My friends and I definitely had a blast over the weekend. The staff & owners were very friendly and helpful. Even though there was a miscommunication on our reservation, but I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason because the location we were put in was spacious and we loved it. We normally camp at another site for years, but unfortunately this year with covid they decided not to open this year. So decide to try a different one. We were skeptical about coming to Jerry's because of the reviews, but I'm glad that we decided to chance and I tell I can't wait to come back next year.Bathrooms: they have hot water showers which is A+ in my book. Has far as the cleaness of the bathrooms they do try their best keep it up with ,but I feel if people where clean and had considerations that it's a shared bathroom then it would be easier for the staff to maintain a cleaner bathroom .

I’ve been to Jerry’s many times over the last 10 years but this was the last time unfortunately. The two stars are for the river :)Pros: great location, relaxed rules, and riverfront.Cons: dirty bathrooms, extremely overpriced firewood.Camping isn’t supposed to be all nice and clean but they should still maintain their bathrooms. Specially in this COVID19 times. The bathrooms were disgusting for 16+ hours before someone cleaned it. Given the current health crisis, they should clean the bathrooms multiple times during the day.

Honestly, booking was very easy and Gloria was very pleasant. The views make it worth the trip however there was a very large group of people with complete and total disregard for other campers. Blasting music and using some kind of microphone/sound effects from morning til the next morning. All night long. The owners claim to have rules and regulations but nothing was done to stop the rude &$$holes who ruined it for so many people. Not to mention fireworks going off all day and night. this could be such a nice place but the owners need to follow through the rules put in place. We had to buy firewood (not a huge deal) because they claim you can’t bring your own yet they allow fireworks???? Will find a better place in the future.

I have been going here since 2020 and had never had a bad experience until this past weekend. They have a lot of things they should re-evaluate if they want a future for this place. First, the lady at the front desk is VERY disrespectful. She called my friends and I stupid over a misunderstanding we had about the check-in, made racist comments towards another friend of mine, and threatened to use a whip on us. Second, the bathrooms are actually DISGUSTING. There’s cobwebs all over the showers and in the toilet stalls. I’m not a picky person at all and I could care less about that stuff but their bathrooms are at the point where it wouldn’t even pass an inspection…9/10 that i go to use the toilet, the little trash cans are over flowing with nasty, used toilet paper, the toilet seats are always so gross that I’m disgusted to even hover over to use it. The last time I was there, I went to wash my hands and the water came out brown…I thought it was just that sink so I went to the other one and it did the same thing. Do they actually expect people to brush their teeth or even wash their hands in that water??? Also, there is no area in the women’s bathroom to get changed after a shower, because they removed the curtain that was up, leaving no privacy whatsoever. Third, their “system” for reservations is a NOTEBOOK. I think they should look into investing in at least a tablet or something for better organization. My friend and I went to the lady that works there to reserve for Labor Day weekend and before going, we called to confirm and it turns out she had reserved us for Labor Day 2024….I was able to look past the bathroom situation since some of my friends have trailers but after being disrespected by the elder lady at the front desk, I would rather not return.

Dispite the bad reviews, my family booked our weekend here. We had a very big group. The workers gave us a very large site (on brookside) with more than enough room for all of us and our tents. No water or electric hook ups. (Which we wish we knew before we came) but made the most of it. The bathrooms aren't the cleanest... but the staff is in multiple times a day cleaning! You're camping in the woods! You will get dirt on your feet and track mud around. Fyi no service for t-mobile.

I just called Jerry’s five minutes ago. Looking for a site for this weekend. The first thing the woman said was “you certainly don’t plan well this is Labor Day weekend. People book a year in advance” and hung up on me. I called back to say that was really rude. She she said oh well. I can’t believe people are this rude and they’re in business. Really sad. Is that what it means to be family owned and operated I don’t know but I made sure to post right away. Today is August 30 at 10:02.

Great location for camping! Love coming during the week when it is quieter! You are able to enjoy the views and river to yourself. The wash house still needs improvement. It is very dirty and is in need of a lot of bleach.

If I could give 0 star, I would! Except, I will say, Gloria was very nice and the views are wonderful! But if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, DO NOT come here!!! This was my second year and again, a large group of campers next to me and my teenage kids blasted music and fireworks until 4am and started again at 7am!!! Unbelievable!!! My complaints fell on deaf ears!!! I won’t be coming back and will not recommend them to anyone!

I give 1 star because the views were pretty. Other than that, I had no idea how to get in contact with someone if there was a situation. They staff left before 6pm and there was no email or alternative number to call. The first night, the campers up a ways blasted music until 4am. The next night, the campers across from us decided to take very large speakers and blast music while making sounds on MICROPHONES. I don’t know who they thought they were performing for but it started around noon and went until way past midnight. Needless to say, If you want a relaxing getaway in nature don’t come here. There’s nothing relaxing about it when they don’t regulate noise.

Amazing location and natural beauty. Staff will be extremely helpful when treated with common decency. This is a campground so don't expect to be completely secluded. Don't come here if you have a problem with other people having fun. KITTATINY STINKS

We love this place. Our first time here was last year and as a group of 15, it gives us the secludedness we need. beautiful views and campsite right on the river. can’t ask for more. We will return every labor day!

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP. this campground does not have noise rules or a curfew. there was a family of over 50+ people signing AWFUL karaoke for 48 HOURS. this is not an exaggeration they had professional speakers on throughout the entire night and morning into the following night ending around 6am. I did not get a wink of sleep. They SAY they have wifi but they do not. not sure why the campground was $25 per person PER NIGHT because it was filthy, the bathrooms were DISGUSTING. there was no map of the sites at all and no service in the entire 10 mile radius. not exaggeration. Never going here again. staff was super weird and rude and not helpful at all. the river is cool but you can easily go to the river and save your time money and energy going to a real campsite.

Despite all the reviews that were posted, we had a lovely weekend at Jerry’s! We booked additional people after we originally booked. We were booked for two sites, one river, one not. When the staff realized we were a big group, they accommodated us on one site near the stream (every kids… and adults dream). The staff were so pleasant, friendly, helpful and informative! For being a campground, there was no litter and the outdoors were clean. For all the complaints about the bathrooms, you’re camping, it’s not a 5 star hotel. I can tell you one thing, the staff were constantly cleaning the bathrooms. Mud is expected. You’re outside, there’s dirt, there’s water, morning dew, on a river and stream. I would certainly recommend this camp site. Well priced. Great weekend spent in the outdoors with no cell phone service (Verizon, T-Mobile) to allow to completely detach from life. No water or electric hook up but that didn’t put a damper on our weekend! Thank you for a great weekend full of relaxation, fun and memories that will last a life time.

It's in a good location on the Delaware River. They have raft rentals which they will take 4 miles up the river and drop you off, we opted to use our raft and drove up. Would recommend to drive up further to get more time, the trip took only about 3.5 hours. Back at camp we built a fire but the wood they have for purchase was in really big pieces, bring an axe or maul to split it further. The wood was on the moist side so it took a while to get hot. They have a bathroom with 2 stalls for women and 2 stalls and urinal for men. there is also showers available. The hot water is really hot be careful! There are picnic tables and fire rings. There were these shelters which we put our cooler in to keep it out of the elements. Some campers were on the river side down below, we were on top. To get down to the river you need to use the mud path, would be nicer and safer if they could put a stone staircase. Was pretty difficult to traverse up and down especially at night and a few drinks in ya 🤣. There are water spickets and electric on some sites. There was a 2 night minimum and 25 per person which kind stunk cause I only stayed 1 night 😕. Well Hope this helps you. Have fun!

My favorite place to camp and hit the river. Been coming here 40 years! Staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Sites are spacious and beautiful. Good equipment. If you want to camp 3 feet away from your neighbor and listen to kids cry all night, please go to the other commercial places. If you wanna have an awesome time with some awesome people, go to Jerry's.

This was my first time staying at Jerry's. We had a good time but I probably wouldn't go back. Some Pro's and Con's below:Pros:-We'd originally booked a two-night stay and were told over the phone that there were no refunds, however when we pulled in on Friday we mentioned we probably would be leaving early due to incoming thunderstorms. They were cool about it and only charged us for one night, requesting that if we ended up staying, we come back to pay.-We got an escort directly to our campsites.-It's a very relaxed operation - "anything goes."-One of our friends rented a small RV for the weekend and even though our site wasn't designated for that, the staff was cool about letting him park it in our spot.-The bathrooms were easily accessible and relatively clean. I was surprised based on lots of the reviews I read. The women's room was well stocked with toilet paper and soap, running sinks, flushing toilets and two shower stalls, however my counter part said the men's room was really bad, and he's got a much lower standard of clean than I do, so that's something to consider.Cons:-The campsites are *very* close together, so you'll see/hear your neighbor's every move. If you're looking to be in secluded wilderness, this is not the place.-A friend spent $130 on firewood from Jerry's directly, but it was all damp, which made for making and keeping a fire difficult. Felt like a waste of money.-Some nearby campers decided to set off fireworks late into the night, which were really loud (something to consider if you've got kids or plan to bring your dog). One set took off side-ways and nearly hit our camp, which was upsetting and potentially very dangerous. No one from the campgrounds ever came by to regulate anything, so that was disconcerting.-The two sites we rented had tons of brush and leaves to be cleared out. We didn't have a rake or leaf blower so it was annoying to spend the time clearing out spaces for the tents. We were there in late June, but it seemed like no one had been through to clear anything out since the fall.----We didn't get to do any of the rafting or canoeing they offer, but it seems like a well-run operation and would have been fun. This campsite is best for those in their 20's and 30's looking to stay up late and have a good time, who won't be bothered by noisy neighbors and the occasional rogue firework.

TL;DR Though there are valid reasons to be frustrated with Jerry's, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here. I wish I had better known what to expect and that is what brings me here. Our experience started on a sour note when we arrived and were told that they had "no record" of our riverfront campsite reservation. Their website says "camp sites may be substituted by management," and they will let you drive all the way out before they tell you you're bumped to the Brookside campsite across the road. If you want water access, you'll have to hike across NY-97 to get it. Based on other reviews it seems like our group was not the first to go through this experience. That being said, what the Brookside campsite lacks in Delaware River splendor it more than makes up for in natural woodland beauty. The campsites are nestled among towering trees, which has the added benefit of keeping temperatures down during the hot summer days. You'll wake up to birds chirping and might even get to watch a deer stroll by. If you're looking to kick back and relax in a lush natural environment without too much fuss, this experience will scratch that itch.----- The Good ------ Firewood, ice, and snacks can all be purchased at the main office, and they will deliver firewood directly to your campsite for you. The firewood is decent quality but can be very large - bring your own axe!- Brookside bathrooms are housed in the little building at the center of the campsite. They are well lit and are cleaned quite frequently. You come cheek to cheek with many big bugs during your stay, but not much more than one should reasonably expect when camping. The Delaware River side also has a main bathroom house, with port-a-potties scattered along the road for campers further away. I much prefer them to a hole in the ground.- Hot showers are available in small booths at the end of the bathrooms. They can get grimy so you'll want to bring slippers, but a hot shower is a nice little treat to have on offer when camping.- Volleyball and horseshoe pits are available in the rec area, as are grills and covered picnic tables.- Trash bins and fire pits are available right at your campsite. The fire pits are open, so bring your own grill grate.----- The Hit or Miss ------ A bit lawless in terms of noise levels. If you like to dance until the crack of dawn you'll be in good company, which is very liberating if you're part of the party but could be annoying if you are looking for a quieter night.- No cell phone service (at least for T-Mobile and Verizon, as of writing this). Do not expect any important phone calls or emails while you're out here.----- The Bad (with some advice) ------ Though we did not get to camp on the Delaware River side, we did drive over to check out the water. At the front of the campsite the river access is a very steep and long hill, which some campers could struggle with. However, there is hope. Drive all the way down to the far end of the campsite instead. There is a great spot with easy drive up access and a significantly smaller slope to navigate.- Once you manage to make your way down to the river, you might be disappointed to find a very strong current that only goes up to your knees. Conditions change with tides and seasons, but I find it hard to believe that any forces of nature would be able to raise this section of the river to a swimmable height. If you are staying at Jerry's and want to really enjoy the river, I highly recommend driving up the road to a launch site (there are plenty to choose from) and getting in a kayak. Jerry's does offer their own river trip service, but I have not tried it.- A minor gripe but their website says that a $10 per person deposit is required, yet at the front desk I was directly told that this is wrong and they haven't taken deposits for campers in years.

I’ve been there twice with a large group of people. The owner gave us a lot of wood needed for a campfire to last the whole night. I enjoyed the open grass area, volleyball court and the creek was beautiful. We were allowed to light up fireworks the whole night. There is poor cell phone reception,, don’t even think about staying connected,,so stay home bc that’s not camping. Going down river was a great experience. The staff was very informative and advised us of all safety precautions. Life jackets were available in all sizes. There are stores with Amenities and souvenirs just 2 min away. And there are a few restaurants in close proximity to your tasting. Looking to come back in near future.

WORST CAMPING EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT GO.This place could not possibly be more poorly managed.Staff were noticeably absent during critical times but told us that we could't "self police". Several campers blasted music until 3 AM making it impossible to sleep. There were illegal fireworks at all times of night. Dogs weren't on leashes and one kept coming into our site and peeing all over. When we complained to staff they "gave us permission" to tell our neighbors to keep their dog leashed since it was the law. What's the point of them being there if not to enforce the rules or the law? Not to mention the BATHROOMS were covered with BLOOD, FECES, MUD AND VOMIT during the duration of our stay. I'm pretty confident one staff member that I talked to was intoxicated. The most ineffective and unprofessional staff imaginable. Many people we talked to had the same complaints. We have called SEVERAL times to ask for a refund and the manager is UNRESPONSIVE. A TOTAL JOKE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.

My son and his friends went camping here this weekend. I had expected them home last night but they didn't show up.This morning when i still hadn't heard from them I got worried. I called the campgrounds and left a message, but by 10:15 when I hadn't gotten a call back, I called the State Troopers and asked them if they could check on them. Just after that I got a call from Gloria from the office and she was so kind and understanding and she sent someone to check on them, and yes they were ok, and yes i feel like an idiot now but just wanted to give Gloria and Jerry's a big thank you for being so kind and helpful!

Just returned from a WEEKEND OF HELL at JERRY'S. This campsite has no rules or any regard for campers who want a safe place to enjoy camping. Had to endure 3 days of non stop fireworks being shot off every second of the day and night while ash and hot embers showered my campsite. We were a group of 5 woman and 1 man that was physically attacked by this large group mostly men when we asked them to move the fireworks away from our campsite. Jerry's and the local Police did nothing!! Police say they are called often to Jerry's for problems. They seem to attract obnoxious people. Filthy overflowing toilets. Camp sites on beach are very small no privacy at all. 2 stall bathroom for entire campsite. DO NOT GO TO JERRY'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been coming to Jerry's for almost 20 years now. Great spaces, call early for reservations if you want a specific site. Wood is available for purchase and you can raft on the river! Staff is polite and friendly. It is camping, don't expect super luxurious service but a nice place to vacation with friends and family in nature.

HORRIBLE! RUDE! INTIMIDATING!Never have I ever experienced such horrid customer service IN MY LIFE! The staff was extremely rude, spiteful and condescending. After driving nearly 3 hours to this campground, the lady at the front desk, Nicole, gave me an attitude since the second I walked into the office. This was a different level of miserable. She was snippy and very rude, as if she hated her life and was taking it out on my girlfriend and I. After I paid for my site and she directed us where to go she was no help with other questions. She must’ve messed up which site she was going to assign us because after unpacking ALL of my camping supplies from my car, walking up and down an unpaved steep rocky hill, putting up our canopy and setting up the tent in 95° weather, one of their staff members who smelled like alcohol and weed, came down and told me that their boss said I had to either pay for the 10 person site or LEAVE IMMEDIATELY, otherwise they would CALL THE POLICE! This is an hour and a half AFTER they watched my girlfriend and I unpack the car and set up our site. They were intimidating us and threatening to call the cops several times after they assigned us a site and we paid $100. They wouldn’t even allow me to talk to a manager about the situation or help in getting us a new site. One of the staff member got in my face and threatened “something bad is going to happen if you don’t leave” Basically told us to f*** off, too bad, you have to leave or were calling the cops. She refused to give me a refund but eventually did, then only gave me 3/4 return. I will NEVER BE RETURNING. We had no place to sleep for the night and wound up driving aimlessly back to civilization searching for hotels spending more money then intended just because we only had 2 people camping. This is no place for a good time. I’ve also heard of them committing CC fraud. Which I wouldn’t doubt.

Just got back from my third trip to here. It is a large camp ground with bathrooms and showers that are cleaned daily. There is a big grass field surrounded by tree covered camp sites. There is a small creek that borders one side of the grounds and the other side is the Delaware river which also has campsites and rafting. You can walk right into the river and enjoy the water or just sit along side it and relax. Staff is friendly and outgoing and so is the owner who lives on the grounds. This is a very family friendly place and recommend it to all

I have been camping at Jerry’s since I was 1yo. Now as an adult I have been camping at jerry 20 year in a row. I take my wife and daughters as well and they love it. If your not camping at Jerry’s your not at a great camping ground. Bathrooms are great for a camping ground. And the staff have always been amazing and friendly I look forward to seeing them just as much as I look forward to camping. I would never camping anywhere else.

If you’re looking for the worst staff ever, go to Jerry’s! We almost got in car accident whil the driver from Jerry’s was giving us a ride. The car was super old and I don’t even know how they passed inspection . The wheel was almost shred because of the bad condition. And we’re moving almost 50 miles at that moment! The driver left us on the highway and went to ask for help to the closest camp. But the camp was closed and thanks God, he was able to find some camper with working phone and asked for help. No apologies, nothing, the rudest blonde ever works on front desk. Stay aware.
