It's a great store but for the last 6 months, the smoke detectors have been beeping non stop. I feel bad for the employees that have to listen to that annoying sound, let alone customers. Please replace much needed batteries.

I like this store but their system updates at very inopportune times!! I felt bad for the nice gal behind the counter because this update slowed the register to a crawl.. fortunately, both patrons were nice and understanding!! Other than this little road bump, all is good!

This location use to be neat, clean and you could walk the isles and find what you need. Now it’s messy, empty shelves with items all in boxes blocking isles, not put away, and things on the floor. It’s a mess and a disgrace!

I almost love this store.... It's so awesome for spot shopping and it's reasonable too. If I'm not in the mood for dealing with a bunch of people I'll go here. Almost no one in there. Never waiting long and the employees there are cool AF. So please don't start going here and giving the workers here a bunch a flack.

This location seems to always have what I’m looking for…. I fully Understand that in the world we live in there will be shortages and delays that are beyond the control of the store employees. I’m always greeted, thanked , and never have a problem getting though the aisles. Enjoy shopping in a clean store as well.

It's exactly what you'd expect from a Family Dollar store. Staff are always nice and friendly and the place usually seems neat and clean. I think of it as a place I stop into when I'm in a hurry and only need one thing and don't want or need to run all the way to WalMart. Prices and selection are better than a gas station or convenience store and it's conveniently located. I don't pay much attention to the flyers and plan ahead before I come in, but when I've peeked at them, it seems like they have some decent sales and deals, too. Convenient place to grab a few things in the little town of Phelps :)

They never answer the phone how's someone that lives twenty minutes away supposed to find out if they have something in stock without having to drive there to check. The store is never clean or organized either.

This specific family dollar is in the most optimal location for pretty much all of my needs. The intersection in front of it makes it great for local on the run, fast paced, or even just shopping with no time restraints. I can't give enough praise as to how important this store's location is for me. Idk about you, but I don't trust a whole lot of sites like Amazon with my credit card info. So anytime I want to buy something on Amazon (Which is pretty much any time) that isn't in the store, I can safely walk or bike to this family dollar with 20 or so dollars in cash and purchase an Amazon gift card for myself to keep myself feeling safe. Since I spend a lot of my free time playing video games, I tend to buy a lot of gift cards from here for sites like STEAM and PlayStation Network in order to keep my info safe. It's also in my nature to bring a little extra dough with me in case I'm feeling in the mood for snacks. Overall the staff members are friendly and do their jobs well.

It's a pretty typical dollar store, but they have their own product brand (Family Gourmet). Lots of "crap", but a good variety of more common product brands too, and you can usually find those odds and ends you need in a pinch. Prices are on par with other dollar stores in that they're slightly higher for some things, slightly lower for others. Friendly staff. Could use more than 1 checkout person at a time on occasion, but most of the wait times are very minimal.

I love using the Family Dollar app when I shop at the store. Last week I saved around ten dollars on a forty five dollar order just by using coupons! That's a good deal to me!

Brian is the most awesome store manager ever. This store is ALWAYS clean, which cannot be said of other stores in the area. Lol, I don't know what Phelps would do without Family $.

It's alright for forgotten things and Christmas stocking stuffers. Not a healthy place to buy groceries. Nothing fresh and all processed. Also they don't use local foods. They buy dairy from out of state when we have a thriving industry here.
