Whoa, whoa, whoa! What great service. Michael immediately greeted me outside upon seeing my flat even though he was on his way to do a job. He was very personable. Jeff, Orsheá and Walter were behind the desk and also, immediately took care of me. They were compassionate when they saw me with my two little children and were very professional. They made sure to get me in and out as to not allow the effects of a flat ruin my day and night. Thank you SO much! With technology constantly hindering person to person communication, service like this has become more challenging to come across. I am very much appreciative for their hospitality 🙏🏼 and definitely recommend others to pay them a visit for their car tire needs!

‘Another great experience at Mavis Discount Tire in Port Chester today. Alex (Service Desk) and Jose (Technician) were both really helpful in resolving an issue I’d had at another test location, attempting to update the NY State emissions test on our 2002 Passat. They quickly solved the problem created by an updated NYS system communicating with our older car’s emission data. Getting the test completed successfully was a tremendous relief after my previous day’s frustration. Next time,this will be my first stop! Alex & Jose are great representatives for Mavis; they were helpful, friendly and efficient. I left happy!

Amazing time at Mavis Discount Tire at Port Chester. I usually get nervous when going to mechanics as I have had mechanics in the past take advantage of me not knowing a lot about cars. But, on Feb 27th I came in to Mavis and had the best customer service experience from Walter and Alex. I really appreciated how Walter was able to tell me what kind of work might need to be done and the price for each service based on the concerns I gave on my car before it was worked on. Alex was so cool and friendly. He was so transparent and clear about what was done to my car and the cost of the service. These two had amazing customer service skills and made me feel like a valued customer. I am 100% coming back and hope to run into these two again.

I pulled up last minute before close. On my way to get my daughter from the airport. My tire light came on, and there was no nail nor damage. They were kind enough to take a look and find out. I had some corrosion on the inside of the tire. Just so thankful, they didn’t brush me off. I would recommend anyone to come here anytime. Great service good people.

I have been coming to Mavis for about a year and have replaced all my tires with them overtime. Recently, I had my Continental tire punctured; I was able to drive to Mavis where they looked at it and tried to plug it, however, the hole was to big (a large piece of plexiglass was stuck.) They replaced it with my spare tire and ordered the new one which was replaced in no time the next day.Their prices are competitive, and their staff (Jeff) is very helpful, accesible, and competent. I would definitely recommend Mavis for any tire related issues!

Had to get a replacement tire for a flat on my daughter’s SUV. I walked in Saturday morning, and Jeff the manager helped me promptly and super politely, and the tire was in from the warehouse by noon. He called me as promised, and when I said I couldn’t come in until the next day, he said it was fine, and serviced me perfectly the next day. I’m really pleased with the service and would heartily recommend Mavis, with an extra shout-out to Jeff.

Great place! Quick service! I realized last minute my inspection as well as new car plates were expiring and Mavis helped me out big time. I didn’t have an appointment set but they were still willing to help (unlike other places) again I’m aware I was a little last minute but that’s why I’m so greatful for mavis service! I brought my car in with a flat a little over a week ago. I knew it was about time for new tires, so I purchased a new set and had them installed. Initially, the job was painless and affordable. I would have given them 5 stars. However, just a week later I ended up with a flat. I brought my car back in, explained the situation, and they said they would change it free of charge. Within a few hours, they called to let me know the tire had a nail in it. It was fixed and ready for pick up. Again, I was pleased with the quality of service. It goes downhill from here, unfortunately.I went to pick my car up this morning, after the flat repair. When I got into the car, I immediately noticed that the same tire (RF) was STILL FLAT. The psi had decreased from 10 when I brought it in the day before, to 9 the next morning… this leads me to believe the tire wasn’t touched. Also, my car was parked in the back lot overnight. It makes absolutely no sense that an employee moved my car after service, and didn’t see the TPMS indicator.I went back into the store, pointed the issue out, and it was fixed. At this point I was feeling really frustrated. I don’t understand what happened. It makes no sense that the same exact tire that was allegedly changed, was once again flat, at almost an identical PSI…When I questioned the guy at the front desk, he blamed it on “American sensors being sensitive” but that makes no sense. The story doesn’t add up. He tells me that they found a nail, changed the tire, and yet it’s still somehow flat? I don’t get it. And my time feels wasted.On the bright side they fixed it for free. At the end of the day, I understand mistakes happen and things get overlooked. I just would have appreciated some honesty. It doesn’t feel good to walk out of a business knowing that you have been giving a BS story and wasted your time. I’m going to attach the photos below of my tire when I first brought the car in, and the tire pressure when I picked it up. I’ll be going next door to Hank Mays from now on.

This Mavis replaced one of my new tires after sidewall failure, and rebalanced all four wheels. They got the replacement tire quickly and did the work quickly.They used glossy white wheel weights on my flat dark grey wheels. They charged me for a TPMS service when I don’t have wheel sensors. They charged me for tire recycling when I took the damaged tire with me for a manufacturer warranty claim.Be sure to check your receipt before leaving! They did not show it to me before asking for payment. There may be poor communication between the service writer and techs.

The crew at this Mavis is remarkable!!! I came in at 930 am today for 2 tires mounted and balanced and an alignment and walked out before noon with 4 tires, mounted and balanced, alignment, completely new brakes and an oil change and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Vaughn and Sebastian we’re extremely helpful and the service was lighting fast. Can’t thank them enough!!!

These people are thieves, I went to have a sensor changed on a tire and when I returned to get the car I had the same problem and what they told me was that I had another bad sensor, so I go and check my car and they marked all 3 perfectly. and he who changes does not. and they told me that it was another sensor and that's why it didn't tick, they didn't want to answer me, terrible service

My fianceé called to make a State Inspection appointment specifically for the one Saturday she's off a month. But when she arrived at the appointment Mavis said they didn't have appointment and gave her slot to someone else after she drove 30 minutes through the driving rain. There was no offer to make good, just a vague mention about a potential slot the next day, but she works the whole rest of the month as mentioned in the initial appointment call. Save your money, there are better auto shops even just on Boston Post Road.

On a Saturday, Mavis saw me right away and was able to fill my hole in my tire immediately I assumed it was going to take a lot longer and be a lot more expensive. I would highly recommend.

The manager (Alex) and my mechanic (Mauro) at the Mavis Portchester location were absolutely fantastic. I was in a tight spot with my tire issue and they took care of me right away with class and professionalism, definitely above and beyond what I was expecting, and pretty much made me a loyal customer for life. Our main car that is used to go into NYC for work had a nail in the treads of the left rear tire. Obviously Monday being a holiday we couldn’t find a place that was open so we could get the tire fixed before going to work on Tuesday.I looked on line and found Mavis. They contacted me and offered to fix it at our home. To do that was too expensive. The man on the phone advised us that the PC location was open and if we could get the car to their location it would be fixed at a very reasonable cost.Their employe that handled our situation was a super nice young man who’s name was Jeff. He was polite, informative, and had our tire repaired and had us on our way in under 30 minutes! I don’t know what Jeff’s position is but Mavis Tire repair service needs more people like Jeff. He’s the reason why I gave Mavis in Port Chester a 5 star rating. Many thanks Jeff for helping us through a very stressful situation.

Jeff at Mavis was terrific to deal with. Had a flat tire and he asked me to bring the car in to see if they could repair it. Sidewalls were destroyed so the tire was beyond repair. He was able to order new tires for me on the same day and get them installed in just over 1 hour. Jeff and his team did a great job of communicating and their workmanship was great.

I had an amazing experience at Mavis Port Chester thanks to Jeff. Despite it being the end of the day, he welcomed me with a smile. He was efficient and attentive and quickly fixed the problem with my tire. He went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service, and all in the very last 30 minutes of the day to boot. I went into Mavis in Port Chester because the tire pressure was very low in one tire. I was greeted by a very nice person named Jeff. He quickly and efficiently found the problem. Within a few minutes he located a screw in the tire, removed it and plugged it. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. Not to mention they were about to close. I called the Port Chester location before going to verify price and availability for 4 Michelin Cross Climate II all-season tires. They didn't have the tires I need immediately in stock, but arranged to have them delivered in one hour from their warehouse. They called an hour later and I headed right over.As a retired auto shop teacher, I always watch when having any service done on my cars. Their staff were clearly expert and practiced in what they were doing. I was impressed with the four-wheel alignment they offered for $100 with a $20 discount. They used a Hunter laser alignment machine that was light years more advanced than what we had in the 80's. The tech showed me the before and after caster, camber and toe-in readings.Jeff, the service manager, and his team did a great job. My 2019 Chevy Bolt with 45,000 miles drove better with the upgraded tires than when it was new, and it doesn't pull to the right any more.I will definitely see Jeff in the fall for a set of snow tires for my 2019 Chevy Colorado.
