This may be my first review on a self car wash bay ever…I go to this car wash location 2-3 times a week, (except when it’s freezing temperatures out) and spend $3-$10 each time. I’ve been handwashing my cars for 20 years and I’ve been doing it the same way for 15 years… Never has anybody ever had a problem or said anything about it until today…I try to be as courteous as possible as to not impede the next person in line (if there ever is one). No loud music, no bucket washing or wiping down the car in the bay.I may or may not take my mats out to clean those, I start to self wash bay, depending on how dirty my car is, with $2-$3.. I rinse, soap, then end the timer off with the brush. That way, if I’m not quick enough to make it back, I still have a soapy brush to finish the remaining areas with (maybe another 10-30 seconds).If I did not complete what I was doing, I’d restart the wash with another few dollars and finish cleaning the car.Well today, it seems like I was being watched.. parked the car, went to get change from the change machine, take my mats out, started the wash.. as soon as the timer went out and the “attendant”, I’m assuming he is because he never identified himself as anything, saw the brush in my hand and immediately told me that I’m supposed to turn it on, in a very rude way. I took maybe 10 seconds before I made the walk back to hand up the brush and to start the power washer and in the 15 seconds it took for the timer to stop and me putting the brush back to start a new cycle, he rudely told me to start the machine about 4 times… and stared me down until I put literally another dollar in … I’ve never been treated this way at a self car wash before… you’ll never see me back there again.

I thought that the price was reasonable and the florescent neon light show with crazy color soaps and protective coating was pretty wild. And free vacuum was a added bonus. This is my new spot for washing my car. Absolutely loved it.

Where else can you wash and vacuum your 28ft box truck yourself. Honestly first car wash that I've been able to do this. Great price and very comfortable moving the brush and pressure washer around the truck, also great space for coming in and out with my truck.

This is my favorite carwash. The vacuums work so well and they provide cleaning spray and microfiber towels. The car wash actually gets the dirt off of your car.

This was always a great car wash but is a million times better now that it includes 2 dog washing rooms. You get a professional tub with a ramp, hose, dryer, all the amenities. You use a credit card in the wall mounted machine much like in the self serve car wash. You wash your dog, tidy up and go. There's even a lock on the door so they can bolt and run on you! Also a place to hook up another dog if you have more than one. In my experience, I usually spend about $14 to completely wash and blow dry a Labrador retriever. And they actually enjoy going here, as opposed to not being too happy being left at a groomer all day. For low maintenance dog washing, it's a great deal.Update: October 2022: Went to the Port Ewen Scrub a Dub to wash my dog. Put my money in the machine, wet my dog down, only to find the shampoo choices were ALL empty. So now I had a wet dirty dog and it's cold out. Went to the office area-- crickets--not a soul around. I found a sticker next to the office door with a phone number to "call for assistance". I called, left a message, said I was extremely upset about the situation. I was pleasantly surprised to get a callback within minutes from Doug (the owner or manager?). He was extremely nice and apologetic and met me at the scrub a dub in minutes. He filled the shampoo reservoirs and made sure all was working properly, then treated my dog to a complimentary dog wash. I was very impressed with Doug's quick return call, arrival at the scrub a dub, friendly nature, and handling of the problem. Had it not been for how he so aptly remedied this issue, I probably wouldn't have bathed my dogs there again, which would be a shame because it's so preferable to bathing big dogs at home.Doug shows pride in his position and this business.And I have clean, shiny dogs again! 👍

Love the services and the quality of the washes. I love using the app for it. I love getting free washes. I wish they had their wash club working. I take my dog all the time to the dog wash and always take my car right after. I would love to have the wash club to save some money since it's usually the place I choose to go. The larger wash in Kingston is great but I prefer the touch-less is much better than the others since they scratch my headlights and roof rack.

Cleanest dog wash I ever went to lately I used to go to the one in New Paltz but this one I feel is always stocked with the doggy shampoo and it's clean

Our dog really loves to find smelly things and roll in them before you can stop her. When this happens we head straight to the dog wash and in 10 minutes or so she’s clean again (but annoyed that we’ve removed her new perfume). Haven’t had to try the “skunk wash” shampoo setting yet, but am very glad to know it’s there…

Really not sure if I should have said I "used" the service.I couldn't. The touchless wash requires that you use the app, which was too old for my phone, so I couldn't install it.

Equipment failure, no attendant. Stopped for a quick wash before an appointment. After waiting 10 min for the car ahead of me to exit, and taking payment of course, the wash bay door would not open. No notification there was a problem, no attendant to resolve it. The sign simply said "wait". After 5 more mins of waiting, I finally called the number listed, and was told (not so nicely either) it was broken! To back up and get in line at another bay. Now in that next line there were two more washes ahead of me, so that took another 20 mins. No refund, no comp wash, no token for a future wash, nothing but 45 mins wasted and I missed my appointment. Lesson learned, dont go where there are not any employees working at the car wash. Won't ever use that place again.Service: Auto detailing

This is the slowest car wash I've ever been in. It's definitely not cheap, and the results are not amazing.But you know what? It went past slow and inefficient and came out the other side to deliberate and premium. I felt like the slowly rotating brushes and flaccid jets of water really SAW me, you know? I feel like they just weren't concerned about cleaning my car, but that they were really getting to know me. Really taking a good look inside my car, learning about my personality, my disappointments, my ambitions.I feel seen for the first time in my life.5 stars.

My friend recommended this wash to me for washing my bus, and am I glad I listened to him! That large clearance cleaning bay is absolutely wonderful and was able to fit all of my buses for a wash!! I did have a question though, are we able to purchase additional soap to use? Thanks!

I have never been to a self serve car wash before so I was worried it was going to be complicated. But once I pulled up to the bay, the machines explained everything. It was very convenient. You can pay cash, card or on the app. I went after dark and it was well lit.

This car wash was a weekly ritual site for me for years when I lived close-by in Connelly. The bays are almost always clear and clean of previous customers waste or mud. The bill exchangers are always in operation and working correctly and the soap, I find, comes out in a good ratio with the water leaving the car clean as can be.The new vacuum station is very modern and futuristic in appearance and past customers will note how much more space the back parking lot has now due to the change around.The dog wash is also a nice feature to have and I’ve used this one two times. I am not the biggest fan of the soap quality or quantity on the dog shampoo spray, but it is nice to have this here instead of doing it at home and cleaning up after the mess that surely will ensue. Also didn’t like the dryer option for my dog was still damp upon getting back in the car. Par for the course, not the establishments fault.I am only taking away one star for the slight improvement needed in terms of water filtering; I am meticulous with my cars appearance and if the car isn’t dried properly with detailer spray, the water leaves some spots.Overall, great place to take care of the car and be in peace without loud patrons too close for comfort or faulty machines.

This is so much better than washing your dog at home that requires a lot of cleanup. My dog actually like to take a bath when we go here. Cost is reasonable and they have a disinfect feature before you start.

Remove your antenna and fold in your mirrors if you’re using the soft touch went there early morning there wasn’t an attendant but the place is open 24 hours my antenna was broken off however I called the number spoke to Doug and he’s willing to replace it there is a sign that says to remove These things I didn’t notice until after the fact however they are friendly and they answer the phone if I’m in the area again I will try this place the dryer wasn’t the greatest however I always hand drive my car after I wash anyways other than that this is a good place I will post pictures if it lets meServices: Vacuuming, Auto interior vacuuming

Brought my bus here for a wash, the process was very easy and I'm thankful they have the big clearance Bay on the left for large vehicles like mine! Would recommend and will definitely be returning soon!

Not a bad car wash and not great self serve bays are almost always out of one chemical. Do not use soft touch when its anywhere near freezing. It will screw your paint up.

I bought $15 wash which included a token for 3min vacuum, not enough time to vacuum front/rear floor of my Toyota Prius . Disappointed that there was not 7 1/2 or 12 1/2 min to complete my vacuuming.

Probably the best car wash in the area. 10$ gets you 22 minutes of wash time. The water pressure is spot on, all the wash settings actually function like they should.

You have a choice here automatic car wash or self spray wash. They even have a puppy wash. There vacuum system offers to different wands and a air sprayer to help clean your mats.

Just came through the touchless car wash and my car looks just like it hasn't been touched. Still dirty! I'm going outside now to wash it in the driveway. Don't waste your money! If I could give this zero stars I would
