This Target store always has more stuff compared to other stores. Our go to place to shop when we go over to Plattsburgh. Price is higher, I call it the “Target price”. But some of the stuff you can only get at Target, Target exclusives. You can also order online and pick it up at the store. Clean and friendly staff. Also, Starbucks inside the store. Clothing, toys, household items, food and more!

We went for the first time today, and the staff was very friendly. I had a lovely exchange at checkout with Sally, will definitely go back. Worth the drive from Montreal.

Target is one of my favorite stores until the head manager got fired, the store went to hell. I hardly see any associate in each department fixing the mess thats scattered everywhere.... The departments look like they have not been zoned, end caps have random items shoved by the “price check” shelf, and that’s how fragile objects get broken, every department you go in is trashed with random piles of mess! Too much product is left out on the pallet, full of boxes which sit for a days. I’ve seen the desk associates stand around and gossip and rather the stocking the dollar section that has a cart full of boxes that sit there and never get touched. Less talking and more working? If I worked there myself I would have an up keep of having the isles swept and organized.. Some of the staff is courteous and helpful. I know some the associates try to keep up with the store and may be understaffed ? I’ve also had a item that I purchased as a seasonal and wanted to return it or exchange it for something else which would be fine, however it had to be select items, which is disappointing bc the store would still be able to keep its money even if it didn’t have to relate to the item vs he amount I could exchange it for another item. Also when it comes to the clothing and shoe department on the weekends it looks like a mess clothing hanging off of hangers or on the ground and shoes in the middle of the isles ....

Edited 06/29 (added new photos): it's been two years since I've been back to this location and it's STILL a mess. I watched a pickup employee go into the little girl's section (which every display is a hot mess) and sift through the wrecked racks and piles of clothes on the ground searching for an item and not once tried to hang up something he picked up.I never found what I needed and left without my intended items because it was too frustrating to shop here.I thought after two years this place would have improved. Why this Target won't hire night stockers or more staff to tidy up and fix these issues, I don't know. Plattsburgh deserves better than this.*****One of the reasons I frequent Target over WalMart or other chain stores is the care they typically take in stocking/organizing/displaying their stock. I went to this Target while visiting from out of town (against the advice of my mother who said it was a wreck) and walked in on a Saturday afternoon to see this. Upon walking in there were shopping carts blocking the front door, there was trash all over the ground and every aisle I went down looked just like these pictures. What amazed me most was that there were staff EVERYWHERE, and yet the shelves were in complete disarray. I watched two employees step OVER hangars lying on the floor, and another girl in uniform who looked like she was shopping drop a garment on the floor and simply walked away from it. Is this the Twilight Zone? I was so stunned I followed her down the aisle to double check that she had a Target name tag.Whoever is managing this location should be absolutely ashamed, I was so frustrated with the disorganization that I gave up and decided to wait until I got back home to Georgia to visit our location instead.This brand of chaos is to be expected during holidays, Black Friday and the like, but on a casual, random July afternoon? Unacceptable.The staff were friendly enough, the lady at the changing rooms was helpful, and the girls working the Starbucks counter were prompt and the coffee was delicious, but that's about the positivity I can muster about this place.Plattsburgh deserves better. I was warned about this store, it has a bad reputation, and the only reason it is still in business now is because it's the only one in town. Pathetic.

I love having a target red card because not inky gives you 5% off your purchases, it also gives you free shipment. Customers are usually very friendly and willing to help.

Went in today to trade in my Consumer Cellular Motorola cell phone. They only had 3 or 4 cheap phones in stock and empty racks where the Motorola phones were supposed to be. Staff person told me I'd have to order one online to be shipped to the store. As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to customer service and accommodation Target is becoming its own worst enemy.

Place is a dump anymore. No one picks up, garbage in the middle of isles so you can't shop and their employees are useless.... Asked 2 people where something was, one only gave directions then ignored me and the other had no clue. Walmart is better choice ugh.9/30/23 I'm taking away both star, ( can't remove them all-won't let me)worse than before, there were no carts for customers 39 were filled throughout the store with merchandise so you couldn't use them (I counted) all I can figure is they don't want you to shop there.... So I won't!11/25/23 Getting worse all the time... Junk on the floor and I'm the isles, just everywhere. You can't shop in a dump like this. Use to spend $100.00 a week there... Now no more than $10.00 if they're lucky. Who let's there store look like this?

This Target in Plattsburgh is probably one of the worst stores I've ever been in. It's constantly a mess and they clearly do not care about their customers. I got a set of Astro a50s they're about 10 months old they don't work at all anymore Target will do nothing even though they were purchased there I was told by three associates that they just sell the product and at the end of the day they could care less the store looks like a bomb went off every time I walk in there garbage everywhere every section is in complete and total disarray nothing's ever organized it's pathetic I worked retail for 20 plus years and this is by far the worst store I've ever seen. Target does not sell anything that you cannot buy at some other store and nothing at Target is cheaper than any other store do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here

If you need a wheelchair or a stroller avoid this store if you care your person safety and want a pleasant shopping experience. Many isles blocked including pathways to fire escapes.

Always messy. Isles are constantly blocked by carts. They never have any registers open. I've stopped going here. There is no excuse for the horrible state the store is in. Fire the manager and give the actual workers a raise.

My main favorite about Target is the willingness to pay decent wages to the people who work there. This alone buys a lot of forgiveness over petty imperfections. It shows in attitude of the staff. Employeers get what they pay for.

I came here from Montreal for some fun US food and home items. Just 1 hour from downtown, this target is huge and has lots of products. Not a lot of other stores around it though.

Target here doesn't have very many employees, they always have so many boxes unpacked, not on the shelf blocking items that you want to see and get to.. hope things change soon

This is the second appointment I made to get the COVID shot. Both times I was told when I got there that they ran out of doses. How can you schedule someone if you don't have the proper amount of doses. I can see one mistake, but twice in 7 days, tells me they either don't know how to count or they are giving away the scheduled doses to people who didn't make an appointment. Either way, I question their integrity.

Whoever is in charge of this store should be fired. It’s always dirty. The bathrooms are disgusting and never stocked. The aisles have products all over the floor or the stocking department just leaves the stuff on their carts in the aisle so you can’t get around. I wouldn’t have problem if they were stocking but they’re not.Bathrooms are horrible!!!! Everything’s broken and nothing in stock. Floors are always sticky and it always smells. With Covid you think they would try to keep that area clean.

They allow people to bring their pets in the store and ride around IN the shopping carts. I really don't want to put my new merchandise and groceries where a dog has been sitting. I've seen this on multiple occasions.

I found out today, and everyone should know this, that the prices you see online for Target are not the price you get charged in the store. You need to ask for the online price and they will "price match" it for you, but only if you ask for it. If you don't ask they will charge you the higher price and think nothing of it.I just went through my receipt and found 10 items for a total refund of $116.00. So please go on the app and check the prices because otherwise they don't care about charging you more.

I went in to return an unopened item within the return policy window and was told they can't do the return. It was even printed on my receipt to return within 90 days. I made the purchase 2 months ago. I'm Very disappointed in the company. I spend way too much money with this company for them to not honor their own policy! I don't think I will be making a larger purchase from this store again.

Cluttered and crowded. Nothing on the shelves. Shelves are a mess and it's impossible to to find price tag. Checkout cashier are way too slow and there is never more than 3 registers open at a time. Just buy online or go to a grocery store it's faster and less of a waste of time.

I love target, they literally have everything! Plus a Starbucks inside which makes it even better!! I just wish the prices were more comparable to Walmart. Overall I choose target over Walmart!

I came to this Target from out of town to see if they had a better selection of Funko Pops but to my surprise the section was decimated and disorganized. While looking at the Funko selection I was being watched by what I can only assume was an extremely creepy customer or a Loss Prevention Officer. Either way it made me feel extremely unwelcome in this store and I will never be returning.
