La placita - Great produce.....But please don't expect anything to be organic. If you need lots of large inexpensive vegetables this is your place.They also have an excellent selection of sausages and chorizo with many other meats and frozen seafood products.Lots of spanish canned and dried goods.Friendly service too.Highly recommended!

Went in there for the first time a week ago. They have great authentic products that are hard to find anywhere else. Their produce looks fresh and the place is overall well organized and clean. My only negative comment is that they need to work a little better at social distancing. I was at the cash register which is small and the cashier was insisting that the other customer come and start putting his groceries on the belt even though he would be shoulder to shoulder with me. It made me very uncomfortable. She was so insistent that she stopped ringing me up to lean over to get his attention.I would like to go back and try again maybe a bit later in the day. Perhaps they will be less stressed and follow the social distance rules a bit better.

Very disappointed with how the cashiers handle questions and interact with customers. When I asked the cashier where a product was in the store, she rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders. When asked again she asked another employee who acted confused. When I finally was told the aisle, I said I checked that aisle already and couldn’t find it. She did not seem interested in helping because she did not reply. Thanks a lot.

3.5 🌟Great little local store with latin american products, but the cashier's aren't friendly. They have full on personal conversations to who ever is bagging instead of the customer. I dont think everyone needs to hear about how you went out to a party and barely made it to work because you drank too much.

Sweet little market on Main St, Port Chester, NY on the CT border! Some interesting and unusual South of the US fruits, veggies and spices. Also, semi-exotic meat, fish products! Nice people.
