A good selection of locally grown produce and meat with organic and vegan foods as well. The bakery used to be pretty good, but they have recently scaled back the amount of baking they do and bought in Heidelberg bread which is excellent.They also provide a wide variety of prepared foods for lunches like wraps, sandwiches, soups, breakfast sandwiches etc. Many of these items are also vegan.

Great place to shop for local produce or specialty goods. Right now they have fresh donuts which are very good. And I also really enjoy the fresh nut butters.

Good selections of organic vegetables, all natural prepared & packaged food, coffee and really delish scones (ginger scones are my fave). Great for healthy grab-to-go lunches & hot soups.

Stopped by today for some scones... I ended up buying two sourdough mini loaves. The Nourish Bakery is supplying a nutritious and very tasty variety. I got the Lumberjane ( fruits, nuts, sprouted seeds, yum) and a Mexican spiced crusty loaf. The baker, Douglas, is doing a great job at providing a healthy choice at an introductory price! Grab 'em while they're fresh @ 4.99 a piece you can't go wrong. Good luck to Nourish and Douglas the baker!

I absolutely love this place! Bulk spices and coffees are high quality with great prices. They carry many items that I’ve had trouble finding elsewhere, especially vegan items! Their bread is delicious and often still warm from being baked, and their wraps/sandwiches are so good! It’s becoming one of my favorite places to shop in Potsdam!

The store is a gem. I love the Heidelberg Bread and the Montreal Bagels. Yesterday I bought a jar of Brooklyn Delhi Cashew Butter Masala Simmer Sauce, and heated it with paneer, coconut milk, spinach, kale, and I served it over basmati rice. A truly warming meal.

I really enjoy this place. I absolutely love the deli wraps personally. The selection of goods are unique and it's always a treat to come here. Quality of goods and foods are great. I feel refreshed after having food/drink from here. Prices are in the fair range and selection of items in store is great. I would recommend to anyone interested in organic, fresh, bulk dry goods, unique & healthy food/drink, and so on. Thanks for being a part of the North Country.

The sandwiches are very good and so are the baked goods even when the scones are a bit over baked. The produce is generally good and the bulk section is the best. The co-op is a bit on the expensive side, but the location is convenient and it is easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

Nice food co-op!This is a really nice place! The staff is friendly and kind. There is a nice selection of fresh made sandwiches and salads.They have a very small selection of supplements. They have a good selection of health and beauty care and bulk items.Neat store in a neat atmosphere!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Love the bulk item selection and the amazing array of vegan and vegetarian friendly prepared foods and ingredients. Bakery items are always fresh and delicious too. Lots of local produce and merchandise which is wonderful to see.

I've been a Co-op member for over 40 years and have watched it grow from scoop your own from woods housed in large trashcans to its present store. There are now hundreds of grocery items and bulk bin choices. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the store's emphasis on locally grown/produced foods is exactly the right thing for our community. I would give the Co-op 5 stars, but the prices on some items are a bit high - which is a reflection of the challenge of being a small, local store. That said, spices and bulk items are generally lower in price than the national grocery chains. The Potsdam Co-op raises the quality of life here in the North Country, and I highly recommend becoming a member. (Note: you do not have to be a member to shop there).

Great organic food and products. There is this all natural bug repellent they sell here and it works miracles. My personal favorite items are the Curried Cashews and the Smoked Almonds. Its a little bit pricey here bit the quality is above none.

Not really the kind of place I care for, but a nice resource if you need foods for many kinds of special dietary needs. The bulk spices are appreciated. Lots of organic foods, but I couldn't care less--I consider organic a massive waste of money. The baked goods coming out of the affiliated Carriage House Bakery are rustic and delicious.

Great place for those with dietary restrictions or just want a healthy diet. It can be pricey but definitely a good shopping option - joining the Co-op will mitigate the higher prices. They get fresh bread from the local bakery and make a few prepared meals. Usually stop by to purchase some of their healthy prepared foods instead of eating out for lunch. Recommend checking out this small but unique grocery store if you are seeking something different to eat!

plenty of good stuff - gluten and lactose free, seeds, nuts, dried fruit... the "curried chick pea salad" is delicious.lots of interesting healthier alternatives...and beauty type products too...love the bulk bins for spices and herbs and grains. workers are friendly/helpful.only down side really is the price

Our home town store. If you want to buy local this is it! Bulk foods are now sold in plastic bags. Organic and local foods are here. Spices of all kinds are available and staff will put bag them for you! Fun place to shop!

What a treat to come upon this gem after the wilderness of the area east of Potsdam. Traveling back from kayaking near Paul Smiths NY last summer, we stumbled on this co-op and were amazed by the selection, quality, and prices. I'm looking forward to stopping there again on my way into the Park.
