The Co-op is one of my favorite places to shop in Plattsburgh. It's community focused, and worth a visit everytime I'm downtown. I love their vitamin section, and local produce, maple syrup, dairy and sauerkraut. I've been trying to cut down on plastic and the bulk section is wonderful. I bring in my empty jars and have them weighed and then fill them. So easy. They have a nice gift section, and the food made in house is delicious as well!

I’m so happy that Plattsburgh has such a great health food store. The smoothie bar is a fantastic addition where you can get a dairy free smoothie with plant proteins. I love the list of superfood additives and gluten free options, too. A wonderful selection with friendly staff!

A downtown gem. Beautiful store with an excellent choice of local, Vermont, and beyond products including kombucha and CBD infused cold brew on tap! Love their bulk section and also grab & go cooler.

I have never had a bad experience here. They have a ton of options for people with various dietary restrictions(including the best variety of vegan options in town), great local organic produce and baked goods, a pretty big bulk section, and even a good beauty/hygiene section. Everyone is super friendly and if they dont know something they will find out for you.

These guys are always cheerful and ready to help! We've been able to find hard-to-get items here, and what they don't have, they can order. The selection of local products rivals that of local markets in some ways, so I'd rather pay the extra to support our neighbors and local vendors prior to the chains!

Our co-op is the best little co-op in upstate New York. The staff is knowlegable, friendly, and helpful. The food is delicious and fresh. I have been a member for, I can't remember... ....Been at least 30 years. This is where i purchase my staples, my brown rice, tea, and of course, my organic instant oatmeal. Our NC Co-op is a member operated grocery. It is as much a part of the City of Plattsburgh's spirit as the Saranac River which weaves down from the Adirondacks, through the city, and out past the co-op to Lake Champlain. Do drop in, you won't be disappointed.

Apparently management not skilled in cooking. Selection bad. Sends you directly to chain mega groceries. Health products filled with items proven to cause diBetes heart disease cancer. Over priced poorly stocked. Replacement stick dropped badly in past year+. Produce not great. Plenty of local farmer markets. Keeps proving..why waste time..just go to a regular grocery. Plus most employees cannot afford to buy there.

Currently going through a lot of renovations to improve the store. Lots of vegetables from local farms. Lots of great natural and organic products at some of the lowest prices in town. Great bulk section with a huge bulk spice department.

I absolutely love North Country Food Co-op... Not just for the local produce, but for the staff as well. They are all very kind and patient, willing to assist you in any fashion. I personally love the selection of coffees! I switched over to Cardinal Cash, as I am a student at SUNY Plattsburgh, simply because I could spend it at the Co-op rather than support Chartwells.
