I love going to this Dollar General! I will drive the extra 15 minutes past two other Dollar Generals to shop at this one every time. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The store is clean and stocked well. If I need help finding anything they know right where it is. Donna the manager and Saige the assistant manager run the store great!

The store is handy has a lot of good deals but management is something that needs improvement. Very disorganized.isles are cluttered. And the biggest fault I have is the website says the hours are 8am to 9 pm you go there at 7:45 and they are closing up. Been there on several occasions well before 9 pm the outside lights are off if your lucky enough to get in you get dirty looks ,and the manager is waiting by the door with the keys locking the door as you leave last week myself and three other cars came in at 8:15 and the doors were already locked ! Why if your open till 9 stay open till 9 I still shop there only because they do carry thing the other stores done

Overall an excellent store. Once in a while there is a line but usually it's no more than 2-3 people. The store is clean and well organized most of the time. When they are changing seasonal stock it can get cluttered but once they get the seasonal stuff out, it stays organized. The overall price on merchandise is cheap to moderately priced. It's definitely cheaper than most box stores and gas stations. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I go here often. I think I'll list the bad then the good...This store is very crowded with materials. The store organization is problematic mostly near the main entrance aisle and the check out. The worst occurence I've had at this store was mildly bad... I once heard who I think was the store manager talk abo it another employee and is work ethic to lower staff member & also in front of me during the whole check out. It was pretty uncomfortable for me to hear the conversation but also because the person she was chatting about has just walked outside. Totally awkward. Looking back, maybe I should have said "that sounds like a private conversation ". Live & learn.Good news is!! They are stocked typically! The products themselves are good.

Prices are competitive on some items but many others are higher than area stores. Seems dingy inside. But there seems to be one in every town. Convenient but pricy. Lines can be long and agonizingly slow. Last time I was there one register was operating. Six people in line. Another employee was close by emptying boxes and ignored the line, rather than open up a second register. Enraging.

It would be a great store but there's usually only 1 employee working at the registers while there's 5-10 people in line. School dismissal time in Pine Bush has all of the stores busier so you'd think they'd plan for it. Doesn't matter if you go in between 1:30PM and 4pm there's going to be lines. I was in the store 3rd person in line at checkout the customer and employee were more worried about each other's lives than getting checked out. Then the customer says after checking out oh I needed cigarettes which took another 5 minutes. The next customer had 1 item but was short on money he says to the cashier I'll be right back I have to get it from the car. It literally took him 5 minutes to get it. The cashier could of easily finished ringing him out since he was only short .20 he most likely would have it or cancel the transaction and helping the next person in line. When o got in line to the time I got to the register 9 more people lined up. It hasn't been open very long and the cleanliness has already started going down and it's very disorganized. Things are just thrown every where.

By far, one of the rudest and discriminatory stores ever visited. If you suffer from any disability, especially regarding breathing difficulty with face coverings, DO NOT SHOP here. Several employees targeted and belittled individuals with disabilities. I thought perhaps it was just one nasty employee. Nearly all staff disregard the dignity of individuals in need of accommodations. Also, quite dangerous for someone who are eldely and prone to falls. Store tends to have various obstacles and an overall sense of chaos. Store staff act as bullies in elementary school. It may not be all their faults. It appears this is how they are "trained".*Update: Contacted DG Corporate and filed formal report. After being informed I would be contacted within 24-48hrs - no one reached out. I followed up 5 times, each time told I would recieve a follow up call to address report of Discrimination experienced in tbeir stores - Six weeks later ZERO response. If you are a person in need of accommodation- you will be rejected and ignored. Please protect yourself and otbers from having to experience tbis level of inhumane treatment.

I ran in for one item and waited in line for 20 minutes. Next time I will go to Rite Aid. I'm sure the quality and selection of the mascara would have been much better too! What was I thinking?!

The store is generally fairly clean, but there are always carts of inventory in the aisles regrdless of the time of day. They are often out of stock of several items and do not seem to be consistent overall with what they carry.

Dollar General wouldn't be a bad place if they replace the manager. She belittles her employees in front of customers, abuses her power of being manager and isn't very friendly. I'm thinking the manager needs a new job, I certainly will not be shopping in there anymore and neither will my friends and family until Managerzilla is gone!!!

Dollar General moved into Pine Bush a couple of years ago. This company preys in small towns to drive out local businesses, where these items might be slightly more expensive. Normally, this works out great for the company, not in this case.This shop is depressing, and really feels as if nobody wants to be there. The items on the shelf are incredibly cheap feeling, the food is sugar based only, the prices aren't cheap, and whatever employees their are are so overworked that the store never feels properly managed.About 200 feet away is a Hannaford super market, which has recently added self check out, making it more convenient than this location. Hannafords also tries to help the community, instead of taking jobs from them. My cooking teacher in HS was able to get ingredients because hannfords would work with her. Dollar general doesn't help this community, it takes from it while offering a minimal service.Don't shop here

I normally would like this place, but lately there are rolling carts with stock on them blocking the aisles so you have to walk all the way around to get in. Its so messy and dirty all the time. And I suggest you go around the back of the building with some Kleenex if you need to go potty, because the last 2 times I needed to, it was beyond filth.

The store is well stocked, the Employees are pleasant and helpful. They are Covid19 compliant. I'm personally a fan of Dollar General stores and this particular store is part of the reason.
