I only buy certain items from this store, never packaged meat. I have a habit of always checking expiration dates anyway. I've only had pleasant encounters with the people that work there. I recently encountered one experience at the deli counter that I didn't like. The heavy set, tall young Spanish guy made my sandwich wearing one glove. I didn't realize it, until he put the sandwich up on the counter. The older Man wears two gloves. That was a turn off and I declined the sandwich. Then he picked up his phone and proceeded to text with the same glove. I guarantee you, he didn't change that one glove for the next person.

I buy meat that's no good to offend from this store. I'm over charged 😒 16 out of 20 times. The shelf would say one price and when its rang up different price. Sometimes I see it at the register but when I see it at home they give me a hard time omg you see me here at least a week and this is how you treat your loyal customers. I try not to shop here anymore but its hard when it is a store 3 blocks from your home.

I shop here every day. I rarely buy meat from here. I do buy every day items like breakfast food , lunch meat- which is always fresh and other quick items. The cashiers are very helpful and friendly (except for one, ughhh so rude) and management staff are also helpful. The store is always clean.

DO NOT SHOP AT COMPARE FOODS. They routinely and deliberately keep EXPIRED food on the shelves. Example: This Snapple that was bought Sept. 2021 and had EXPIRED 6 months ago in March 2021. Example 2: Bag of rice full of bugs. This is NOT a mistake. They DELIBERATELY keep old and outdated food on the shelves in THIS NEIGHBORHOOD. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY FOR THE SAKE OF CONVENIENCE. SHOP ELSEWHERE! Really it's ZERO stars.

This is my local grocery store. I go here at least every week. I have been told by staff that the store gets fresh produce delivered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. They also have a growing selection of vegan products like oat milk and tofu, although there is still lots of room for improvement. Staff is also bilingual, most of them speak English and Spanish.

Clean, inexpensive , Fresh Fruits and vegetables. They makes a very good outstanding hero. The best. No parking you have to wait until someone comes out . Don't Double park cause the ticket people be waiting.

you're overall typical supermarket prices but the meat section is pretty cheap thats why it's worth the trip.cleanliness- 8/10overall customer service 7/10No parking available.

It's clean. Food are very very fresh. I shop here all the time. Prices are high for a neighborhood like that, but the food they sale are fresh and good. Parking on the street is very hard to find, there's no parking lot at all. 😁👍👏

It's a good mini market. If you need something real quick this is a good local option. The food and produce they sell are a bit pricy. They do have a deli and you can order sandwichs. The sandwiches are good and you get a choice of a soda. So overall it is useful if you need to buy something locally.

Clean, neat and well stocked. Additional cashier was called in to address long line.This was really appreciated after working all day. Sale items were available. I will frequent this store.

This is the closest supermarket near my house but it is so gross! I’ve witnessed them pick fruit up off the floor and just put it right back on the shelf without washing it or anything. Be very careful and ALWAYS check expiration dates when purchasing because they often leave expired things out. They even cover the dates sometimes with sale stickers so be mindful of that. They also are dishonest about their meat packaging. My mom bought pork chops from here TWICE and both times found pork shoulder behind the pork chop! Absolutely ridiculous! Avoid this supermarket if you can.

They are clean and very friendly. I shop there all the time. They have great sales the meat there has to be ordered in the meat department where you will receive the best meat. Don't buy the package stuff.

For the most part, everything is fine. However, some times the produce is moldy, particularly the lettuce hearts and grated cheese. Kinda makes me skeptical about everything else.
