I just started using this or my dog as she stopped eating her regular food, so i had no choice but to look for an alternative. I compared the ingredients of Natural Hounds to the other raw meat diet I was giving my pet. The major difference is that NH food is cooked versus raw. I love that the only ingredients in this food is meat, organ meat, and vegetables; although the original turkey receipe does have brown rice so i dont buy that one. There's no reason for dogs to be eating grains, so I choose to buy their grain free varieties (beef, pork, lamb). The main reason for leaving off 1 star is that the vegetables are not organic. This is extremely important due to the toxins in the soil of root vegetables and the pesticides sprayed on conventional produce. I hope NH will switch to organic veggies so i can give them 5 stars! we eat organic and so should our pets. you can set up scheduled delivery for $10 per delivery. They also sell high quality dog treats at their stores which is only 100% protein, which is great. I'm looking forward to trying the new flavors coming soon.

My pup Zayda loves Natural Hounds Jerky! Her favorite flavor is the pork! \ The sizes portions are great! It’s so easy for her to chew! I love that it is made of just one simple ingredient! Highly recommend!

I always make it a point to stop at Natural Hounds for their delicious jerky. My dachshund loves the chicken and beef the best. He had a sensitive stomach but does really well with this jerky because it does not contain chemicals and additives like the mainstream “jerky” options for pets. If you are looking for a treat that is healthy and real meat, this is the best option!

What a wonderful place to get healthy and fresh dog food! We just got a puppy and the chicken jerky is so motivating our little pup is begging for it! Went down to Port to get more and Rick was amazing! Helpful, knowledgeable, and so welcoming! So many more choices and lots of ways to keep our puppy eating well….we will definitely be regulars! Loving Natural Hounds for my daughters service dog. The crunchy biscuits and natural chicken jerky treats are her favorites. The bags are huge and last for a while. And I have to say that the guys who run and own the store are super nice and helpful.

I love the idea of only human-edible ingredients. So far, we’ve only tried the chicken jerky treats. Our dog will do any of her tricks quickly, on command, when she knows she’s getting this treat. She loves it. We’ll be getting more of these and trying more products very soon. This store is always very clean and employees are super attentive and helpful.

I was extremely satisfied from the first time my dogs sampled their food. I have a very old Yorkshire terrier who I thought was near the end of his time with me. I gave him the original recipe formula and two weeks later his energy level was so much better. He was much more mobile. And very eager to eat every single time food was put his plate. Where as in the past he was very finicky about eating. I’m very happy with this line of dog food. The owners are very knowledgeable in what they are doing.

Love this place. My dog loves this food so much, he lifts his plate after every meal, to make sure he didnt drop any. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and always nice to my dog. The chicken jerky is my dog's favorite treat. (We doesn't want any other treat now.) The food though. It's amazing! The ingredients are so good! I would urge you to give this dog food a try, you will not regret it. Neither will your dog. #naturalhoundsforlife

My dog Rosie loves Natural Hounds! We’ve been members of their subscription service for over a year. They are so accommodating if we ever need to change delivery dates or quantities. And I love that you can actually see the real ingredients in the food, so I know I am feeding my puppy all good things. Natural Hounds is a new specialized store for your favorite furry family member. If we care about our own health, why shouldn’t we care about the health of our beloved pooches?! The owners are friendly and personable. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and of course dog-friendly. The food is organic and natural, no artificial ingredients and my pup loved it! I have a little westie who is often particular about what she eats, but she loves to eat the meals from natural hounds!! She didn’t love the biscuits I bought, but we’ll be back to try a different kind.

All 4 of my dogs love the Natural Hounds dog food and treats. I have noticed that they are healthier, in fact my Vet constantly remarks on their remarkable overall health. Prior to being on the Natural Hounds food, they had skin allergies and intestinal issues. All those problems disappeared once they started eating the natural food. What else is amazing is that the food is really cost effective. I was paying more money feeding them "high end" dog food bought at the local pet store which did not keep them as healthy. This is a wonderful investment in your dog's health.

My boxer Jake is allergic to most of the popular treats being sold at the big dog food stores. All the additives and chemicals they use hurts our best friends. It has been great to have an option that is all natural and free from harmful ingredients. I highly recommend trying this natural dog food it’s made a big difference in my Jakes health! My pitbull goes crazy for the meat jerky! She likes the beef but her hands down favorite is the pork. She loves it! Plus I give it to her because it is just meat with no additives or preservatives, not like traditional treats. I can’t wait to try the other flavors! I’m so glad I found this food for my puppy Biscuit. She has a sensitive tummy and this is top notch nutrition for her. She loves the jerky treats and I feel that she isn’t consuming harmful preservatives that would impact her health. My fur baby is beyond fussy when it comes to his food. I spotted the Natural Hound while on a visit to Port Jeff and figured I would give it a try. My pup loves it! I was so happy find not only a food that he enjoys, but one that is healthy and made with ingredients I can pronounce! I highly recommend Natural Hound human grade dog food for all the dogs in your life.

My husband and I were walking around down Port and came across Natural Hounds. We own a male husky who is an extremely picky eater and has a very sensitive stomach. After talking with the two gentleman about their dog food, we decided to give it a try. We bought one bag of their beef food for my adult husky. He absolutely loved it. He ate the entire dish without any stomach issues. We decided to go back and buy a 29lbs box fo food. This definitely was an unexpected find, but so glad we stopped in and chatted with the owners.

What a great experience shopping in this store. Came in with our dog. It was hot and they offered him some water. They also gave him a free sample of the Jerky which he loved!
