I drove 80+ miles from NYC to have my pokemon cards appraised, I called ahead first ofc...Older gentlemen said they were worth $400Then I went back 2weeks later after my car broke down to sell them for extra cash and a Kid claimed he was the owner and the old man was blind & mis judged my cards...Offered me $50 bucks...Then I went back the next day and saw the old man that I saw the first time who is the actual owner where he gave me what they were actually worth....Kid tried to Scam me! Awful never going back!

Had a very great selection of pokemon cards! I didn't look through much of the store because I was only there specifically for pokemon, but it looks to have TONS of comics to choose from as well. Staff were kind and greeted upon us walking in and helped us fulfill our order.

Great little shop with a large selection. Noticed this the past few times I've been there. The only problem is getting some help. Walked in shortly after opening. 2 workers there were talking as I stood at the singles case for 10 minutes looking at them then back at the case (hinting I needed help) Only customer in the store, I didn't want to interrupt but I wasn't even acknowledged. I saw singles I was going to purchase but didn't even get any help. Walked out and they didn't say a word to me. Won't be back.

Really nice place ! My son plays magic cards ( which I know nothing about) however, the owner and employees are top notch ! It's a giant toy store for all ages. They actually set up a Atari 2600 , original NES etc. For all to play. It took me back to my childhood, and I bought a few baseball cards at below market price. I'm in my early 50's but felt like a kid again. Again, I know nothing about magic cards but there is so much more than that there. We will be taking the 45 drive from Pine Bush , it's worth it.

Great store and happy to see collector type stores are coming back. I have such a fond memory of them from when I was a kid. Defiantly a great spot to get the kids Pokémon cards. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place.

Not kid friendly. My son got ripped off. We have been customers for a long time, so this really upsets me. One employee is very unfriendly. I get it if you don't like your job, but don't take it out on your customers . Won't be going there ever again

This store has come to be one of the places i visit most on my time off. Its a place where despite the clutter of new items arriving and the ever growing play area makes even the most claustrophobic person feel calm. I kid when it comes to the clutter and area but am serious when it comes to the fun and tranquility this shop brings.I've been going to this shop for id say about 4 years, and In my frequent trips it never ceases to amaze me the growth in both a shop and community this place has become. Kids and adults of all ages show up to play an arrangement of board/card/video games and read/discuss comic books and movie iterations of heroes adored by all. The owners Emmett and Doug, as well as the workers Josh, Chris, Ed and the occasional person helping out have always worked hard to make this place feel more like a home to residence in and around the Hudson Valley / Tri-State area. I've seen friendships be created amongst the oddest of people who you'd never expect to let their inner nerd shine, mine including of course. (I mean odd in an endearing way as everyone who goes to Haven [as its known for short] is considered a friend.)This shop will continue to grow and from the looks of it, it will be getting bigger and better as the months and years go by. The amount of customers grow as the weeks go by and to that adds more to the family/community that haven has worked hard on building.So congrats to the last couple of years and all you're growth. . . and here's to many more.

I come here a lot, and I really like it there! They have tons of cool comics games, consoles, cards, pop figures and even more cool stuff. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and its a great place to hang out and meet people. The comics there are amazing too, theres old stuff, new stuff, and really good sales that come up! Probably the best comic store I’ve ever been to. 5 stars!

Awesome place!! So much awesome and retro stuff there. The owner and stuff are really friendly and will even verse you in matches on the retro console when they have throwback Thursday!! I would say it definitely is a Haven for retro gamers and those who like games like magic the gathering.

Great selection of comics and collectibles with decent prices.Most comic shops these days either have a small selection of back issues or price everything for the highest posted price online. Happily that’s not the case here, nice selection of stuff and if you’re buying to read, you’ll def walk away with a nice stack.

Been a long time customer of this shop. Have spent thousands of dollars here over the past years and today I called with a question asking if they have an adapter type cord for the original xbox that has a male controller port end and a female usb end. Simple question was also super nice about asking the question initially. Before I could even finish asking the question the guy on the phone interrupted me and said with attitude "nah we only sell whole consoles." Which then I replied "thanks for interrupting me and not letting me finish speaking and Im not asking you to split up a console Im just asking to see if you have this adapter". He replied with more attitude that again they don't split up consoles. Long story short the guy who talked to me on the phone today was extremely short and brisk with me giving me attitude from the start of the initial question and, I've never had a bad experience once with this shop. Always super nice and welcoming. Too bad things have changed. You lost a good customer.

Super cool Comic Book, collectables, trading card shop. Very cool, knowledgeable & helpful owners. Massive back issue collection. Long and short boxes to dig through for days. A great community shop. Owners get to know there customers and have great conversations. They do have in store gaming for certain TCC. NICE selection of Wall books to add to your prized collection. Video Games? Yep, they have that as well. Stop in and have some fun.

This is one of my favorite spots to go. Super nice people, if your thinking of going just go you'll love it. They have comics, video games, toys, and trading cards. I got a huge hall of GI joes with my father for a great price. Can't recommend this place enough!

This is a shop with not only positive, helpful and genuinely cool staff/owners, but they've cultivated a community of customers around them that are just as fun to be around. This is a place where new, returning and seasoned players can feel welcome and at home.P.S. Some guy in a PT Cruiser tried to kill me and my family please address this as I hear it's a lingering issue

Fantastic store. Friendly and very knowledgable staff. Lots of great games, records, toys, etc. The prices are super reasonable and fair plus they've got lots of second hand gems that you can find. Lastly, the owners are real fans that host D&D and various game nights.

Great shop! I found them VERY kid friendly! I took my 6 year old in, they took time with him, showed him a special comic book area just for kids... Now he's into Pokemon and cant wait go to back!

Haven for Heroes. Where does one even begin with this place…other than by saying that it is by far the best game store in the area, and one of the best I’ve been to in general. The sheer breadth of their offerings are surprising considering this isn’t a heavily populated area. The staff there have a strong commitment to creating delightful customer experiences and are more than willing to help you find whatever you need from their stock. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to play games, make friends, or just have a good time in general.

Highly recommenced, the owners are extremely nice and welcoming! A comic lovers dream, also have vintage video games that you don't have to sell a kidney for. They have a little bit of everything and the store is HUGE so you don't step on one another. I love it!

Large collection, friendly knowledge staff and more than fair prices. Only drawback is for sellers. They Make very low offers on comics and memorabilia, and don't judge.

Whatever you do stay away from this store. They are not kid friendly. I brought my five year old in for his birthday today to pick out a transformer comic and they were nothing but rude. First we get told don't kick an empty box and I brushed it off. Well not for nothing don't have empty boxes in your aisles. Second we get told we can't take comics out of their plastic covers. We aren't talking about expensive valuable comics either. We are talking about comics worth a few dollars in a box underneath a pile of dozens of other boxes.I will definitely never be back to this store. It's a shame, I was hoping to share the joy of bringing my kids to a comic store for their birthdays like I used to go to when I was a child.unbelievable!

It’s a comic book and gaming shop but they had vinyl lps they were clearing out. Everyone was very pleasant and laid back. Seems that there is a family of serious gamers who spend time here socializing and supporting each other. Heck, it is a better alternative to hanging out at a bar. Place is a tad cluttered and could use some reorganizing and such but hopefully that is on the agenda for the new year. Came away with some excellent vinyl for cheap. Spent a few hours sorting through boxes and drawers.
