Rice balls! Spaghetti muffin! Eggplant meatballs! So much deliciousness here. They also have a full line of regular groceries, although price-wise I would not see myself being able to go there on a regular basis for those.Kind of shocked that they didn't have rainbow cookies aka seven layer cookies. But I will definitely be back!

This place is awesome, daily fresh mozzarella balls, fresh pasta and sauces! You never have to cook by going to them. They have a variety of selections I forged chicken cutlets and salads! Guys they even have a wall just for sandwiches they thought of everything! During the day they have an actual butcher there cut your meat whenever you want filet mignons porterhouse t-bone steaks you name it they'll cut it up for you and you don't have to pay anything extra. Their deli is amazing I've gotten them to cater for me a couple of times and there are top notch. Perfect person to talk to Pierre. Those guys will handle you with the ultimate respect and guide you in your perfect ways for whatever small part of you have to as big as a party you have! Give them a minimum of 3 hours for any catering hero or whatever these guys are GREAT!

Do you remember the first time you walked into a fresh produce market that was flanked by a butcher, fishmonger, and all the antipasti you could ever want? If you have them you already know about Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace. My experience was more of the ready to eat grab and go products and they didn't disappoint. Day one was the grab and go Chicken Parmesan for two. Day two was a Hero/Hoagie for the road. All were amazing. A must stop for whatever grocery needs you might have.

Amazing experience at Uncle Giuseppe’s, as always!!! Delicious and healthy food, amazing cheese selection, fresh produce as always and OUTSTANDING customer service! They greet me with a smile every time I’m there! If you can’t find a product or they don’t have it on the shelf, immediately they take care of you! The manager Amir is always so polite and helpful! It’s always a pleasant experience to shop there! I don’t mind the prices if I’m gonna be taken care of like this!!

I like shopping here. I find the products that I need especially the butcher and Italian specialty items, albeit overpriced. What I don't like about this place is miserable, unhappy and rude staff that I find working there. Nobody is happy or Smiles at you. Nobody goes out of their way to help you or makes you feel welcomed. The bickering and arguing amongst the checkout workers is really uncalled for. I really wish management would address this.

I have been coming here for years for the produce, meats, fish, and the deli. Real quality here. I do not buy laundry detergent and things like that here it is to expensive. Go to Wal-Mart or target for that sort of iteams. The service is great and checkout is fast.

The fresh OJ I bought was rotten (tasted like it was carbonated). It's a shame because prior to today their OJ tasted great. Will have to just get the Whole Foods fresh OJ as they are more consistent with quality.

This is the WORST Uncle Giuseppe’s I have been to. It’s very small and the aisles are verynarrow. They have limited selection and many things did NOT look fresh. I definitely won’t be returning to this location.

This upscale grocery has a great selection of products. They have a large display of many types of cheese. They offer a huge variety of olives.Their prepared foods department has people standing three deep waiting for quality dishes.Given the name of the store, it's not surprising that they feature Italian products.Hidden in a corner is their fresh fish department, where I bought 1.25 lb lobsters for $7 per lb. in June of 2023!

Normally, I'm super happy going to Uncle Giuseppe's. It's not among the closest stores. I usually go there to find certain specialty items or need speciation service. The beef item I was looking for way on the shelf nor was the butcher available at the moment.I'll still be visiting the Uncle when conditions are right.

I have been and will remain a loyal customer. The selection, the cleanliness if the store, the staff, even the management team have always been extremely helpful. Most important, and what keeps me as a customer, is the quality of their inventory. I live to cook and will go out of my way to use the freshest vegetables. Equally, I will NEVER compromise quality and selection of my meat items. I have never yet had to go elsewhere.

Pretty tight when compared to other locations. Let's play how many items you can fit in a certain square footage? Ha! Everything looks neat considering. Can't say the staff were that welcoming. Could just be the general attitude and atmosphere of the neighborhood itself.

This is my neighborhood Uncle G's. The supermarket is small, but is popular. I believe they are trying to expand. The place is gourmet and the prices reflect that. Produce is fresh. I've gotten catering from them a number of times and they are very good for six foot heroes and wings. The prepared foods are pretty good as well. If you like fancy supermarkets and don't want to be seen schlepping in the Stop and Shop, then this is the place is for you.

Can't even begin to give them enough praise! This store is by far my favorite local market to shop at. It's not cheap, but the quality of the items you find here at Uncle Giuseppe's is outstanding, & everyone from the stock persons, to counter managers, to the checkout folks are as helpful & friendly as can be. If your fortunate enough to live close by, I honestly can't see where else you would want to shop.

Very disappointing “Italian” Supermarket.Went in to get stuff to make Amatriciana. Trying to find Guanciale and the guy behind the deli counter had no idea what I was talking about. I speak Italian fluently so I was pronouncing it correctly and with the right annunciation but he still had no idea what I was talking about.I finally pointed out what I wanted and he was almost surprised they even had it. What kind of “Italian” supermarket doesn’t even know they sell Guanciale? The rest of the store was very underwhelming when it came to Italian products. The imported pasta and canned tomatoes was limited. I was glad to find a can of Mutti brand but it was so almost an afterthought buried in. The pasta was meh even the fresh stuff looked alright. Not enough real imported brands. They sell Barilla everywhere now so that isn’t impressive. The seafood department was small and closed and the butcher department looked like any other. The cheese section was mediocre and the fact they sell a ton of knockoff domestic pre-grated “Parmesan” is an insult. Lastly what kind of Italian supermarket doesn’t bake their own bread. I could be mistaken but I didn’t see any house made stuff.Honeslty I get a better Italian supermarket from North Shore Farms down the street and it’s doesn’t even brand it self as one. They carry more actual imported Italian products, with a better seafood/butcher counter and they bake their own bread in house.

I've shopped at this market many time. Through very small in size it carries an abundance of fine gourmet products from many different lables. Excellent deli. Huge selection of freshly prepared items we saw 2 piping hot trays of fresh stuffed peppers come out. The aroma was just like my mom made them. One question, why no fresh whole wheat rolls or baguettes? But they do have fresh deliciously baked breads. Great cheese selections, beautiful fresh fish. We were tempted to buy the whole red snapper.

Uncle Giuseppe's is a five star place. This particular location is a little small, so you don't get the full experience of all the glory that is Uncle Giuseppe's, which is why I'm taking off a star. That doesn't mean you shouldn't go, but just that if this is the only Uncle Giuseppe's you've been to, you need to make a pilgrimage to one of the bigger stores!Ok, so Uncle Giuseppe's is an higher end Italian grocery store. Their cured meats, cheeses, bread, and prepared foods are generally wonderful. Their produce is always quality as is their butcher section. I have never had a bad dessert from their bakery section (and I'm picky about that kind of thing). You'll find some olive oils, balsamic vinegars, dried pasta, and other Italian products that you might not see in a regular grocery store plus some more gourmet, but you'll also find a lot of typical grocery products. The prices are what you expect for the quality of the products--certainly not cheap but probable a better deal than a smaller Italian deli.

Pierre was wonderful! So pleasant and attentive - the butchers had left for the day but Pierre was willing to step in and help!

Always busy on the weekend, and only more so just before Christmas. However, well staffed with helpful employees. I love how they have "baggers" at the checkout lines. It's expensive, but the produce, deli, butcher, etc are top notch.

Not a bad Italian supermarket. Some things are very expensive, like the pre-made food but it is good. Lots of fresh fruit and produce, with a large speciality Italian foods selection. Was expecting a better fresh butcher rather than the prepackaged stuff in the fridge for specialty cuts or even just you're average steaks. All in all though, worth checking out if you're having guests for Sunday dinner.

This is my go to for great seafood, appetizers sandwiches, list goes on. I have been a loyal customer since they opened, and I will continue to do so as long as the store is there. Thanks to the staff, Pia?Ralphie, Joe (the best butcher and all around nice guy) the list is long :) Thank you all, you make it a pleasure to shop ~

Uncle Giuseppe's is a little pricier than the average grocery store in Port, but you're paying for convenience and a quality selection of prepared foods. Their pasta (ravioli, tortellini, etc) is quite good as are premade dishes like chicken cutlets and various salads. They also have a pretty good cheese selection for such a small store and everyone is polite and helpful. A nice place to stop in a get a few things for dinner if you're willing to pay a little extra.

It is nice having a small, local, imported specialties store in our neighborhood. The strip mall location on Port Washington Boulevard is also host to two other highly valued local stores: Port Wine & Liquors and Salem Drugs. We are very happy to have all these stores at this location, but recently it was announced that Uncle Giuseppe's wants to force the other two stores to either move to new locations or go out of business entirely just so they can expand their parking lot to turn their business into a supermarket to compete with larger stores such as North Shore Farms or Stop and Shop selling ordinary commodity goods. It is not appropriate to allow a large chain to eliminate two highly-valued local businesses in our neighborhood for their own purposes of corporate expansion at great expense. Salem Drugs has been our primary Pharmacy for many years and has provided the kind of personal service one doesn't get from a national chain. Port Wine, while offering many beverage choices available at other locations is a convenience for our Salem area community.
