you a rain check if an item is out of stock. In addition, all items are final sale. Covid is over. Please change your store policy.

I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. This key food has people fallow you and harass you throughout the store. They pretend they are shopping, one of skinny guy who stands by produce gave my daughter a disturbing look. This key food used to be good, until the new owners took over and hired idiots who fallow you around. Take a camera and test it out.

I moved into this neighborhood few years ago yet rarely shopped at this place unless for last mintues products, simply because the prices on most items here are more expensive than other supermarkets within few miles. However with the club member card, you can still get certain items on sale with good prices from time to time. Yet after what I went through with the manager and the cashier today, I really don't know if I ever want to go back to this place even though I literally live a block away.This morning I tried to purchase 2 cartons of Organic Valley whole milk with sticker labeled it was Weekly Special from 10/20 to 10/26 for $5.99 and original price $6.99. Yet at checkout, the lady charged me $7.99 and I was explaining to her that the labeled said it should be $5.99 but no action was taken. Feeling frustrated I walked to the milk aisle and took the sticker and showed it to her which was when the supervisor standing nearby the whole time finally intervened. Unfortunately instead of trying to figure out their mistake, the first thing the manager lady did was trying to deflect the issue on me by accusing me of wrong doing for removing the sticker #####. The least thing they could have done is to own up to their mistake by apologizing for wrongly labeling their items or wrongly marking the prices, which btw is not the first time. From a business perspective, how can I a customer trust that other items in the store also being price marked correctly if this is the way they practice their business?But the whole point is, I would have paid that price for the convenience if the manager lady had handled the situation properly, simply by acknowledging that they made a mistake when labeling the item and apologizing for it, instead of making their customer feel like I was at wrong for doing something they should have done it themselves in the first place.Let's just avoid this store as much as possible.

Looked me in my eyes and Locked the door on me and my newborn 15 minutes before closing. This store is dirty over priced and they follow you around harassing you about the cart. Just save your money and go to stop and shop they are more affordable clean and friendly.

It's a great store. I love their Urban Meadow brand, specially the split top wheat bread. My grandbaby loves it that ice cream is always on sale.

Managers or supervisors seem to just want to go home and don't care if customers are at the door. They changed their closing time and posted a small sticker with new hours. Also they lock the door 15 minutes before actual closing time.

Haven't shopped here yet. Should you want to get your $0.05 (bottle deposit) bring ya plastic,cans and glass bottles here. The are to crush your recycled products is always clean neat and if you need assistance they don't make you wait!

This is the worst supermarket in America. I would give them minus stars if I could. No concern for customers. They don't let you take the shopping carts out side the store. You have to carry it to your car or leave it unattended while you go get your car. If you take a basket for your stuff they will snap it out of your hands at the cashier and harass you to buy bags. The so called manager would rather lose a $100 sale than help you.

This location has a parking lot so shopping gets easier for me. This location stays open till 10 pm, so I can make a run to the store for something at the last minute. They carry a variety of dry and frozen goods. They have active staff at the register. This location takes WIC customers. They have a good variety of baby food option.

The worst market in Queens. Period. They closed and locked their doors 30 mins before their actual closing time. Needed to pick up something quickly as I know they were closing soon but 30 mins with doors locked?? I’d give negative stars if I could.

This grocery store is ridiculously over priced! Just because it Is conveniently located doesn’t mean they should be charging people $2-$3 more some basic goods! I went to get some cereal & juice . The cereal is $6 and change! The juice is $4 versus if you go to stop & shop your paying at least two dollars less. The prices there are highway robbery & it’s sad. You also can’t find everything you need because it is a smaller store. But will definitely take the trip to save money and shop somewhere else. It’s definitely giving Whole Foods prices for mediocre inorganic items

Bought a pound of turkey slices, half a pound of chicken slices and a packet of cheese for sandwiches. Used the chicken slices first. When I opened the turkey slices less than 3 days later it smelled bad and had brown liquids on the paper. It had a weird slime on the meat. Took it back in and the Asian Manger would barely hear me out. He said if I brought it in the next day maybe but not 3 days later because he didn't know how I stored it. I said I brought the cheese back to show that it did not go bad so I stored both fine and he still said no all sales are final. All sales are final does not allow you to sell stale product and then hide behind that. Will be notifying friends and family not to shop there anymore...By the looks of the other reviews you are losing customers due to bad service regularly

Came here before closing time and they had the doors locked. The Asian cashier opened the doors to let someone out and still won’t let me in and had a nasty attitude. All I needed to grab was one box of cereal for my son. Never coming back to this place again.

Supposedly, this is a new store. The store is well lit and clean.They have a decent sized (for Queens) parking lot and handicap entry and parking. I didn't notice any of the motorized carts, but i wasn't looking for them either. They don't block the aisle with point of sale piles. The staff tries to be helpful and they are friendly. The store is large but the stock is limited. (Perhaps this is because I went after a nor'easter). I didn't notice any impediments for wheelchairs or walkers.The produce is just ok, but the sandwich steaks that I got were decent. They had Jello but didn't carry sugar free Jello. They had large loaves of white breads but not smaller loaves (but they could've sold those out earlier in the week), but it seems that most of what they carry is not sugar free and is family sized.Since this place is next to the dialysis center that hubby uses, I will be using it again, but only for small trips not the weekly shopping because of the stock limitations.

Clean and spacious. The only draw back, is they don't have bags for those persons using EBT payment method which forces the customer to pay for a bag which at times are hard on them. Do better Key Food!!!!

Like the store. Sales price are good: large selection and a lot of things they sell cant get elsewhere. Lines are not that long and deli dept is awesome. Polite help too a rare occasion today.

It's open at a convenient hour. They have certain items you don't find at some other supermarkets. My only problem is that some of the food is expired as if they don't pay attention to that. Some of the cashiers are courteous and the others just don't care.

Small yet well stocked. They have great weekly deals and their bakery section is pretty good. Only con is they don't list the price for some of their products and I don't like playing the guessing game.

I’ve lived in the area for 10 years and management has changed at this place over the last few years for the worst! To the point I no longer go here and would rather drive to Stop & Shop, a shame because I often went there because of the close proximity.My experience: They had an incorrect sign on some items which they advertised 2 for $5 with a limit of 4 on Kellogg’s brand cereal. I purchase 4 and the cashier began to charge me full price and as I point this out, she calls the manager. He comes over with his security (tall Dominican guy with curly hair) and they proceed to speak in Spanish (which I felt was also rude) indicating that the sign was incorrect. So I ask will they honor the sign and his response was “no”. At that point I vowed to not come back unless it’s a snow storm or some other urgent need. Other than that I will go to Stop & Shop. I’ve read other reviews about their rudeness at this location, and I must say that I agree.They also refused to allow usage of the bathroom once previously (something previous management allowed), but this last encounter was the icing on the cake where I vowed not to go back unless an emergency. I feel this management is suspect of the community for some reason, so I have to agree with other reviewers.
