We go here once a month from Vermont. Good selection of items. Bakery items are definitely a must if you love sweets! It gets pretty busy depending on the day and time. They’re pretty consistent when it comes to upgrading your membership. They do check for your membership when you go in. You can show them your digital membership card thru Sam’s Club app. Go thru a checkout with a cashier if you buy a lot of stuff. This will save you from trouble of getting out. I saw a family being stopped and getting all the stuff they bought being checked and scanned.

I love Sam's Club but would like to make a complaint and offer a suggestion for the café (food court) at this location. Totally unacceptable that during a busy weekend lunch rush, there is only 1 person working. This poor employee has to prepare all the food, while taking orders from a long line of customers and also prep the mobile orders that are coming through. You can wait 15 to 20 mins before even being served, this should be fast food, it does not make sense to only have 1 person working on weekends! Please please someone help out the poor employee and have more staff added. The lady working there alone told me her manager doesn't care that she is alone and struggling.. This is awful and a bad customer experience to hear that from her.

The fuel prices are the same as every other gas station in town. You pay a membership fee and you’d expect a lower price for members, yet I can go to a shell, Mobil, or Sunoco using their rewards program and actually earn rewards from them for even cheaper gas. I find it ridiculous that you are priced the same as even the small owned stations in town. Please work to address this situation.UPDATE: As of Feb 16th gas is CHEAPER at the shell in front of sams club. It’s kind of outrageous that we pay a club fee and still overpay.

Why did you start asking to see cards at the door again? It serves absolutely no purpose other than to annoy people since you need a card to actually buy anything. We use the app specifically to avoid dealing with people and get in and out quickly.

It was a 2 hour wait for my tire installation, so I decided to knit but they don't have seating in the tire area and my buns did not like hanging out at the cafe tables. I moved my project to the furniture aisle and was a satisfied waiter. I do wish the electric recliner was plugged in so I could have put my feet up. Oh well!

Pre order pick up available ***Update May 2021.i Just had my first bad experience. . I was rushed thru lane while paying. No one packs so I have to ok but give me the time to do it. .it was rude and pushy and embarrassing. Caused next customer to be in my face physically. No distance between customers and no sanitize between customers. This time. Just trying to get their stuff . It was 2 nights ago. Then at door exit I asked for help loading car and he paged twice. No one came. I walk with cane. Very disappointed with indifference treatment. Sad.*Update 2/27/2022 everything we need us in stock ,. Helpful friendly staff, very good pricing on needed extra items. I’m not a frequent shopper so the basic membership works for me. I did the math. However, the attendants are RUTHLESS and bordering on levels of harassment to upgrade my membership every time I checkout at the Plattsburgh store. They will not accept “no” and just keep pressing with reasons (that will not benefit me) to upgrade. I wish I had a camera recording during one trip when one of the attendants started following me out the door with pressure to upgrade. TIP: Start using the Sams Club app on your phone to build a shopping cart and complete a mobile checkout. This will avoid any of that harassment nonsense at the checkout if you simply want the basic membership.

I always enjoy going here. It's clean and organized. There is a lot of product to look through, the aisles make sense when walking up and down them. They have a garage on one side but it's isolated enough where there isn't a ton of noise. The customer service could use a bit more color. Very bland and boring. The staff are all very friendly and do a great job. They offer a scan and pay through the app. I have not used it yet but will in the future as it seems interesting to me. Prices are pretty good and this is definitely a good place to go for bulk items, whether you have a large family or not.

This was really a “ disgusting shopping experience “ to say the least. I have received a gift card from a friend and the young lady cashier told me that I do not need a membership since I have a gift card. So I went by and did my shopping. Coming to the cashier , Justin, I presented the card to him . To my surprise he told me that I need a membership to be able to use my gift card there. I explained to him that I do not come here often and that’s why it is called a gift card. He was displaying the worst customer service skills ever. Very rude towards me, my kids and my wife.I asked if I could speak to a manager he replied “ I am the manager” I asked for somebody higher and all of a sudden he demoted himself saying that he was a team leader by then. I give the one star to the “real manager” Shari, who came and resolved my situation by refunding the value of the gift card to me. Maybe Shari should train Justin a bit more and should also teach him not to lie about his position. I hope this review reaches top management of Sam’s club. Today is the 24 of August 2023, it happened around 1715-1745.

Sam's has a pretty nice club going on here. Not sure what kind of club is just a giant warehouse store but whatever. Great for low prices on everything from electronics to bulk mayonnaise. The club has very wide aisles, which is good because they also have obnoxiously wide shopping carts. Sam's shoppers demonstrate that the old saying is true: the shopper will adapt/grow to occupy the width of their aisle; wider aisles just mean that shoppers can drive straight down the middle, browse from 5ft away, and take the corners as if they're steering a tractor trailer.

Bad experience at the food court today and it has been lately. I never have had a problem with other workers other than the young gentleman with glasses that works at noon . He dismisses me and other family members when we order . He looks like he hates his job job and I understand working in a food court is hard at times but if you work somewhere you represent them and the way you treat people matters especially if you signed up for that job. It took around40 minutes today to get 1 pie my partner approached him twice to get an update and was told it wasn’t ready yet .Then he went the last time because we were waiting for while and we were seeing people come and go with orders that was placed after ours. He even went on to call out some orders for other folks letting them know it’s ready and seemed nicer to them , he did not say one word to us about our order being done .The worker looked at us while we were waiting by the warmer and asked are you waiting for something ? In a rude tone Like if we were there for no reason and we didn’t interact with him we told him it’s been a while since we last checked and he looked confused and he grab the pizza that was standing in the warmer since we asked the first time . Not sure if I will be eating here again as every interaction with this association is uncomfortable.

A) was scheduling too far out to be useful to me; B) came with a fee, which is out of step with this era of free delivery/pick-up.

They asked me to sign up for a Mastercard, telling me that I would get 5% back on ALL purchases. They lied. You get 5% on gas, 3% on meals and only 1% on everything else. Cancelled the card immediately. Don't like being lied to.

The prices are still fair, and the shelves are full. They are starting to put the spring plants out. I wish they still sold the pocket tee shirts, but I haven't seen any in quite awhile. It's a well run well stocked store for sure.

9/30/23-well I can’t give them another bad review because I already have but not much has changed, asking for your membership card at the entrance again and couldn’t even find a vegetable tray for a party in the whole placeWe haven't been too thrilled with Sam's Club lately, after waiting in line to check out they tell us we cannot use our card as credit at this register. So they print out a slip, and we have to wait in another line so that we can use their card as credit. This isn't the first time this has happened, and it's a big inconvenience. Why use a cash register when there's 10 other register sitting there empty if it cannot accept credit. And compared to other stores, lately the prices seem ridiculous! Seriously considering not renewing our membership next go-around! PS Sam's Club has the filthiest bathrooms and all of Plattsburgh New York.

Member since they opened in Plattsburgh. Always my first place to go for high quality, quantity and great prices. I use their app for self checkout the majority of time for easy and fast checkout. Saves a lot of time during busy holiday periods. It would be nice if during busy periods they would have another person at the exit checkpoint for people using the app.

Always like shopping here, always good prices. I just shopped there for food for my son's wedding and it did not cost a fortune, that was very nice. The only thing I really have a problem with is the fact that I can't use cash in the self checkout. Given that that is my only real issue I would say they do quite well! That first part of the review was a couple years ago, now I would say inflation at the moment is a bit out of control and you can get five things at Sam's now and spend two hundred easy. Heaven forbid they cut CEO pay instead of passing all the hurt to customers but hey, what do I know?!
