My pictures don’t do the justice they should. This was a fantastic meal. Local 111 has a small menu and everything is a winner. My wife and I shared the chicories salad and the croquetas. Then I had the fish of the day, which was trout, and she had the chicken which our waiter, Mariusz, said was his favorite. We are definitely coming back here!

So impressed! Chef is very talented, every bite is so memorable, there is nothing unremarkable about every dish. The cauliflower appetizer was so unique, deep fried cauliflower (but not oily at all) with crispy halumi cheese is to die for. Each of us had the pork belly, short ribs, steak and burger respectively. So so good, beyond words. Service was excellent too. Small place so making reservation ahead will help.

We ate outside and had a lovely dinner. We started off with the cheese bread with local yogurt butter and honey. We also had one of their locally sourced fresh tomato salads. I had the duck cofit and my dining partner had the chicken breast. Both were excellent and came with delicious sides. The menu here is seasonal and changes with what is available locally. The service is great. There is a lot of food so don't order too much and enjoy dessert too.

This is a fantastic restaurant with friendly service, excellent food, and good value for money. Their only flaw is an absurd 20% service charge that the (prix fixe) menu says is included in the price but which actually gets added later — so if you don’t look carefully at the bill you don’t realize you’re paying it on top of the menu price. The meal is totally worth what it costs, but you still feel cheated. A great pity, because this really is an excellent restaurant. (I called them to comment about this, but the person I spoke with was rude and argumentative. I won’t go back.)

The best burgers in town. Thursday is burger night and every week they feature a different burger that is spectacular! The service is outstanding. You can relax and enjoy your meal.

Super fresh, tasty meal! The warm bread with yogurt butter and hot honey was so comforting! If I had to choose my favorite part, would be the demi glacé sauce on my short ribby with the creamy potatoes! #meltAnd followed by theCinnamon~toast~crunch~crispy~apple dessert! And a nice Portugal wine! Looking forward to my next visit

We had a lovely time at Local 111. The host made us feel welcome straight away, and the server took care of us through the whole meal. The food and the drinks were all delicious.Parking: It's just a little tight in the lot, but it is possible to park on the street.

The place is very nice. Unexpected in such a rural area. The drive itself was lovely. Our servers were excellent. The food was disappointing. I, foolishly, ordered the tritrip steak, off the main menu, a cut of meat which is notoriously tough. I must have thought they had a new preparation technique, they didn’t. Sauce of roasted tomatoes was tasty but did not make up for the meat. Potatoes were sort of augratin but blah. My husband had potato crusted chicken which our server said was his fave. It was ok. A pounded out chicken breast with a coating and a bunch of arugula mix strewn across the plate. Pretty good and mine wasn’t great so I sampled. As an appetizer we ordered sourdough cheese bread ( I think it was sourdough) with yogurt butter. Butter was excellent, sits in a small pool of honey. Actually it was the one thing we were happy to bring home.Bottom line, place is nice inside and out.service was very good. Food was ok.

A truly special dining experience. We were rolling off the taconic for dinner and pulled into this sleepy town. We were stunned to find this place. A truly gourmet, foodie meal with wonderful flavors, great service, and fantastic presentation. We will be returning.

I love this place! Hands down the best meal in the greater Hudson area. Such care is taken with each dish quality ingredients, bountiful flavors, layered textures equals a masterpiece for your mouth! The staff are all amazing and thoughtful. All this comes from the top so hats off to Chef owner. In short if you are going to eat out go here!

This place is by far one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The food is never a disappointment, the service is outstanding, great wine list and the ambiance is excellent. Just last night we were there and said it may have been the best meal we have ever had. Everything was prepared to perfection. We also love that they provide fair wages for their staff, a major plus we are always happy to support.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options that are delicious.

Very high quality food. Small restaurant but great atmosphere. The menu is small but changes frequently and of the options that are available it's hard to chose, as they all sound fantastic. The appetizer was amazing, the entree came perfectly on time behind it and was totally on point. It was mouth watering, cooked to perfection, and was a good sized portion. The desert was to no surprise equally as amazing. Highly recommend this place, but it is a quality restaurant and as such the prices are on par with the Quality. You get what you pay for. My only complaint is that they do not serve any actual liquor. This is because they are in too close proximity to a local church and it is technically illegal. We were disappointed to learn this, but quickly overcame it with a delicious local cider. All in all totally worth 5 stars!! Make a reservation!!

Had another amazingly creative and fabulously tasty meal at our favorite spot in the Hudson Valley. I don't know how the chef thinks of these recipes - beyond me, and that's good!

Had dinner at Local 111 last night with my husband - he had not been there in over two years but I had recently and recommended we go. Really delightful meal - generous portions of very fresh food with interesting ingredients served on beautiful plates. Wine list was somewhat limited. Very attentive staff; happy atmosphere. Definitely will go again.

Wonderful! I think our server was Quentin who was just delightful. Efficient, kind, great recommendations. The food was very yummy. I had the fish of the day which was steelhead and it was perfectly cooked as were all of the veggies. I don't drink much anymore but they seem to have an interesting list of cocktails with soju as the base. Looks interesting. I live in Boston but was with family driving and I think the parking lot was a major win, too.

I couldn't give a place a better review. 10/10. Fresh, creative dishes that hit all the spots. It was unique and adventureous but not pretentious. Such fresh quality food, sourced locally and supporting the local community. The chef here really knows her stuff and brings an amazing style that reminds me why I love food so much.Great, friendly, warm service, too.I will be going here every time I am in the area. Loved it so much. Thanks for an amazing, exciting, satisfying meal.

Very pleasant dining here. We usually eat at the bar. Josephine is the most talented chef in the area. Although I can't say I've loved everything I've ever ordered, the food can be astonishingly good. Try one of her slightly quirky sounding specials. It might be just pretty good. Or it might be a meal you will long remember.

The chef is very talented, and we’ve eaten here many times. What I don’t like is now they include a 20% service charge for staff, but the bill also includes check boxes for a 15%, 20% and 25% tip. It’s confusing. Most restaurants that do this have an “extra gratuity” line in case you want to add a little more but this arrangement makes it seem like 35% is the baseline tip.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. Hidden gem. Salad was mind blowing and I don’t even like salad usually.

We dined out on the patio recently on a Friday evening. The entire dining experience exceeded our expectations. From the reservation, to the greeting, to the service, drinks, appetizer, and our entrees. Menu offered a nice variety of selections. Portions were ample (took doggie bags home). We were stuffed so opted out of the desserts. Looking forward to our next visit.

I really enjoy coming to this delightful place for dinner. The food is excellent and the service is extremely good. They like to support local producers too, an added bonus for us. They have a nice bar and a selection of local and other wines and beers. And, I think the price is right. Enjoy!

My partner and I were very disappointed in the food and felt it lacked flavor and quality for the high prices plus 4% surcharge for the service.I found my meal of Lamb Ragu very greasy and lacking in any flavor and my tuna appetizer was also a big disappointment and seemed like canned tuna, not even the greens had any taste. My partners fried chicken was one piece of chicken for $26., which would have been fine if it were edible. It was extremely tough and he could barely eat any of it. In hindsight, he should have sent it back. In fact, all of the food should have gone back.It was a waste of the $160. dollar for two bill. We would not recommend this place and they should seriously consider a new chef and total menu overhaul. Save your money and cook your own fried chicken at home. Two big thumbs down.
