Supermarket sushi came through for me with an interesting flavor experience. Latin fusion "Arroz Picante" was mildly spicy, enhanced by lemon juice & cream cheese. Side note: I hadn't been here in a long time because Price Chopper turned itself into a fish fry for a few years, but now the odor of frying seafood is gone.

The guy with the low haircut behind the seafood counter is so damn rude and nasty! He always has an attitude and rolls his eyes when you try and place an order. If he doesn’t like his job he should just quit!

Both times I have gone there it was dirty. They do not keep the food cold enough so the blue cheese dressing and humus I bought had mold in them. The meat was red..ish on top, flip it over, All brown and old.

Always have product in stock. Decent prices. But I wish they had those scanners so I can scan my groceries as I shop. It saves so much time and allows for faster checkout. Plus I'd rather not have a cashier touching everything I purchase.

I stopped at Price Chopper on the way home from work at night it's convenient staff is always friendly and helpful I feel as though prices are a little higher than some other stores in the area as well as it could use some cleaning always be aware meet Department not only do you find bad meat that's out of date but they rewrap meet and put new dates on it

I faithfully shop here early in the morning after work. It’s always peaceful and positive, but unfortunately, I didn’t have the best encounter with a new cashier today. I don’t know if she was having a bad morning, but she had the nastiest attitude and was very impatient. Plus, I was the only person she was ringing up. I work overnights at a homeless shelter, so I knew how to deal with her discourteousness, Thank God. Please, train your employees to remain professional at all times. I don’t care what’s going on at home or work. Have respect for others.

Stopped by to send money through Western Union. Lady at the customer service told me I only can pay cash, not with a debit card. Start arguing with me that she is working there for 20 years and they can't accept debit card since that's how I set up on the app. Well, lady, I don't know your name, but, place across the street named Stop and Shop had no problem taking my debit card payment! I guess, you have been doing your job wrong for 20 years! But I have been using debit card to send money to Ukraine with no problem at other stores for the last year!

Big store, stocked & the cleanest one I've been in, within the area, the past few months..Finally tried the Online Ordering -I have kids all the time, so it's been tough through the pandemic, to get in and out..What a relief! It said 2 hours for delivery. My items, as I selected, were on my doorstep in a little over an hour! A great experience!!

I used to love shopping this store. I even recommended it to my brother. A veteran with a leg injury and who has suffered tremendous losses. He was at the store this past Friday 2/4/22 at around 6pm. He was purchasing beer, bread and a few other items. He was on line to pay and the cashier kept leaving the line to help other cashiers. He struck up a conversation with the gentleman behind him due to the lengthy wait. When it was finally his turn he didn't realize it until the gentleman behind him let him know. At which point he put his items on the belt. The lady ahead of him was still packing her groceries. The cashier asked to see his ID which he showed and she logged it and handed him the beer on the side where you usually put the groceries since the lady ahead of him was still bagging. At this point she asked to see his ID again. The gentleman behind him laughed because he had seen everything. Then this cashier told him he would not sell to him. No explanation. When he asked for the manager she told him she was the manager. Probably just the head cashier whose title inflated her head. If it was indeed the store manager, then we now know why stop and shop accross rt. 9 does so much better. I am letting all my friends, family and neighbors know so that they can avoid this store if they have another choice. I will be writing about to the corporate headquarters about this. We are of Hispanic decent and this is clearly a very discriminatory incident.

Decent shopping super market. It’s not as grand as market 32 but it is definitely a good deal price-wise hence the name. It would be better if it went back to 24 hours. Sometimes late night shopping is the best time with the fact that you have less crowding and you can get everything you need without mobs of other shoppers. The late night hours was one of the pluses of this supermarket, otherwise, it’s just a supermarket.

I've already expressed my (and I'm sure many, MANY other customers as well) gratitude for the new(er), upgraded, modern bottle return machines.They were MUCH NEEDED.The supermarket could use a refreshing modernization though. But how P.C. uses their money is none of my business. LoL

Since you loved my stars... Ive been shopping at this price chopper around 20 years. It's always been clean, stocked, and has friendly and understanding employees. I have ocd and the cashier's are always patient with me when I'm organizing my items on the conveyor belt. They help make the experience a little easier for me when I have very high anxiety when it comes to this challenging adventure. Kudos to price chopper!

Price Chopper in the Hudson Plaza (Poughkeepsie) is a big supermarket that has many special sections such as a bakery, butcher for meat, seafood and much more. All the fresh bakery items such as cakes are made on the premises. I must say that it's delicious!They have good prices and weekly sales specials. So it's a good idea to check out their sales circulars.If you have a Price Chopper rewards card you will get points that will give you a further discount towards your food shopping.There's a nice floral center in the store that has a pretty big selection of flowers 💐 especially considering its inside a supermarket.They also sell some non-food miscellaneous items like gift cards to restaurants and stores, envelopes, dog and cat toys, sponges, mouse traps, brooms, etc...I like the whole store over-all and recommend trying it out for yourself.

Price Chopper in Poughkeepsie NY is a great place to shop! They have deals for soda and juices alike. Just last night I was doing Uber Eats and saw the app was dying down so I ran in and grabbed my things I needed. The customers let me know where the cream cheese was and by the time I got to the cashier I was greeted by a great kid with a scar on his neck probably from a knife and he offered to use his advantage card so my groceries were cheaper! I thanked him and he was a great kid! I give this store 5 stars due to customer service and the people who shop there are great too!!

I’ve been shopping here at Price Chopper Poughkeepsie since I was child going with my parents. Now I go here by myself because I’m an adult now haha. I always loved to go shopping here. They have the freshest food around and just like every grocery store they do have coupons and other deals to help you save money. The one thing that I love about Price Chopper is when they fry Cod, Haddock, etc… it’s delicious with how fresh it tastes

Not a lot of brand options but this trip was a great experience. Quiet and clean store. Amazingly not crowded. Organized and products were well stocked. Plus a couple of unexpected savings coupons as I checked out.

Training, Training, Training... Please train your shoppers on replacement items. If I order Gatorade ZERO, don't replace it with regular Gatorade.. I ordered "ZERO" for reason. Zero is the key word.. I order fresh Cilantro, I got Cilantro in a TUBE??? Not so bad but... triple the price.. Please don't tell me Price Chopper didn't have fresh Cilantro available ?? Train your staff to look for key points, key words.. Gluten free? NO sugar added? Allergies? If you care for your buyers, you will train them to find those key points. Training or make your ordering site a little more specific with dietary needs. 3rd time ordered and 3rd time disappointed, I just like to give chances..

I had 2 chicken options...Tyson or store brand. NOT a high end grocery store. Lots of generic/store brands. Clean and organized...which I love. Decent prices but didn't see many brand names. Not a bad thing though. The plaza itself needs to rid the beggars. I hate that. There are places to get help AND if 2 grown men can stand in the cold all day, they can certainly go work at Wendy's across the street. Just sayin..

They are not the same as they used to be. I called inquiring about a certain ice cream, and the night person simply said," I dont know if we carry it. Come to the store and look for yourself." Proceeding to hang up on me. I went to the store, and they only had one kind of the ice cream I was looking for. I also shopped around looking for other things that you would find in any market chain, and yet again, they did not have it. The staff was disrespectful to say the least. The cashier was extremely rude, and threw my 2 things into a bag, and slammed it down, and had her hand out, and said,"well, are you going to pay? Nothing is free you know, and someone is behind you, so hurry up." I paid, she threw the bag at me, and I left. I will NOT be returning to this store ever again.

I love this price chopper. It's right down the street from me and is really convenient. The people there are always friendly and mor than willing to help you find something or look for something that you're looking for. The cashiers are always kind and courteous and even though if use the self check out a lot when I go through the regular line it is always quick and efficient even late at night. I also like that they are open till 1am because it means when I get out of work at 11 I can still go to the store if I need to.

Run of the mill grocery store. Always clean and people are friendly. Prices are great. Fresh produce is usually pretty good as well. They do have a little lunch cafe, I got the chicken tenders one time, pretty flavorful. And their chicken soup was really good too.

I feel the store is overprice for the quality they offer. The fish can be smelt 3 aisles away. I have bought the beef and it be very red on one side ,but nrown on the other. It is very hard to get help because peoe seem to succrry away and avoid eye contact so you don't ask them questions. I recently checked out in the express line and the front end manager Laura proceeded to stand and watch me until everything I had was scanned. She never asked me if I needed help or if I had a club card. Once I had scanned all my items and inserted my card did she walk away and finished scanning the area. She then ce back when she saw another customer and completely engaged them to make sure their experience was a successful one. I will never shop here again. I didn't feel like a valued customer and if I could give 0 stars I would. Where I spend my money I should be valued not treated like a criminal who is going to steal.

Not a bad supermarket... They did clean up the isles. The veggies could be fresher. They tend to go bad quick, same with fruit... Lines are always crazy long, never have enough registers open... Overall its ok.. The gas saving is a great way to save money.
