Terrible customer service. The lady behind the counter last Friday 2/23/2024 at about 1:50pm was horrible. She had an attitude and when my coupon printed took it out and put it to the side. I had to ask her to give me the coupon as she got annoyed as if she was going to keep it for herself. She also had AirPods in her ears and was talking on the phone while helping me and other customers. What kind of training is done at this location that you allow employees to be rude, talk on their phones and keep customers coupons that they are spending money for. I will never return to this location and I will be letting everyone I know to stay away. You can also see in other reviews that this is not the first time that this employee has been complained about. Clearly Walgreens does not care about customer service if this behavior is allowed to continue.

Whoever is the night shift manager on March 7th, 2024 at 6:30 pm, she needs to get fired by Walgreens. I wanted to return an online order that I purchased online and showed her the online receipt and she insisted on needing the barcode from the online receipt and gave me attitude.IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB, QUIT IT.There’s no barcode on the receipt and only the order number. I believe there are also alternative ways to complete the online return such as entering the phone number or by the order number. If you’re the manager reading this review, just a FYI that this will be going to Walgreens corporate as well AND think of other ways to do things. DONT STAY IN THE INDUSTRY IF YOU HATE CLIENT FACING ROLE.

What a great Walgreens! It’s my second time here as I’m new to the area, and Rick helped me today! What a delight and sweet human making the experience an overflow of joy into my day. Thank you, Rick! And also, I picked up photos— they came out great! Very clear and what I was hoping for. I sent in the order online and it was completed within MINUTES!

This the worst place in portwashington,The workers are so rude & they have a lots of attitude specially the lady that she said she’s in charge of the place ,She’s unwelcome never say hello just stared at you in the cashiers, take a long of time to answers the question with impolite shape ,They workers think that this place is their property & don’t care about customers.Every single time I came out from there unhappy & buy my stuff in the other places.I hope this place will be change as soon as possible to the other place that give the customers acceptable service that we deserve in portwashington .

What is going on at this pharmacy? Trying to get anything done here is a real hassle. Several times I requested transfer of prescription from another pharmacy but it never happened and no call or explanation. Waiting for a vaccine is always a wait even with an appointment and no other people waiting. I don’t know if they are incompetent or don’t care or are intentionally not wanting to do their jobs. The entire pharmacy staff needs to be retrained or replaced. I know others have reviewed similar complaints but after seeing it for myself, I have to agree with most of the one star negative comments.

Been using this pharmacy forever but had enough. I get the same prescription filled every month. A very common med but it never goes smoothly. Never. Ever.I give up. Completely mismanaged. Some of the employees are nice but you can tell they are getting just as frustrated. I blame management. I can’t see how this place stays in business. I was hoping Walgreens would clean house and fix all the issues... apparently just a name change. Time to take my business elsewhere. I hear stop and shop has a great pharmacy.

Will they ever get it right? From Genovese to Rite Aid to now, Walgreens. Terrible staff. Not friendly, rude, impatient, like they hate their job. Why work work the public then? Makes me want to not shop there anymore. Learn lessons from Target! Such a pleasant experience every time we shop there!

Sadly, the pharmacy at this location leaves much to be desired.Not once have I gone to the counter, and the entire staff didn’t seem to be completely overwhelmed & full of excuses. They always appear to be confused, rushed, & disorganized...all while being overly concerned with personal conversations, instead of moving customers through the pickup process efficiently.As for trying to get through to the pharmacy over the phone...make sure you carve out at least a half hour.Additionally...perhaps the staff should stagger their lunch breaks, instead of taking a large chunk out of the middle of the day to close up shop.I find it hard to believe a corporation such as Walgreens allows such mediocre service at one of their locations.

I try to be understanding of staffing challenges but I have waited on hold for more than 30mins to reach the pharmacy the last 4 times that I have called over the past 2 weeks. I have tried different times of day and days of the week, but no matter the day or time I have had to wait terribly long just to reach anyone. Something needs to change here!

HORRIBLE pharmacy staff. Do not get a booster here - you will wait 45 mins and they will see people that came after you. Pharmacist admitted that she does not sanitize the chair after every person, only changes gloves. You will likely get COVID from getting a booster here. Mask policy is not enforced.

Rite Aid was better. Some of the staff are nice but others are so bitter about everything. Just dropped off a FedEx package and the complaining was terrible. Want a little cheese with that whine?

The people who work in the pharmacy are by far the nastiest people I have ever had to deal with. They deal with people so the fact that all they do is give you a nasty attitude goes against everything their job stands for. I have a medication I actually need in order to function in life and they choose to give you a disgusting attitude instead of trying to help. I’m calling corporate and going there in person to file a complaint with the manager. Don’t lie to a customer give them an attitude and expect to get away with it.

Unfortunately very unprofessional, I placed a photo order online, “same day Pickup” and I got an email saying they are processing my order, I get to the store 2 days later, because I never got an email with an status update, long story short they were not even aware of my order, ‘till I showed up to pickup my order, and they just said “our machine doesn’t work” but please, a phone call or an email to let me know that, Would be nice. But thanks to the customer service online support I was able to get it done, somewhere else.

I prefer the new Walgreens to the former Rite Aid.To the couple people complaining about being unable to bring their dogs into a drug store, get over yourselves. It's a drug store! It's a place where people need to go to pick up their medications and should be able to do so safely. Leave your dog outside or don't bring it at all! Dogs don't belong in these types of establishments, and the fact that there are people complaining that they can't bring it in are truly unbelievable. No. You are not entitled to bring your dog wherever. Follow laws and store policies. "Support animals" are NOT trained service animals. Leave your PET at home.

I have frequented the Rite Aid in the Soundview shopping center on Shore Road in Port Washington, NY for the past three years without incident or complaint. Today on the other hand was quite the uncomfortable experience. I walk in for the sole purpose of picking up medication. I walked straight to the pharmacy pick up counter with my 13 year old Italian greyhound tucked in my arm as if I were holding my baby. I understand that NYC forbids dogs of any kind to enter establishments that serve food. I was unaware this applied to drug stores as I have seen people bring their dogs in at various chain drug store locations. Here's where the fun begins... A Rite Aid employee began to viciously harass me in the store as I made my way over to pharmacy. I kept going in fear he was going to become more aggressive. He was yelling to me to take the dog outside. Then he stated, "Either leave IT in the car or leave IT outside!!!" I turned to him and asked if he would leave a child in the car or outside. It's December mind you. This unruly individual was at this point invading my personal space and harassing me in a threatening tone. I asked him to move away so I can purchase my prescription. He finally moved only five feet away from me and began texting with rapid speed. The pharmacist approached the counter. She was lovely and helpful. She looked at my dog adoringly who's name is Gaston. I asked if I can have my prescription before I get arrested by this lunatic. She smiled and retrieved the prescription and the whole transaction took all of 1 minute. I then walked out.I am a law abiding citizen and involved in the community as well as being a health care provider for the North Shore LIJ Health system. This type of aggressive behavior by a Rite Aid employee is offensive and unacceptable. What if my dog happened to be a certified therapy dog?? Did he ever think to ask first?? No, that would make him somewhat intelligent. Instead he was discriminatory. I will make certain that everyone in the community becomes aware of this individual and his intrusive actions. I ask administration to implement better customer care training methods because that was a very sad example. I will be taking my business else where.Sincerely, Annoyed.

When asked for help from manager was cursed out and banned from the store for using WesternUnion don’t go here Target is next door with better prices and have to use any other pharmacy but theirs as they never have anything in stock and are very rude with the exception of the tellers who are nice but not trained no one knows where anything is and getting help doesn’t exist unless you ask politely and get cursed out and thrown out for asking for help. Don’t Go Here

I have always gone to this establishment, before it was Walgreens. After the transition, I was starting to see the downfall of this brand new store over the previous. Prices are outrageous. Tobacco products are using the NYC Tax code when they should be using Nassau County/NYS Tax code. I will be following up with Phillip Morris USA, I.T.G Brands and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco. ETC. I look forward to your reply.
