No frills burger joint with surprisingly high quality. We didn't try the ice cream because it was too cold out, but it looked great. Cookies weren't made from scratch, but we'll let that slide. The burger was tasty and properly seasoned. The BLT chicken wrap was super satisfying. This place is so good for being such a small town hidden gem. The fries were good, super crispy, but must've been the bottom of the batch because they were all the small bits. Loved their Benny sauce.

We drove 2.5 hrs here , from central PA, bc I kept seeing their posts on my fb feed. The food they posted looked good. However, IDR seeing that they were just daily specials, and i didn't see anything from the FB posts listed on the menu. None of the cashiers mentioned any either. It wasn't terrible but probably not a trip we'd make often.They brought us our food but definitely weren't waitresses. No one checked in after we got our food or acknowledged us leaving, and it seemed like tables were expected to be cleaned by the customer as two beside us were dirty after people left.The place is small also , there's like 10 tables crammed in there and you're back to back with the person sitting behind you.

My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a second chance after we weren’t impressed with the first time we went. It seems appealing with the items offered on the menu and the place is usually busy. It is a bold claim to have the best burgers in the area. It was busy when we went. We waited for an hour for our food to find that our order was given to another table. We found out because another customer in line heard the staff talking about it when she was waiting to order. None of the staff came to tell us themselves. When we finally got our food, the server apologized and walked away. My boyfriend’s burger was cold as if it had been sitting a while. I tasted it for myself and we both agreed the beef hardly had any flavor and the sauce was the only thing you could actually taste. My wrap was okay and there was a very small serving on the side of fries. For what you pay at other local establishments, you get more for your money and better quality. I don’t understand the hype around this place.

Great find! Just like the name says, totally fresh. It was also quick and the ladies behind the counter were very nice.There was plenty of seating.The French fries are so fresh. The Benny burger (got a double) was juicy without being soggy. The cheese was perfectly melted. The chicken strips weren't overly battered and were moist without being greasy.

Delicious! Being from out of town, we were not aware of this local treasure. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Service was excellent. Though busy, staff was attentive, our order was correct, they even brought it outside to us. Outdoor seating was clean and had many shaded options on today’s sunny and warm day. 10/10. Would 100% recommend to anyone traveling this way from our home town. Thanks for the delicious affordable food!

Super friendly staff! Excellent menu selections, tons of yummy ice creams/desserts! Reasonable pricing as well. This isn't a fancy type resturant, it's geared towards family dining, with a low-key dining room, thay has a bit of a fast food vibe. It's definitely worth checking out!***I have only 1 negative thing to say, and it's why I did not give five all 5 stars in my review.. I purchased a slice of "rainbow" cake to bring home.... and it was absolutely horrible!!!!! Tasted like nail polish remover, also smelled like nail polish remover!?? My husband tried it, and agreed and was equally grossed out. It was the strangest thing... I think they need to not sell that because everything else was AMAZING!!!!

They have the best chicken noodle soup I've ever had.Small town restaurant with an eclectic menu- burgers to local dairy cream soft serve, nachos, salads, really good soup and beyond.They make everything fresh so this isn't fast food. Pickup time may be unpredictable so it's best to order and wait.The owner and business is also apparently really involved in the local community. Overall this is a really cool local restaurant.

This is a great, small town restaurant and the Ben's FRESH in the name reflects the food is fresh, not frozen. So don't expect an instant burger! And if you get take out, well when things end up sitting in containers, they might get soggy. I definitely recommend trying this place, but expect to wait. This place is always busy, and the staff is on the younger side....so mistakes seem to often happen. I would verify your order, and likewise the staff should be doing this. We got our receipt when the food came out, which showed chicken noodle soup, not the creamy chicken noodle I ordered. No big deal, that soup is still incredible, but I wanted to try the creamy version. However while waiting, a woman came in claiming "her entire order is messed up". It's unfair to a quality restaurant getting judged on preventable mistakes rather than the actual food served.

Stopped for lunch today. Nice little place with a gigantic menu. Had the falafel salad which my husband said was good. My son had no complaints about the kids chicken nuggets. I had the Caesar with crispy chicken. Chicken was really good, however the salad was overly dressed. I'd recommend getting dressing on the side. Kind of bummed we didn't get a chance to try any ice cream as they had extensive selections. Overall would recommend for a nice meal.

I live an hour away. I like this place so much that now Port Jervis= Ben's Fresh, and I subconsciously left my wallet there just to go back the next day 😅I'm a soup snob, and think their soups are the best I've had from a restaurant. They only offer in the wintertime however. Haven't tried the award winning Chilli yet.Also everything is fresh, not frozen! Huge quality difference. They have so much variety too- the soups, burgers, Thai rice bowls, salads, ice cream, cookies! And they close at 10. My wallet was returned without anything missing. I will make an effort to stop here anytime I'm passing through the area

I ordered a Benny burger and cannot have any type of milk so that means no cheese. I must have missed the cheese in the burger description and ordered a double benny burger for delivery. The man, the myth, the legend himself called me to verify himself that I didn’t want cheese because he knows I don’t get any on any of my food since I found out I have an allergy to it. Told me he was going to make me another burger without it. I very much appreciate the attention to detail and the fact that you remembered what I couldn’t eat.

A great chicken & burger place that won't stop pushing boundaries. The menu is so immense with their daily offerings it can be a little anxiety inducing to figure out what to order without FOMO, but basically anything you decide on will be good, so order away! Often busy, so wait times can be long, but never without reason or long enough to cause issue.

I was told 40 minute wait for pick up, so I gave it a half hour- picked up lukewarm food that has been sitting and waiting. Ordered their famous crispy chicken- breaded but not crispy? Mac and cheese is bland, coleslaw a mess. They offer a side of Benny sauce or gravy, so I took the sides of Benny sauce. Which was forgotten in the order. How? That’s the star of your show?? I work in the food industry and I understand how stressful it is. But this is CONSTANT anymore, regardless of where I order from. Everyone jacks their prices but lowers their quality. No one cares about what they’re providing customers anymore. Always forgetting stuff, giving thrown together dishes. Real shame and a real thorn in the side ordering $40+ worth of food (always including a tip) and not getting everything you asked for, or a hot meal. Over it. Do better.

Wife has waited over a year to do here. We live several hours away and happened to be driving back through that area from another trip. So we stopped. The meny does not do the food justice. If you look at they're pictures on Facebook to guage there food your better off. It's amazing food. And amazi ng deserts also. If your ever in the area definitely take the time to stop by and order some food.

Food is a 2/5 rather turn on the air fryer and cook something at home The service sucks Has some pretty slow people working in the front they can't count they can't speak loud enough and they're just not smart always a mess up always an issue when ordering delivery pick up is a 2/5 delivery a -1/5 they do not know how to prepare food for delivery the burger soggy the fries soggy food overall sucks sure the owner is going to give me a good reply. The big Pauly is a signature sub from Hess. Pretty pathetic you can’t come up with your own names, also was in a few nights ago, and your fresh burgers were still frozen in the middle. so you should just warn your guest that if they want a fresh, never frozen burger, don’t order a medium rare because it will be frozen. We took pictures of all the food. It looks like a three-year-old was in the kitchen making it.
