Please go to another branch. The whole store smells like a urinal or a manure plant. You need a toxic mask to be in here. Think of the worst smelling toilet, and this is 5 times worse. There are piss on the floor and dried urine spots everywhere. They will probably they clean everday. No, they have not just cleaned this place for a longtime. There are more dryed urine spots on the floor than clean areas. This would never happen in other countries, and they wonder why they don't have jobs. These workers would rather sit in filth than clean. Checkout pic

Petco shop.in plainview is large store with full selections of pet products. To compare to.other pets stores , they are pricey. But good for a quick pick up.Thry operate in over 1000 Petco locations across the U.S., "Mexico and Puerto Rico, including a growing network of more than 100 in-store veterinary hospitals, and offer a complete online resource for pet health and wellness"

We’ve brought Frida Panda to help us pick her toys twice, and it’s been a great experience for all involved! (She even got a treat from the staff when we checked out. Thank you!) She loves all her new toys but is obsessed with her new hedgehog (shown in the pictures)We had a birthday party for Frida at the park, and she got several gifts from Petco that she loved 🐾🐼♥️

Brand new, spacious and clean. Helpful staff from former Syosset location. Grooming is very good and highly visible. Petco clinic is reasonable but they are waiting to secure a full time Vet for a full scale Vetco clinic

So many dead fish in the overcrowded little tanks.. and bettas looked very sad. Came by because I had a gift card - but I think I’ll stick with my local Petsmart in the future.

Under one star, we went for grooming. My dog was turned away bc she didn't have a clearance letter from our vet. Was also told my dog is aggressive and our appointment was cancelled. Outrageous, I have never been treated this was in my life. I have owned a dog my entire life and have never run into this problem. Save yourself the trip and go elsewhere!!!

Worst experience ever at Petco. Cashier rejected me and daughter to purchase two hamsters with a terrible attitude. She claimed a few regulations(no clue if it was from Petco or official) which I was unheard of to deny our demand of purchasing pets.

This Petco is a complete wreck. I've been in a ton of Petco's and this one is the worst. It's a Sunday afternoon and there were 1) stocking dollies blocking the aisles 2) long queues at the register with the cashiers having looong conversations with people trying to sell maintenance plans for things like fish. 3) Out of stock on everything 4) No carts, and I had to wait in a long line holding pounds and pounds of food. Does a manager exist here?

This store just opened 2 months ago and is a disgrace to the Petco brand. The staff or lack of staff that is there is non existent and not customer friendly. The store is extremely disorganized and filthy. I felt extremely uncomfortable allowing my pup to walk the floor of the store. Needless to say,I would never trust her to any of your services such as grooming or vet care. Your upper management needs to revisit this location and revamp the business plan before local health entities are called in to shut you down.

Can't believe what just happened to me at the store. The guy wouldnt sell me a 29 cent goldfish because he thinks my fish tank at home is too small. I said it's ok I understand just give me the fish and he said sorry I can't do that. I can see from the reviews here on how everyone else experienced the same rude behavior.

Visited this store when it first opened. Didn't have any brand in stock that my cats use. (liter,wet food, dry food) Just ordered a case of fancy feast kitten food online yesterday for pick up. Not in stock at this location. I had to drive 6 miles to Wantagh to pick it up while I live .03 miles from this store. So disappointing.

Why did you move from Syosset location? The new location is very tight and not ventilated properly. Seems like much of the staff has changed for the worse. Just bad vibes from petco. I will be using Amazon to get my dog her fixings now.

This petco has great workers and groomers. I wish they had more options in their toy section for my puppy and that the vet was open.The manager was super helpful finding my dogs food and check out was quick.I have not used their grooming service yet but they had no issues answering my questions and he even showed me the right brushes to buy for my golden doodle.I am looking forward to using this petco for all my pups needs.

The store was well stocked but very disorganized. I was shocked and disappointed to witness one of the cashiers yell at a customer and tell him "don't come back here anymore" and she abruptly left her station and left a line full of customers. We all waited about 5 minutes when another employee realized there weren't any cashiers and rushed to help out.

I truly like the staff and the store looks great, but the cricket supply diminishes quickly. I mean they get a delivery (maybe) on Friday and by Sunday, you can’t get any. Pet Smart has a guarantee on their cricket supply. You can always count on them - not this Petco location. It is terrible. They need to figure out their supply strategy BIG TIME!!!

I have gone twice both times the staff was extremely rude. They do not care about customer service. They all have very nasty attitudes and know nothing about animal care and if you ask questions or have concerns they snap at you. Very unhelpful would not go or ask for advice on your pets Especially if you are a new pet owner.

This store is relocated from Syosset location. Same staffs. Same groomers. Nothing was changed. Same rudeness. Same nasty attitude. I just don’t understand why Petco who’s one of the biggest chain store would allow their names to be ruined by these people?! I walked into one of the groomer is smacking one of the dog when I was there to pick up my dog. She got caught red handed and felt ashamed which turned into an anger, she raised her voice and tried excused: the dog tried to bite me. I said: u can tell the owner and not to groom that dog anymore but don’t hit the dog. She said: the dog hurt me. I said: u need to call and talk to the owner. I then picked up my dog and left ( I don’t want to hear her high pitched voice and I don’t feel like arguing with her) No wonder every time I take my dog for grooming and my dog always shiver and nervous, now I know exactly why! I WILL NEVER GO TO THEM ANYMORE and wish your pets and the owners good luck if you still go there.I wish I can leave no star but I had no choice because the lowest is one star.
