I love this place. Family owned friendly staff and they'll get stuff for you if you ask. Lots of variety of different foods. Check out the deli for awesome variety of cold cuts, cheeses and sandwiches. Great section of bread. And you'll be pleasantly surprised by the cost.

Compact supermarket has almost everything, even a little deli. Friendly staff. Glad it’s here- we are saving a lot of time and gas as the nearest other supermarket is twenty minutes drive each way.

This store is small, but it is packed with anything you need. Fresh produce, Deli, hot chickens, breakfast sandwiches...etcPrices are pretty high so shop wisely. Otherwise a Great store!

Quality, freshness, great customer service. I'm a resent transplant into Delaware County. Back in May of 2022, a friend highly recommended Jim's, and my my first impression from looking at the exterior was instantly blown away the moment I walked into the store. I only needed a few household incidentals, and I couldn't believe that almost an hour had passed and I was leaving with several shopping bags full of groceries. JIM'S has become my go-to store for a little over 10 months now, and I've made this family owned and operated establishment my first stop for all my food and household shopping needs. I've taken my family and friends to Jim's when they come to spend time visiting, and they can't believe how Jim's store is like going to Zabar's in New York City and though it doesn't have the square footage of one of the big box stores your mind is very content and you leave with the thought, I'm definitely going to make Jim's, my first stop for my shopping needs. I'm very pleased to recommend Jim's to everyone, go you'll be glad you did.

I used to come here more often. It's not close to my home and it used to have better prices. They're very friendly, the store is neat, and they have manager's specials. Plenty of parking.

Usually shop at a bigger store but must say there was most if not all of what I was looking for. It was clean, organized, and the staff friendly. Prices on par with other stores. If I was in this area again would not hesitate to return. Only 4 stars because of a smaller selection but they can’t help that due to it’s modest size. Also because they did not have a bag person at checkout.

I read some of the negative reviews, but don’t understand how people don’t see that a small grocery store pays so much more for the same products a large chain does!! I think it may be a little more but I don’t thinks it’s overpriced! I support small groceries and businesses, out of towner.

Absolutely love this store and except for Price Chopper would put it as my number one grocery shopping choice. The shelves are a little bit crowded as they fit a lot of groceries in a pretty small store but it's kept organized. Their prices are extremely Fair considering they are a small town grocery store. They have something for everyone and I really do enjoy it to shopping environment overall. If I was going to make a suggestion for a great place to stop for tourists and vacationers this would be one of the places. They have things like alligator jerky and citronella candles. The pre-made foods are excellent. They really serve the community well.

Cute local grocery and deli. Small but packed with tons of things. Good sandwich making deli in the back, beer cooler, and more. Only negative was the produce area isn't huge but I've always found what I've wanted. Employees are very nice and helpful.

This place is great!For smaller or larger supermarkets, I'm always amazed to find gluten free bread, cookies and crackers!!Very happy that they keep items I need in stock :)They also have lactose free milk which is so great!They have a really great deli with good choices, and make great personal sandwiches as well.Very comprehensive store with all of the necessary essentials and more!

Beware of the red head that works the register......poor girl must hate her life to treat and speak to customers the way that she does. The store itself has a great butcher department and deli. Prices are a touch high compared to elsewhere, but on a pinch they are there.

I can't say enough about this store and it's friendly family staff. Owner Jim Eisel will get you what you want. Great deli fresh produce local cheese,and artisan breads. It's Always clean. Very good service. I recommend this store. They are large supporters of the local communites. A great American store!

A very nice grocery store. The produce is always good, their selection is not too bad for the size, things are well priced and the people are very nice. They also carry a smattering of local and national newspapers which is nice. One of the best grocery store options in the area.

Wow. If you need to live in a small town or want to this type of market is a must. Outstanding selection in a small footprint. Kudos! I could live in prattville because of this market. And for those wondering about essentials.. great beer selection! I wish I could give 6 stars!

The place has an good selection of food and household items, staff are hospitable for people getting paid minimum wage, but the prices for a low income area are outrageous. I could find smuggled goods in a 3rd world country for the same rate. The owner of this place should be ashamed of themselves, food is a necessity that supports life and as one of the few in the area you have the responsibility to help sustain your community. They just remodeled their entrance but a bag of spinach is close to $4 shame on you for the price hike on food during a pandemic.

Been shopping here for 10 years and this place has always been great wth their amazing selections and great prices. They carry pretty much anything anyone could want... check out the fresh baked goodies (donuts, muffins, breads, etc) and the deli, where you can get any sort of sandwich made. Plus, a walk-in beer cooler with a wide selection of regular beers and microbrews. The staff are friendly and helpful. And there's Catskill Mtn Wine & Liquor right across the parking lot, so it's one stop shopping!

I have lived and worked in many small towns. This market is horrible. Myself and my co-workers have had many poor interactions with this store and it’s staff. I have brought to their attention that their yogurt was expired or about to expire and was told, “ what do you want me to do about it?” I have bought questionable beef or chicken from here, only to have it spoil the next day.The whole crew knows to shop before they get to town.But they do have a beer cave.

Jim's Great American is one of the best local grocery stores around. It serves a large community of people and wasn't forced into a chain brand after the depression of Hurricane Irene. The store rebuilt and the community came back stronger as a whole. We support the local stores!

One of the best markets anywhere near the area. Great service. Great helpful owner. And improving with new products. Amazing chicken salad. My one complaint is that they always run out of it.
