Not a good experience at all, I placed an online order over 2 weeks ago and I was told that I would receive my order on Saturday. I was called by this store directly, told it was going out that day and I waited all day long until at the end of the day I receive a email saying it was postponed okay no big deal, then it was postponed 3 more times by the store and which each time I was either contacting or being contacted by the store my next delivery date the following Saturday comes around and it doesn’t come. I call and speak with deliveries and ask them to be honest if it isn’t coming on Monday as I have contractors coming to install this item and would cancel that day if that wasn’t the case, I was promised that it would be here on Monday. I called Monday and was told that it would be out for delivery as that is what it days but we Will have someone contact you. No call and I check my status on the app to see it was moved to Wednesday and when called I was given every excuse in the book followed with an “I’m sorry” I was told I would be receiving a call by the “end of day” and here we are no phone call with the status of me refund as this resulted in a last minute local hunt to find the items I needed, with no thanks to this Lowe’s with zero customer service or any even honesty with the exception of the fact that they didn’t want to lift it.

Mostly good experiences with them (many of the people working there are very knowledgeable). The one big issue was how they hooked up the power cord for a new stove. The delivery person who installed the cord made a mess of it (the cable was not strain relieved and they cracked the cover in the process). Attempts to contact Lowe's support just got me brushed off by an agent who didn't understand why strain relief is important for electrical cables. Shame on Lowe's for this!

Went to get a gallon of paint, ended up wearing some of it on my clothing. This was after hearing the worker discuss with another customer she'd been out all night and working with no sleep. So thanks to her selfishness, I managed to ruin $100 of clothing. Manager didn't even try to reconcile. Awful.

Just bought a toilet with the help of Greg. Very kind, very helpful, gave lots of advice on the most popular toilets, the supplies we would need, and important tips for DIY toilet replacement. Even pushed the through the store and loaded the toilet into the car. Thanks Greg!

I went in looking for a set of forsner bits with hex shanks , but no luck. They didn't have any bits except the ones with the smooth shanks for a regular drill or drill press.

Lowes Home Improvement is a great place to shop for tools, building supplies, and other household needs. If you use the liwes app on your phone, it's very easy to find what you need because when you do a search, it tells you exactly where to find the item. Their prices are comparable to other home improvement stores. I highly recommend Lowes

Employees are so nice. Like srsly everyone always has dog treats in their pockets and welcome all pooches shopping with owners - not just service doggos. Every employee that passes you asks if you need help. They make returns easy. They are just all around very nice.

I recently purchased cabinets at the Plattsburgh NY Lowes. I was pleasantly surprised with the experience as the associate, Emily Burke, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She knew her department perhaps better than any associate I have ever dealt with. She and Annaliese in appliances even stayed beyond their shift to help us wheel everything out to the truck.

It's a pretty standard Lowes, as far as those things go. Like most national big-box stores, it seems like they push the garden stuff way before it's time in this area, but that's not a decision made locally. More importantly, they had what we were looking for and the staff were friendly and helpful.

This place has a little bit of everything. All the tools you can imagine and pretty much everything else you need to build a house. They also have appliances, lawn and garden things and ect. They get a massive flower selection in every year too. The prices aren't that bad and the plants are usually in great shape. The lines aren't ever long at the registers, they always have alot of employees on and they are friendly.

I recommend this Lowes over home depot for their treatment of customers and the treatment of veterans. There seems to be a better selection at better prices as well

Purchased sheet vinyl flooring for kitchen remodel during Dec 2022 when they were advertising free installation. Email from the flooring rep confirmed free install. When we looked at the invoice, there were many labor charges. We returned to clarify & were told free install for only for carpeting - something not mentioned on the ad or by the flooring rep. At 1st, customer service rep said the extra charges were for labor, not installation. When I asked what the difference was, she called her manager who confirmed we were paying for install & he could not change it as it "came from corporate". Deceptive advertising & sales practices! If I could give minus stars I would. Website was no help in contacting corporate offices.

I was told by an associate that Lowe's charges for pickup of old appliances. The fee is $40 per item....That adds up really quickly. Why would someone order from Lowes when Home Depot offers identical appliances for the same price with free shipping and removal? Have to say very disappointed in that, and that's the reason all appliances will continue to be purchased with Home Depot instead. Otherwise everyone in the store has always been friendly and helpful when needing assistance.

Went in looking for an electric fireplace and found one I was interested in but no associate in that section to assist. The one associate who was just finishing helping another customer never acknowledged me or asked if they could help. Went to front cashier asked for assistance and she paged someone to that area. My son and I waited but no one came. Three associates at service counter chatting and laughing.. We left very disappointed and without the fireplace. Unfortunately this is not the first time there has been an issue with this store and their customer service. $500+ will be spent elsewhere.

The sales people were awesome to work with and did as best they could. Lowes hires Service Pro to install carpets. Twice, Service Pro installers called Lowes and lied about our status once saying we weren't home and again saying that we were not ready. While we still have both bedrooms sitting in our living room. So I tried getting a meeting with Lowes manager and heard absolutely nothing. So I returned it all. I'll find someone else to relie on. It's a hard thing to find now-a-days!

The worker at the customer service desk was doing nothing and had no consideration for my struggle when there at 8:30pm. That worker didn't want to provide customer service to me the customer and directed me to another register . I and my elderly mother weren't happy me more so than her. It was wet and cold but where I work, I would have done better and have been rewarded as such. Lowes Corporate big wigs need to implement a cash out policy at a non busy service desk when the person there was standing around. Besides the ladies who assisted me were great. The one at the service desk was not.

Terrible customer service. Called several times trying to correct the phone number on my purchase. All I kept getting was sorry, she’s a trainee. Do who’s training her? Still no word on whether the installer has my correct phone number. Was promised a phone call back from Lowe’s several times. Never happened. They are extremely understaffed. Very frustrated.

7/20/2021 I called for price and availability on a tool. I was informed by a gentleman in hardware that he was busy with a customer and then he hung up on me. I've had good experiences there before now, but that was horrifically unprofessional.

Didn't have what I needed in store seen from their website. At the price listed.Today 2/16/23 went to buy lumber and hand tools , was surprised to find no batteries or charger was in box when I got home. The sales associate told me the items come with the tools lol.

If they say they will call you, don't hold your breath. I have provided my information at least 5 times and told each time that they will call me back. No call ever came.Also related to their inability to return calls, I ordered a fence installation with them. Received one follow up call letting me know that my parts were ordered and was told I would receive another call letting me know when the order came in. No call. Had to call them only for them to tell me they came in two weeks ago. Then I ask about when the install will be done. They didn't have an answer but had to escalate my call to corporate for them to be able to help me. They inform me that my installation would be completed the week of 8/19-8/25. 2 weeks go by and I have heard nothing. I call Lowe's on Sunday (8/19) to see if there is any update they ask if my fence was delivered yet and that it should have been delivered awhile ago (it was not). So I had to schedule a delivery for that day and the delivery driver basically wanted to do it right away (I was on my way to Canton for work), and I was unable to turn around to do it. He was accommodating and worked with me to set up a time for drop off. Installer called to do a walk through of the plans and I schedule it for Sunday around 4. Installer shows up promptly and is friendly. We go through the run through without issue. Then he starts making sure that everything is there for the install. He gets to looking closely at the gate that Lowe's dropped off. They sent a 4 foot tall gate (the rest of the fence is 5 foot) that is 5 feet wide. Asked the installer if we could simply rotate it, and he said that we could but it would not be right because of where the post caps would be going. Called Lowe's with the installer right there; naturally no one was able to take my call. Gave them my information and they told me they would escalate this to an assistant manager. 3 days have gone by, and still no response regarding the incorrect gate size.If there were any other home improvement store in the immediate area, I would opt to go there instead of Lowe's. The incompetency is astounding.
