My complaint is for corporate!!! You should really get air conditioning in the Philadelphia store as a customer no one likes trying to buy or look around with it being so HOT. Your employees deserve better they all look like they wanna drop of heat stroke! PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!

Cigarette smoke blasts you in the face the minute you walk INTO the store, not approach from the outside, this smell is actually inside the store. I'd say it comes from the workers smoking, but it's rare to ever see anyone working there. The store is filthy, the ceiling was leaking at my last visit, and there are so many stocking carts in the aisles that the carts don't fit through. It's really a shame that the nearest store to me, where I would do the most business, is the worst in the area. Absolutely cannot stand the cigarettes so we won't be back.

Not giving 5 stars because there's often carts left in the aisles from the employees restocking. One aisle is okay, but I've been in there before when it was nearly every one..couldn't get what I needed in the store without pushing empty boxes and stock carts out of the way. Love the convenience of a local store and the friendly atmosphere, but it's disappointing when the store is sometimes impossible to walk through. If you're between Philly and Theresa I recommend the Theresa Dollar general instead, it's well organized and has never left me disappointed.

WHEN YOUR HOURS ARE UNTIL 9 ... YOU SHOULD PROBABLY NOT F@#$*& TELL CUSTOMERS YOURE CLOSED BEFORE 9 ... NO WONDER THEY GO THRU SO MANY MANAGERS. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR STORE IS THE WORST DG AROUND THE AREA!!!

The store has horrible health concerns for families. The customer service agents smoke outside the door where the public inners the store. The customer service agents when you’re cashing out of your items smell like smoke and you can smell the nicotine of the smoking by these agents. And while you’re waiting in line for a long time waiting for a cashier they always say that their stocking items while you’re waiting a long time in line. It must be the standard of the store to not be concerned with the public health of their customers. So it is a free country to express our opinion and I will not shop there anymore, Many people who stand in the line along with myself have smelled the very strong smell of nicotine from cigarettes, it must be the standard of the store and the employees who work there that they don’t have no concern for the public health of there Customers

My store is great so our my employees! We work hard to keep our store clean and stocked. Our store isnt dirty and our employees aren't rude.... most all our customers tell us on a daily how great we are and how much they love our store, those are the opinions that matter to us..

The manager that was on yesterday afternoon was very unpleasant. She was covering the register and was doing stuff at the back of the store not paying any mind to the front. She was wearing headphones and a customer had to go get her because there was a line and she wasnt coming to cash people out. Then when she got to the front she was very rude with the customers and still wearing the headphones so she couldn't even here when people where asking her questions.

Store is a mess, backroom door open and bricked with freight, while three associates catch up on personal business. The cashier turned his back to me several times while ringing up my one item to continue his personal conversation with the two other associates. Not even a hello your total is have a nice day. So glad that's not my payroll being wasted.

Dont like attitudes of manager when they discipline employees in front of customers. But store is ways clean and well stocked. Associates are very friendly.

The store is a problem--nice help but messed up merchandise--a lot of bare spots & goods are in most aisles on gondolas,not on the shelfs--it has been this way along time.it comes across to me that they have no hours to run the store properly.It is in a small shopping center on a main route (11)

Has gone downhill the last couple of years. There was a crazy anti masker cashier that started in in me over masks because I was wearing one. Isles frequently blocked.

It's so sad that when a customer supports their local store, the manager and staff treat their customers like dirt, not willing to help, the store isn't clean, the stores shelves are NOT faced off, the isles are always cluttered, all they want to do is be outdoors to smoke and not do their jobs!

Typical Dollar General store. It overcrowded with merchandise & this store is usually busy with only 1 cashier but the staff are nice.
