After moving to Rockland County in late 2022, one of my major concerns was finding a veterinarian for my three cats. I’d been going to the same vet for almost 20 years and worried I wouldn’t find that level of care for the kitties. Well, I needn’t have worried. Dr. Puzio and his staff are fantastic. The care that my IBD cat is receiving is remarkable. Dr. Puzio goes above and beyond in order to treat Sawyer, and I know that he is in excellent hands as we navigate this disease. He’s also hilarious-in fact, the entire staff is friendly and fun. I would give them ten stars if I could!!! Dr. Puzio has also treated my cat Merlin (pancreatitis) and foster cat-Phoebe. If you are looking for outstanding veterinary care, Dr. Puzio and staff are the bomb.

“Okay, folks, let me spill the kibble - my pup goes bananas for this place! Seriously, I think he’s plotting ways to extend our visits just for the belly rubs and treats. And get this, despite the epic 45-minute to 1-hour car ride, we’re all in, no complaints. The vets? Oh, they’re like the cool kids at a puppy party, creating an atmosphere so warm and fuzzy, even my grandma wants to tag along for the checkups! Bottom line: my fur baby gets the VIP treatment every time, and I’m here to bark it loud - this place is the real deal!”

Always received great care since 2007. Our dog was vomiting and they took Sasha the same day! Bravo.Rusty lived a solid 18 years, all the vets and staff were, and are so caring! We now have two dogs and Have to say that Max and Sasha have put them test! Very strong dogs, timid, guarded and the staff manages well.

Awesome place !!! My neighbor had left behind a pregnant mama cat plus 4 of her older kittens. They took mama and all the kittens and had them all adopted to great families!! Thanks so much , Rockland Vet team :)

Everyone here is all about making your fur baby comfortable and cared for... they also make the fur baby parents confident that they are getting the attention they need. Dr. Puzio was extremely thorough and I know my Sadie is in good hands.

My experience with my pet's Dr is always great. She's great with both my cats. But the front desk were rude. They kept their own conversation going, and going through their phone looking at other people's dog photos. She didn't engage in conversation with me. Only told me what total was and gave me my papers . I tried to Converse with her and she ignored me completely. I won't change location cause the Dr is amazing but some of her staff needs an attitude adjustment.

This is my second time visiting with my cat. Dr. Puzio and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Dr. Puzio ensures he explains everything very thoroughly. Visits are never rushed.

If you care about your pets then DO NOT take your precious animals here!!! Where do I even begin?! I'm not one to write reviews but I feel compelled to share this and hopefully you won't have the same experience. Took my labradoodle here for a check up some time ago. I'll admit my Sammy is a handful - I stepped out of the room for probably 10 seconds to answer a call - as I walked back into the room -- Nicole (I believe her name was) was dangling my dog from his leash!!!!! Just picture your loving pet dangling from it's leash at the vet and the person you trusted to care for them is CURSING and YELLING at them!! Had I not walked in my Sammy would have probably choked. To add insult to injury --- she told me "You really need to control your pet when you come here - I'm not a babysitter" --- the NERVE! I calmed Sammy down and carried him to my car. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!!!!! Pets are to be cared for especially at the Vet. Avoid this place at all cost if you love your pet

We were highly recommended to this practice by a relative and we were so very pleased with the care and service we received! The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient! Dr. Cillis and his assistant Brian were beyond fabulous! We had been using All Creatures Great & Small for over 30 plus years and they made it extremely difficult for many reasons to continue to do business with them any longer! At this clinic we felt valued and our cat was extremely comfortable with Dr. Cillis and Brian! Thank you all for the wonderful service you provided! We so appreciate being able to get an appointment on short notice as we were concerned because our cat had a cyst over her eye which was taken care of in this visit! Our cat, also, loved having her nails trimmed too! We drove over 45 minutes to go to this clinic and we will continue our relationship with this practice!

The staff at Rockland Vet care are just wonderful!! They are friendly, patient and caring to my pets. It is very much appreciated.Dr. Puzio is just fantastic with my cats. He is really knowledgeable and will often give me ideas to maintain their health and well being. Everyone at Pomona Animal Hospital are amazing. Been going there for many years and I love Dr. Puzio. He has always been very attentive to all my pets and when I had to say goodbye to one of my pets a couple of years ago he helped ease my pain by being such a caring doctor. If you want a great vet who is loving and caring and who has an excellent bedside manner, then this is the vet for you. The other doctors and staff are also very attentive and make you feel comfortable for both you and your pets. I would not go anywhere else.

The best Vet around. I’ve been taking my dog to them since he was a pup, going on 6 years. They always take care of him and never had a problem. Appointments are easy to make, and we have had a couple emergency visits unfortunately, but they always got us in ASAP. It means a lot when you have a vet you can trust and ultimately cares about your pets health and well-being. I would recommend them for anyone with a pet. Thanks for all that you have done for my dog and keep up the good work!!!

The staff at Pomona are efficient friendly and knowledgable. We have had several ortho/arthritis issues with our Labrador Retriever this past year and the compassion and empathy and determination to come up with a viable treatment plan was incredibly reassuring. Dr. C. Puzio, and Dr. Lambrich and the entire vet team, techs, office staff always made us feel comfortable and went above and beyond. Kudos to all of you as Logan is doing 100% better and we couldn't be happier!

My dog was spayed at Pomona Hospital and within a day she was up and about. I followed the post-op instructions and within 2 weeks it is as if the surgery did not occur. My princess is my new addition to the family and as with my human children, I expect professional and courteous treatment for them especially from the healthcare field. My children do not dread going to their pediatrician and I am thrilled to say my new baby goes in and comes to and from the animal hospital with her tail wagging. I recommend this pet hospital if you truly care about your animal family member. The doctors are knowledgeable and the staff are friendly and handles my baby with care.

Great doctors and an super staff!I have been to the Stony Point and Pomona offices and everyone is always wonderful.Over several years I have brought my dogs there for routine visits, for medical issues that come up, and even for that most difficult trip over the Rainbow Bridge.Thanks go to Dr Puzio, and all the other fine doctors, for the excellent service, and most importantly, the compassion they show towards animals.

I've used Pomona Animal Hospital for over 40 years. No matter where I moved, Orange County or Rockland, my pets always came here. I highly recommend it for your pets. The doctors are excellent and I've dealt with each one. The clientele are cheerful, sympathetic and professional. They are eager to please x are very helpful in finding out whatever information you may need. Even on one of my darkest days with my dying beloved elder dog, they were so compassionate x supportive. If you are looking for a veterinarian you can count on, this would be the place for you. The same vets are also in the North Rockland Animal Hospital in Stony Point.

I have been going to the Rockland Veterinary Care in Pomona for both my dog and cat for years and have put up with very rude front desk staff until I could find somewhere else to take my dog and cat. Finally I found a wonderful Vet with wonderful staff and wonderful people to deal with. My reasons for leaving was not only their rude front desk managers and staff, but their total unprofessionalism. I could not take their incompetence and asked for my files to be sent to me. I am so happy to be somewhere else. Good luck to the people that deal with them.
