Love this little store. Went in under the new "management!" One can no longer wire with Western Union. That's sad since so many of our local farm workers use it to cash checks and send money. Management was hovering everwhere when they reopened...even made me uncomfortable. I'm sure its going to be run by greedy, self centered corporate jerks.

Our go to local market. Good selection. Excellent meats. Very friendly employees. I went to get a few groceries this morning. Tops in Peru opens early for seniors. I immediately felt an overwhelming sense of peace and kindness. Everyone in the store, staff and shoppers shared space, comfort and encouragement. Thank you to the workers who are literally putting their lives on the line to serve their customers. Thank you to the fine people I met in the store. We all shared our stories and a sense of optimism for the future.

Everybody's so friendly at tops prices are fair and they always have specials like their 5 for 25 meat special. Store stocked with a lot of popular brands at a reasonable price. And you don't have to go all the way to Plattsburgh to do your shopping. I especially enjoy their meat counter they have a lot of selection and good cuts of meat.

Smaller store but the friendly service makes up for it. Always have awesome deals and can get hot fresh food or a great sub at the deli and fresh donuts or pastries. Highly recommend to try at least once!

This grocery store is one of the last of its kind. While it carries a lot of basic produce and non-perishable items there's not much for variety as it's small. A great place if you're camping nearby to get the basics needed for eating on a campfire such as hotdogs, hamburgers, and Smores...they also carry sundry items like soap, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner (but again not too many choices) also keep track of prices because of they're limited.

Prices are good on sales items. Some of the regular prices are a little pricer then other larger grocery stores. It is very convenient for its area since other stores are at least a 15 min drive. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lines are ussualy short and quick.

Basic local grocery store. They have many different foods for your needs. The prices are overpriced, but it's also not a large retail chain. They meat is very fresh and cut daily. They also offer a wide variety of 5 for $20 items, including steaks and chicken and some pre-packaged items, such as pizza, french fries and mini corn dogs.

Wondering why you can't keep snapple lemon ice tea stocked bought 4 bottles last Wednesday shelf a week later still has not been restocked cashier said there delivery truck came in late. So that tops knows snapple is stocked by the Pepsi distributor it doesn't come on there delivery truck so not only is the Pepsi man not doing his job . The cashiers is lying to the customers. Good way to keep customers I'll go to market 32 or wal Mart from now on . For a small store in a small town you'd think they're work to keep there customers . Guess I was thinking wrong apparently. You'll close like grand union did keep up the great work

It's great, especially if you dont want to drive to Walmart (about the same price, Tops is a little more expensive) Staff are friendly and helpful. Also, get some of their reusable bags #totelife.

It doesn't matter if I go to the tops store in Peru, New York or Elizabethtown New York they never have the items in stock that are in the weekly sales paper. If they are out of a sales item they're out no substitute or raincheck. I have a better shopping experience going to Save A Lots.

Sometimes they don't have what I need in stock and the Wic items that are covered by Wic they didn't have so why accept Wic if you can't cover all of Wic? Lol frustrating but overall their out there if you need something quick in a pinch

Having a Tops card can land a few decent deals. However, this is not a store regular shopping is recommended due to being a bit pricey.

Convenient, nice folks. Unfortunately its VERY expensive as its the only source of groceries in Peru. It serves in a pinch tho if I don't want to drive very far.
