Beautiful little side of the road Eatery. Family owned and operated. Delicious burgers, awesome fries wonderful frickels (fried pickles) and nice selection of draft beer including local offerings. They have a nice outdoor seating area which can be a blast when weather is good. Highly recommend and will most likely drop by again in the future. Cheers!

Best staff and food on HWY 97. Just off the Delaware River, great summer outdoor patio with music, special holiday events are a charming mix of locals and tourists just being happy and chill.The fish and chips (seasonal) are to die for, but everything we’ve had has been delicious.The wait staff and bartenders are really good at their jobs, and also at connecting with their patrons for good conversation or letting you have your solitude as a table.Very reasonable prices, and the brunch and “two for $20” type deals ((of which there are a few!) are outstanding savings for a large group or family.Love this place!

Great place to grab lunch (or any meal) with the added plus of a great outdoor bar serving your favorite cocktails! The outdoor patio area is large with plenty of seating options from tables to Adirondack chairs. There is also seating available inside with another bar area and air conditioning. The Outpost Team was fantastic! Took time to answer any questions we had on the menu and also checked on us often to ensure everything was in order. The owners are great! Went out of their way to make sure our experience there was satisfactory.The menu has plenty of options. Portion sizes are large and food was excellent! Definitely will be stopping back any time we are traveling in the area! Highly recommend you try!As a note: You may see this place listed as The River Restaurant and Bar on Google Maps. This is incorrect. If you “zoom In” you will see The Outpost listed. The Outpost is correct.

We spent the entire day on the water rafting and arrived at the Outpost starving. Paige was amazing. She made great recommendations and was incredibly kind. We can't wait to go back.

I've been here twice so far. Honestly there isn't much bad about it. Yes, the first time was during fathers day weekend and expected a wait. But just recently went back and our waitress forgot about us which she totally admitted. We were fine with it as we were just relaxing and were in no rush to get out. The food I have had here has been delicious and the staff are friendly.

Awesome place, family friendly, outdoor seating and music was awesome with Nitecap band.Kid-friendliness: Corn hole was being played by families. Everyone was respectful and the ages of patrons ranged from 2 to 80. This is truly a family friendly place.

This place has a cool atmosphere inside and outside. The service is always good. We've been here 3 times and each time we had something different, so 6 different meals off the menu, and every time our food was great. I was nervous to order the steak quesadilla because when I have had it at other places the meat was chewy but it definitely was not chewy here. We highly recommend.

here for lunch on a Sunday with our two kids. The grounds were beautiful, everything was new and clean. They had a great outdoor space with plenty of seating, an awesome bar area and a corn hole area which kept the kids busy. The staff was welcoming and service was great. They had a $1 wing special with various flavors and they were all delicious. All the food was fresh and tasty. Our waitress was very attentive and a sweetheart. We all enjoyed our meals. I had the spicy bird which was delightful. The drive up and back to NY were gorgeous with amazing views of the Deleware river from Hawk’s nest. Definitely will be coming back in the summer.

Spent the day at Skinners Falls with our dogs and then headed out on 97 and came across The Outpost. They definitely didn’t disappoint! Got us a table outside real fast and the dogs were welcomed. A gentleman sitting at the bar brought over water for the dogs!! Service was great and the food was very good. Prices are more than fair and beer on tap is cold! We will definitely be back.

My Sister and my Nephew frequently go but I had never been until recently. I will be returning. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere (we sat outside on a beautiful day). Good was good! Wings were big and plump, not the skinny little (bird legs? 🤣) Some places serve. Drinks were reasonable, and free apples! Great place to stop on a motorcycle run. Saw all different types of bikes (we were there for hours) and this is not what I would call a biker bar at all. Just that it sits on a road that you see dozens to hundreds of them go by on a spring day like we were there for. Also saw several families with kids stop to eat. Just an overall fun place to sit with friends and loved ones to dine and perhaps indulge in an adult beverage or two.They have live music there from what I understand, every Friday and Saturday? Don't quote me on that but I did see an outdoor stage. I am pretty sure that's not a thing in the colder months though. Check their website to be sure. I do plan to return and catch some local music. I love supporting the local music scene. Go have some fun. Hear a band. Eat out among some people. Stop using door dash or delivery for a meal. Enjoy life. We all need human interaction and socializing sometimes. Enjoy and thanks for reading.

Not for us. Some nice people working but didn’t get what we asked for with burgers nor wings. Nice it’s a family / friend spot, but I’m sure that’s why ratings are as high as they are. Not overpriced. Don’t recommend unless you have no where else to go. Not a place we’ll return. The best burger spot in the east side of the country!! If your stomach is sensitive to grease, I’d avoid the onion rings. That being said, it is reaaaally crispy and delicious lol.Their burgers are thick and have the meatiest flavor I’ve ever tasted in a burger. Think Shake Shack but much much meatier and so much better. Food takes a while to come out, but good food comes to those who wait. Love their outdoor seating area and sometimes they have live music!

Dinner was good, service was outstanding, Olivia was fantastic! Friendly, kind, very attentive and was hustling all night! Nice to see someone with great work ethic. Band Was great. Had a good time !
