As much as I want to support local business this place is just not out of control. Empty shelfs, expired meat (?!) and extremely high prices. 7$ for a bag of pasta I normally by for 4$/5$, white rice is 7$ a pound, what the hell is going on?

Its very sad. They must be going out of business. Bare shelves and chocolate from LAST Easter (still @ full price) Everything was over priced. You expect to pay more for the convenience of shopping local but some items were more than double what you'd pay at Hannaford or Tops. I can see buying a few items to tide you over but even with gas at $4 you'll still save money going to Redhook or Rhinebeck for groceries.

$5/lb for onions is cruel and unusual, even for organic. Don’t waste your money. Spice aisle also perpetually smells like vomit.

For a small market they have a pretty comprehensive selection and the store is busy. So everything is fresh, produce is excellent, they have organic veggies from local farms, which are more expensive than conventionally grown, but everything is clearly marked so you know what you will be paying. Could use a refresh, but it’s very authentic and charming in its slightly faded state. Just remember they close at 1 on Sunday!

Pricey, small, old, needs an update. Nice produce dept. What I would expect from a small town grocer. What I don't accept is that they don't take EBT. There is no public transportation in this town and the nearest grocer is a 20 minute drive. I've seen too many people in this town forced to do their grocery shopping at the GAS STATION!!!! But no big box in this precious little town, cause that would put this store out of business!

Stopped in for one item while passing through town. Place is a dump. Meat section almost empty. Deli looked like it was closing. Whomever owns this place has given up. Outside old and run down.

Pecks is a great small town grocery. Good selection of items packed into a little place. Meat department is fantastic and they will custom cut whatever you'd like. Store is getting a little shabby, but it kind of adds to it's vibe. Great for quick shopping trips.

Employee was very rude to me. Told me because I shop every other day there that a came to the store to much. I don't think he realizes me purchasing things there pays his salary. There's one star because I had to put something there . It should get zero. Remember customers keep the store alive. You employees should appreciate that.

I love this place it's small like old fashioned grocery stores but it has everything like a new grocery store and doesn't charge a lot like small snobby grocery stores I spend the same amount of money there like I would at ShopRite. Best of all they have every single cocktail mixer you could ever think of.

Have been going to Peck’s Market in Pine Plains for years. Even though it’s small, it has a surprisingly large selection of foods, including locally grown produce, dairy and meat (Ronybrook dairy, Coach farm, & many other farms), organic foods (sometimes the organic is a bit pricey), and even gluten free. The store is logically laid out: first aisle- fruit, vegetables, dairy/condiments; second aisle - cereals, spices/ seasoning, baking goods, canned fruit/juice; third isle - 4th aisle- pet food and cleaning supplies; beer/alcohol/water, toilet paper, dry goods and snacks; 5th aisle - pasta, soup, breads, cookies, more snacks and frozen foods; back aisle meat, poultry, fish, deli and fresh bread. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Many of at least the cashiers have also been there for years- which I’m hoping means they get paid well enough (they seem happy relative to other grocery stores) - though I’ve never asked - so I take that as a good sign. During COVID, they are all wearing masks. The isles are a little small so, maintaining social distancing can be slightly tricky. However, since the store is small, you can literally easily move over to another isle and let people pass.

Love pecks cute little old fashion style grocery store but it has everything you might want to buy and you spend the same amount you would spend at like ShopRite or something usually small grocery stores are very expensive this one's not I love that place. And they have every single cocktail mixer you could ever want which is unusual for a grocery store

First time in the area this past weekend. My fiancé and I stopped in for a few groceries. I have to say it was very pleasant. Loved the whole small town feeling of the store and the employees were very friendly indeed. 😊

A nice, small supermarket with basic items. It also happens to be a time portal. You'll feel like you've stepped back into 1945.

Peck' is small town grocery shopping at its finest. They employ people from the community, have things you can't find in the "big" stores and generally a great shopping experience.
