This place has the best prices. The meat was done prompt and was very good tasting. We had a deer processed, bought half a cow, and bought meat out of their coolers. The lady there was also super nice, friendly, and helpful. She helped my elderly father in law carry his purchases to the car as well. We would highly recommend. We are heading back today to try their fresh dog food. Looking forward to buying more. Keep up the good work!

This is a hidden gem. The quality will never disappoint you what a difference from corporate chain stores as well as other butcher shops in flavor, price, quality and customer support. The family is truly over welcoming to customize anything you ask for. You cannot go wrong making the extra trip and supporting our local honest butcher shops. I’ve been a chef over 30 years and I’d recommend to anyone you won’t be disappointed Amazing job!!!!!

If you are as tired of weird. rubbery chicken and tasteless overpriced beef as we were, the Caton Butcher Shop is well worth the trip. Take your cooler and fill it up.

I was hesitant to use this butcher but everyplace else was booked up for months and they were able to get us in pretty quick. I went to the shop to fill out the cut sheet so I would make sure it was filled out correctly. The prices were fantastic..I'm now finding out why. Every pack of steak and roast we take out of freezer has to be trimmed before cooking. I didn't get the cuts that I know were on the cut sheet and got cuts that I didn't want. Not pleased and will definitely never trust them to butcher again

My dad neighbor introduced my dad to this place and he bought meat from there and my dad had me try the meat and it was very good so I went up there with him one day and I got a lot of meat for 50 some dollar and some of it I had to try but it was very good so I when back after I got paided again and got alot more witch was the 150 bundle deal and aging it was very good I was going to get my food from Cantons for my kids birthday party but none of my friends and family want to let me know if they was coming to it or not so I keep it simple and just made hamburgers and hotdogs from Walmart plus thanks to my dad he said that I had to add seasoning to the meat because it's not like Walmart or big m or any other meat from stos that put all the stuff into the meat witch I like about the meat I know it came from the animal and the meat didn't get messed with. I have two great butchers and that is Cantons witch is number 1 because it's close to home and the prices and the product and the second one is Bryan's because of the product and they helped us with my grad party in 2018 we didn't ask for buns or bread and they still gave us it for low price.

I had this place butcher a deer last season. I called a week later to see if it was done and they said it takes 4 to 6 weeks to process (never heard of it taking so long - which should have been a red flag right away). They insured me the meat was being well cared for. The meat does not smell right and is discolored. I tried some steaks and they did not taste right - I do not trust the meat and do not dare eat it. I still have a small amount of venison from the previous season in my freezer that was butchered elsewhere and it is fine. I will never go back to this place as it did not appear clean and it was winter and there was the smell of rotten meat outside.

Dropped off a deer 🦌 id hit with my truck wasn't expecting as much meat as I got back but boy was I surprised when I picked it up almost 2 boxes full . Was greeted by a nice young woman who was very cheery . Very happy with their service will definitely do business with them again .

Excellent meat, great prices, superb service... I've only ordered from them once (1/4 cow, 1/2 pig, and 40 lbs of chicken) but definitely get my meat to fill the freezer from now on from them

A wonderful butcher shop where you can see cattle grazing outside, free range. Meat is pleasant tasting and very lean. Reasonable prices. Come to their open house and you will go home with a meal.
