Went in and asked cashier where I could find Hermit Crab supplies and she didn’t feel there was any but directed me to where I might find them if they did, fortunately they did so you have another Jersey shore crab in a beautiful house today😂. They have the cutest pet bakery as well. The only downside was cashier wasn’t so approachable or knowledgeable. She may want to take a walk through and familiarize herself with the store because it has a lot of great things. I almost left and went to the pet store down the road when she made it seem as though they didn’t have any hermit supplies.

We always buy food for our dog at the store because they have a good brands.Twice is happening the food was expired and dog got sick, 2 different brands: Origen and other brand, since the first time we checked expired dates, on Origin food hard to find it.I suppose trust the store to check all inventory before and after is placed at the store.Very disappointing: one ok, was a errorand second time same expired dog food.We have to pay the vet for “Pet Goods”

Every employee always has this smirk on their face and walks around with an attitude and act annoyed like it not their job to check you out at the register or help throughout the store. Also have gotten multiple items expired so I’d check that before hand. Cat and dog food.

They send really great coupons and the staff are SO friendly and knowledgeable! Definitely the only place I buy my bed supplies.

Ask the manager Greg about the pet snakes that died and he skinned on the floor of the store. The amount of clueless people who go in there and don't see anything wrong with the conditions of this store baffle me, the owner of pet goods really needs to reevaluate himself and the people he hires.

The workers are extremely helpful, and knowledgeable not only the animals there but also the equipment there. They have a good selection of snakes & fish. There were also a few reptiles as well! In terms on cages(homes) and bedding for your pets they have lots to choose from. The pricing is great as well! Greater selection than any other pet store in the area. They are also located by the mall! So it can be a day full of events.

The experience here is always great. The store is spread out and well stocked. We have bunnies and it's hard to find a good selection of toys/food/treats in one store for them around here. I've found pet goods is always reasonably priced, has the items I need, and has decent sales. They have their point system, coupons on the back of shop rite receipts, and participate in an oxbow buy 5 get 1 free on the bunny food I purchase. There are also occasional sales on items and I can use manufacturer coupons as well. Stacking the sales and coupons does add up. I'd recommend as a locally owned alternative to petsmart or petco.

They always have beautiful selections of leashes and collars, they are very helpful and the store is always clean! I have went there multiple times and different times of the day and always the same! They have lots of pet items not overly priced! All the things you need for your fury loved one! From grooming, oh gosh just so much!!

This is one of the only pet stores in the area that carries a wide variety of food/toys/treats from smaller, less well known companies. I was so happy to find this place, they have a bigger variety of choices than most commercial pet stores. Everyone there is kind, helpful and friendly.

I love this pet store! They have an unbelievable selection of pet products and live animals/fish that you cannot find elsewhere, and unbeatable customer service! The workers are very knowledgeable and are willing to help with any problem you are having. I also like that you can special order fish/pets that you are looking for if they don't have it. They alsoget in the most gorgeous cichlids, angelfish, and other fish I have ever seen in the area!Highly recommend this store!

Went in today to get substrate for my snakes nothing on the shelves, the poor cashier was forced to run back and forth between fish and register because the manager was too lazy and sitting in his office while a line builds up. Very disappointed this place has gone way down hill recently.

I Waited in fish section for over 20 minutes for no one to come. While walking on a Cain I walk up to cashier and ask her for the fluval fx6 a $349.99 value. She says it’s in the back bring up the box. I state to her that it says not to bring box up, just to go tell cashier and product will be upfront. She then looked in the front and didn’t see it to only call for help out the back. Young ladie walked to back only to drop the unsealed box several times. You would think the amount of money of the product the would treat it carefully. Breaking the carrying handles on sides and possibly damaging product inside. I pray the filter is ok. When asked if there’s any coupons that she could scan in she stated it would be in your email for our petgood members. I opened my email and presented the email with barcode for her to scan, she then opens her draw and scans the coupon she said she didn’t just have. Then when asked about the 10% coupon she stated the $20 off coupon would be more then the 10% off. I kindly corrected her math error and decided to leave the store and stated dont worry it’s not a problem. Poor customer service. The cashiers name is Amanda. I should of known she was having a bad day when I arrived she was complaining about the store and how they need to fix barcodes. It’s truly a shame because they have someone that works in the reptile section that’s amazing and well educated on the products he sells. I’m on the waiting list for a tegu when it arrives but not sure if I will spend my hard earned money with this store again. Also was told they would bring product outside and left the torn box on the floor for me to bring out walking on a Cain.

People are nice. They have a great selection of products. Their pricing is absurd. Take a ride to Patterson NY and shop at the Feed Barn. Prices are much better and the service is the best.

Best pet store in area by farThe employees are more like zoo keepers then kids making $12 an hour, there knowledge is amazing to me. I’m a huge fish enthusiast and know just about everything I thought I needed to know to raise my fish. Every visit almost I learn something new or see fish I’ve never seen. Any questions I ask a bout these rare fish the guys in the back have more info then I thought possible without a college degree.The management makes any issue right , and right on the spot.The BEST part about Pet Goods is that ITS A LOCALLY OWNED BUSINESS!!!My favorite pet store ever, I grew up in nyc and they have some great fish/pet stores so that says a lot.I find myself at pet Goods 3-4 times a week for my cat/dog supplies and love seeing the amazing new fish and reptiles they get weekly., Ryan C

Always have great staff, usually have young animal enthusiasts who are great to talk to. Always have great deals on Dog Food, 10th bag free deal as well. Best place for Reptile Food as well. Usually have a few new animals after each reptile show which is much better than the chains that have terrible suppliers.

started to use this pet store because of the variety of food for my pets. store very clean well organized and easy to find what u are looking for. I use the back section the store more than front its where the reptile and fish are kept . The employee named chris is always more than helpful and is always in a positive mood which is what I want when u are spending your money. if u have any questions or need help I suggest u ask for chris he knows hes stuff.

excellent supply of every pet item you could possibly need !!!! they have a very impressive inventory !my one complaint is that the staff that I encountered were very unorganized and seemed totally uninterested in their jobs. also the feeder mice and rats had no matter and were so sad and dehydrated and when I thought this to the staff's attention they seemed rather unfazed and uninterested in giving the poor animals water.

horrible treatment of animals, sold me a sick and dying rat i cant imagine the state of the other animals that live in the backthey should be shut down truly i’m heartbrokennot to mention the way the staff treated her right in front of me, he should be fired at the very leastpicked her up by the tail (which you should never do)shoved her in a old shipping box that was for shampoo, taped it shut with no holes (rats have horrible ventilation issues regardless), did not check for id or make me sign anythingimmediately i poked a hole with my finger and opened the box right after walking outno procedure at all compared to when i bought my gerbils at pet smart

The one thing I really hate about PetGoods is their socalled website. If you bother to even search for anything, it comes up empty. But then you stop by and there it is on the shelf. Sometimes with better prices than Amazon. Come on PetGoods, create a better website that actually shows your inventory.

Locally owned. Friendly staff. Found a bunch of maggots (from the factory) in a huge bag of Purina Pro Plan dog food and they gave me a full refund, and helped me find a better product that my dogs love!!
