Excellent place! I'm home on vacation from Georgia and my sister and I stopped by for breakfast and lemme tell you what... The food was delicious and the service was great!! I definitely recommend the buffalo chicken omelette super tasty 😋 definitely recommend and 👍🏻👍🏻

This is a great little place in a small village (hamlet). Don't make the mistake my wife and I made by bringing a picnic lunch with us on our visit to the Gerrit Smith Estate. Instead head right to the General Store for lunch. After our picnic we headed over for ice cream and other goodies. Great people, great service.

Mice little general store to stop at ...few seats in the front more seating In the back portion.... a variety of items to shop and look at..... Eggs Brown overcooked English muffin undercooked......

I ordered the covered roast beef sandwich and the reuben and they were both delicious. The store is adorable and fun to look around. I also bought the sausage, which is very good.

I've stopped there twice now once for ice cream and once for a sandwich if it wasn't for covid-19 I would think the place would do quite well as a little diner and a place to sit out back just a little outside of canastota nice nice stop on your way to Morrisville or route 20
