Very nitty gritty marketplace but I asked to use the restroom and that led me down a set of stairs to the basement where all the real work takes place. Very old facility that led to old dirty women’s room that I was very happy to find. Curious that I was allowed there at all but the store and the food seemed ok once I got over the sticker shock for NewYork food prices. The checker was efficient and the fresh fruit was pretty!

I am glad this place (Key Foods) is still here. Since the renovation, it is cleaner with a better food selection. The staff is amicable and helpful. Yes, this place is pricey, but convenience has its price. I hope more people shop here, so it doesn't go out of business.

Love this store!!! Everything is amazing from the produce to the bakery to the flowers. Customer service is like no other supermarket Ive ever been to. They went above and beyond to make sure we received our rewards card after having some difficulty signing up. We love this store and we drive from Yorktown just to do our food shopping. Thank you, Key Food!

The experience in this supermarket has improved tremendously since the renovation. No more moldy smell, everything seems to be upgraded which makes for a much more pleasant experience. It’s clear they downsized on staff so at times it’s hard to get someone at the checkout desks. The prices are sometimes a little high but their place in town makes it convenient.

I don't believe they are the leader for lowest prices, but its a clean store, usually quick to get in and out, and a pleasant shopping experience.It gives me some satisfaction that a grocery store still exists at this location as I worked here as a cashier way back in 1988-1989 when it was the Grand Union!!! That was around the time the Thornwood towne center (shoprite) was built.

Slowest Deli workers ever. There is never a line of people. Maybe one or two people and its painful slow! Plus they can't slice roast beef correctly. It's always shredded to pieces. I stopped going there.

I just stopped by the bakery to buy a birthday cake for a friend. I asked the person at the counter if he could tell me which of the cakes were nut-free. He told me that he had not put any of those cakes out and had nothing to do with them. He said he could not tell me whether any of them had nuts. I was a little taken aback by the attitude of this person. The store manager was slightly more helpful, and said that only the deli manager could help me and he had left for the day. I was very disappointed by the service at the bakery counter at this store. Definitely two thumbs down.

They were following us around the store, 3 people kept coming up to us while we were at self check out for the bags. One man was helpful the other 2 people were looking over our shoulder as we were paying and scanning our items. It was rude and disrespectful and extremely uncalled for.

Was surprised to find what I could not find (out of stock / shortage) in 2 more popular market chains. Nice store, produce looks good. Don't pass it if you're looking for a few items, you may be surprised.

The blonde female cashier was unprofessional and disrespectful. Now the produce was decent and the selection respectable but when you have a person with such a bad attitude it can ruin the whole experience. So I say 4 stars for the actual store and 0 for the blonde female employee.

Key food is convenient, clean, and rarely ever has lines/crowd, but comes in about 20-30% more expensive compared to other supermarkets in the area. I personally dont do all my shopping here but I come here when I need a few small items.

Dont like it very much. But you should always check the date on everything you buy because a lot of the time food is expired Workers are friendly, helpful and very nice. They have update the store.

Great little store. Prime meats and the freshest seafood in the area. Good selection of most things for a small space . Great beer selection and fair prices. I go out of my way to shop there sometimes.

This store is very clean they did a real fine job on the renovations to the store. They're amply supplied and they do a nice job keeping people moving in the right direction

While the grocery store is not the best, the employees are so helpful. The employee Brianna was very helpful when I came to her in concern about an expired product. Will come again :)

I'm so sorry but I've found on numerous occasions expired food or missing expiration stickers. I drive to Thornwood (shoprite) to buy our groceries. Either this place needs new management or just a total 180 make over which is so sad because I can literally walk to the market.😿

Come here for the seafood! Best quality seafood of any local supermarket. Otherwise, prices for most items are higher than in most large stores.

This supermarket has everything you need. The fresh foods are good. Cashier's in particular were especially friendly.
