The experience from making the appointment, including the reminders, was flawless. Bernadette was awesome from start to finish. She answered all my questions regarding Benji's first haircut, which included what she felt she could do this time, because it was his first haircut, and could be done in the future when he gets more used to being groomed. I would definitely recommend Bernadette and Petco to anyone that needs to get their dog groomed.

Wonderful experience! Our huskies, Vader and Jedi received grooming services with Amanda and they both were so happy and beautiful when we picked them up. Can’t say enough about the extra attention and love she gives our dogs. Huskies are a handful, but she loves on them and makes them so comfortable!

We see soft loose poop from sick dogs all over the floor in Petco. The area where dogs are kept waiting for grooming definitely not sanitized. Healthy and sick puppies are being kept in the same area. My puppy went to Petco healthy and came back out sick. Now I have to bring him back for Vet visit, which I have to pay for. Evidence of neglect is clearly there. I won’t hesitate to present photos to my attorney.

This was the first time that my puppy had been groomed. She was very wiggly (at 19 pounds!) and absolutely does not like having her nails cut. She looked beautiful when I picked her up and was very happy and not traumatized at all. Amanda took into consideration that Lady did not like the blow dryer and let her air dry. We are going to be doing this monthly so that she becomes more comfortable and relaxed about the process.

Ashley was given explicit instructions about how my dogs face was to be cut and she did not follow my instructions. She cut the hair so it grows into my dogs eyes and becomes an extreme irritant. Not only that, but her face is lopsided. The total charge was over $60!! This negligence is TOTALLY unacceptable. This could affect my dogs vision!! Ashley was made aware of my concerns ahead of time, and I trusted her, as she seemed to understand what was asked of her. Also, some nails were cut, others untouched and Ashley never bothered to mention this or a reason why this happened. Given that the salon was so quiet, I do not understand the lack of attention to detail. I arrived to pick up my dog within 15 minutes of their request, to hear her screaming in the back with the stylists, who were not grooming at the time, just ignoring her. Because the dog was upset, I quickly put her in her carrier without looking her over...and I gave Ashley a $10 tip! I am beyond unhappy with this salon, I WILL be sharing my experience with my friends who own dogs.

We have 2 French Bulldogs and we could not find a better groomer than Amanda. One of our dogs Napoleon can be difficult, but she handles him with no problem. We have had other groomers but so far this is the best.

He looked great. Soft and they really got his undercoat out. He was shedding like crazy before I brought him and he had had a 'furminator' bath somewhere else that didn't really help with the shedding. After the Petco furminator bath, he is barely shedding and he looks and smells great! Thanks!

The website does not allow you to make an appointment for just a nail clip without a bath or another full package. Getting through to the grooming staff was a challenge, I tried for 2 days before getting through to someone, but once I did, scheduling was quick and the actual appointment was friendly and fast as well. If you could fix the website it would be awesome!

Amanda Corbo is our go-to favorite for nail trims - she's always excited to see my girls and has the skill and patience to make the session as stress free as possible.
