Very poor customer service! Waited over ten minutes while team member was 20 ft away talking to delivery man. She was told by another employee she had customers and stated “ya I know.” Squeaked the pig for service twice and still nothing.When she finally came to check me out I stated that” I thought the customer was always first(after working retail for 25 yrs), she stated” well actually you people wouldn’t get the stuff you need if I didn’t talk to him”. “ Him “was the Coca Cola delivery man.She threw my change and receipt at me, and said Have a BLESSED DAY.I asked her name and she hesitated but finally told me “ Susan” . I said thank you and walked out.Won’t go there ever again unless it’s an emergency will go to weedsport instead where it’s cleaner more organized and the employees are fantastic.

I just love going into a store and being badgered by the store manager about the new mask mandate. I wish she’d spend more time fixing her store and the pricing on the shelves then bothering her customers. It’s a small town full of an older generation that just want to be left alone.

They have a great selection of mostly everything you need. Seasonal selections for every holiday. Beer, soda, cereal to medicine, motor oil and towels. The staff are usually nice and helpful and It's the best place for cheap drinks and snacks in Port Byron.

Some of the workers here are pulling a scam on customers. They charge you twice for items almost every time. And/or they charge you a higher price of an on sale item . They then ask if you want your receipt,or don't offer a receipt at all. No receipt,no way for you to know you were charged twice,or too much. They then correct the double charge or over charge "mistake" at the end of the night and pocket the extra money they scammed off people.Be careful shopping here. Be sure to always ask for your receipt and check it carefully because it's very highly likely you were charged a higher price or charged twice. As a test, I kept track of my receipts after shopping here. Out of 10 times shopping here,8 out of those 10 times I was actually charged twice for the same item,or over charged. That's no accident,it's a scam!

This was my first stop here... We came over to see my daughter and I thought hey lets get some things and take supper over... So we popped in here and picked up Pizza, Chips and Soda and then headed over to my daughters or Pizza night. They have a great selection of foods, everyday needs and household goods!!! No need to run to Auburn when you only need a new things, its right here at DG!!!

Love shopping Dollar general! No matter which one I visit employees are always there to greet you and unlike other store most items you can find right away​,is always a plus! D.G. Don't move the whole store around on you. For that I Thank You!!!

It's your basic dollar General. I only went there once looking for ant spray in the summer when they didn't have any at the local grocery store. They had it and cheaper that it would have been at the other place.

Hard to keep a conversation going when the register workers are working on own things on the side of the register. Didnt seem like they pay attention to me as a customer. They didnt have drinking water.

Well I wasn't pleased with this store I was up at register for ten min and no one come to cashe out there was ringing and they didn't even answer that.. I seen two women employees just standing in the aisle and they still chose to ignore I was at counter.. so I left I won't be back again that's for sure

There was only one person running the check out and 7 people waiting in line many with large grocery carts i said out loud that this is ridiculous and a customer behind me said this is normal its always like this . The store was a mess too shelves in disarray
