Really great campground. A hidden gem. Most sites are on the water with beautiful views. The staff are so friendly and had pots of flowers everywhere, everything was clean, came around in the evening to give treats to my dog and candy to kids. Overall an amazing experience - one of my favourite campgrounds.Restrooms: Very cleanDog-friendliness: Super dog friendly

Absolutely wonderful. Such a little gem of a campground. My siblings and I get our families together every year for a group camping trip and this year we visited Little Sand Point park. If you’re looking for a basic park with great staff you should stay here. Try to get a lake side spot. Note, the showers are across the street so they’re not super convenient but they have signs and a cute little path to them.

Beautiful spot. Sites vary quite a bit in size and privacy. It seems the higher the site number, the more spread out they are but that's not true for all of them. Water sites have steep banks and heavy foliage blocking the view and access to the water. The first bathroom is a hole in the ground however the middle bathroom is nicer and well maintained. Plan ahead or you will be driving 15 miles to replace forgotten items, however, its a nice quick drive with plenty of ice cream shops in town.

Nice site (#33) and friendly staff. Nice privacy from neighbors. Narrow road and tight boat launch made it a challenge to get around with a 24' RV. Very nice and clean lake.

Disappointing. Piseco Lake is an absolute racetrack of noisy boats and jetskiis. Cars flying down the road the campground is on (old Piseco Rd) made it noisy and unsafe to ride a bike. Campground was okay, somewhat noisy, but that's to be expected when full. Bathrooms were okay. But certainly not the nature weekend I had hoped for. Nearby town (Speculator) not very attractive, just a lot of cars. Seems like the northern Adirondacks is more peaceful and wild.

We were on the site 30 which was a site by the piseco lake. It's a beautiful campground and it's near the lake. Unfortunately the day we stayed was cold and rainy. So we couldn't fully explore the area. But there are two nearby hikes. One to T lake, 7mile round trip. And one for panther mountain a nearly 2 mile round trip. The T lake falls trail is closed due some dangerous conditions. But you can hike up to T lake. The site allows you to take motored boats as well as paddeled. I saw several motored as well as paddled boats and kyaks. There are bear warnings too. Overall it's a nice campground to stay.

Our campsite (43) was perfect and beautiful. Definitely a decline to the water, probably not suitable for those who might have trouble as it is steep/rocky. We were there during the week so it was relatively quiet. I will say however that these were some of, if not the worst, campground bathrooms I have ever experienced. Absolutely disgusting. I didn't even want to shower at this place. Although they did have a separate shower house, I never ventured over to see what that looked like so I cannot speak to its quality. Over all not the best or worst camping experience.

Quiet campground (at least during the week). It has water spigots every four sites or so. Flush toilets are available, and there are showers at the Comfort Station. Otherwise, it's primitive, which suits us just fine.

If you live in New York City, this place might be for you. But realistically I like a little quiet when I go camping and this place was not that. There were airplanes flying overhead at least every half hour. And I don’t mean Jets I mean little propeller planes flying close enough so that I could read the numbers on the tailfin. I highly don’t recommend this place. Also look closely at the map. The campsite is between road and the lake. Every time a car passes by you can hear it, which is all night long. I also took umbrage with the fact that it took five minutes to check in even though we had reserved our place and paid for it online. What? While I was writing this review two planes flew overhead. Oh Em Gee. If you have a better experience great much ,more tolerant of being next to civilization than I am.

Heavily shaded sites along the north west side of Piseco Lake. A bit of a scramble to get to the water from our site. Nearest bathroom was a pit toilet, wet toilet was 3 minute walk, shower building across the road, never did find the dumpsters. Lovely quiet location that was oddly noisey due to car traffic on the road and private planes going to/from the little airstrip at Piseco. Nice boat launch ramp area. Supply stores in the area were all closed, had to go 20 mins to Speculator for groceries.

Super cute campground. Crystal clear water. Was a little let down by the lack of fish caught when we were fishing. But other than that nice campsites. Clean shower house and bath house.

I come back here every year or so. It’s a quiet campground with many of the sites on the lake so you can swim directly from your site. The beach is small, but usually not crowded. There’s a boat ramp as well.

Great campground, some pretty big sites with water access, and if you're lucky a tiny little sand beach big enough for two chairs. Sites toward the end of the road are more secluded - it's a dead end. Kayak rentals $20/24 hrs. Rode bikes around the lake, fairly easy, pretty flat ride, a few hills. The road advertises bike friendly, but avoid biking it on Sunday after 11am when all the campers from up north are heading home with their boats and trailers. Hike up to Panther mountain was unexpectedly difficult, but AWESOME view and worth it. The only places we could find, if you wanted some prepared food, was donuts at the newly reopened Piseco Lodge and the Irondequoit Inn at the northern point of the lake which serves B'fst and Dinner most days during the season (if I recall, both of these places are closed on Weds). We didn't eat at the Inn, but the caretakers there are friendly and definitely perking up the place. Working on getting their wine & beer license. 2nd year there, planning to make it an annual trip!

Cute campground. Beach wasn't as big as I was expecting, given the name. Has a boat ramp for small boats. Sites are nice except some are walk ins and you have to park across the site. No big deal if the site wasn't down a steep slop. The map online where you book and pictures are not accurate for the sites either. The ranger let us change when we got there without charging the fee which was nice.

Terrible camp ground. Right off the road very noisey with the speed boats racing by all day. The staff is terrible and completely clueless. We booked online and still took 20+ minutes to check in. The sites are waterfront but we were site 64 and it was down a cliff basically. Fishing is all pickerel that's it. Did I mention the clueless staff? Terrible place.

Get a spot on the water. Higher number sites that have not been refurbished have minimal level ground to set up a tent but it wasn't a big deal. Awesome proximity to water and a hike that will take you up the mountain to an overlooking Vista.

This was the first place I ever camped in the Adirondacks after moving to Syracuse from Florida way back in 1991. As a flatlander, I always loved the mountains and once in the 'Cuse I found myself drawn up to the Dacks whenever I had a few days off. It has been a 29-year love affair.
