This vineyard is really special. It is truly family-run and operated, and the family is lovely, hospitality is clearly in their DNA. We took a tour, which was led by the owner, started with glasses of sparkling wine, and included him pouring us a glass directly out of the barrel - see picture for evidence! :) We had a charcuterie board with our wine tasting which was amazing, as were the wines! The views are beautiful, it’s right on the lake. The indoor space is also cozy and thoughtfully designed. You would be missing out not to stop by this vineyard while you’re in Finger Lakes.

A really lovely selection of wine. I would recommend doing a sampler. The view is spectacular over the lake. You can see the sail boats go by in the distance. There is an outdoor bar and outdoor seating, as well as indoor. It looked like there was a little garden off to the side where one could take some scenic pictures. The staff were very friendly and on top of things.

In the area "glamping" at Sampson and wanted to try some area wineries that we hadn't been to before. Based on reviews, we wanted to try out Anthony Road Wine Company.Upon arrival you are greeted inside the door by friendly staff that explains what they offer as well as seating options. We chose to be outside where they had a food truck (there on a Saturday). They also have an area setup for Halloween that was pretty unique and worth the walk over to checkout. One item that was really nice is they have an area with grape vines (labeled by variety). You can pick them off the vine and try them! The wines were refreshing and the stop enjoyable!

Personally felt that this winery was more modern and less quaint compared to wineries I’ve typically visited. It is still a beautiful spot. I prefer choosing different types of wines to taste rather than choosing from a pre-existing bundle, but still a great tasting. Super clean, and super sweet staff!

Anthony Road Wine Company is a very modern venue with a medium sized boho style tasting room. Flights are only served indoors as guests may only take their wine outside if they purchase it by the glass. A 5 sample flight and a small glass pitcher of water is served by very modest and knowledgeable staff. After your tasting you are free to roam the garden which is highly recommended if you stop here.

This place is a must. I stopped by on a whim and was absolutely floored by how wonderful it was. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There's a large amount of wines to choose from, and I would struggle to name one I didn't like. The setting is really cute and calm. Love the plants.I bought a lot more than I planned, but I absolutely don't regret it.

My wife and I had an appt for a tasting and it was such a great experience. Morgan our, flight attendant, was super attentive and so knowledgeable. We had 3 flights and ended up buying 3 bottles of their wine. We then sat outside to enjoy the food from the Flip Side food truck. Delicious Filipino food with some more wine from AR. Definitely recommend if you like a relaxed and simple experience. Amazing views were a bonus.

Great views, friendly fast service!!! The wines were amazing, along with the meat and cheese selections. We stayed dry as we watched a thunderstorm roll over Seneca lake

Anthony Road was the first winery stop of the Finger Lakes. It was late so didn't do a tasting but went straight to the 2019 Vignoles (the BEST of the 3 vignoles tasted at other wineries on the trip). The property was beautiful (kinda wish it wasn't winter) and for the short time there, the service was great! Of course covid measures were fully observed

We had a superb time visiting Anthony Road - it’s an elegant but welcoming space. We had tasting reservations indoors and thoroughly enjoyed each of our tastings. Then our group got a glass each and headed outside for the lake front views and to explore the garden. There were various grapes and tomatoes for visitors to sample.

Anthony Road is one of my favorite wineries because of their excellent customer service and I love the wines, of course! Natalie is always friendly and helpful with our selections. I never leave without a bottle of Rose of Cabernet Franc. I like the wines so much I became a club member.

Enjoyed Potato chip tasting. The wines I ordered are for a similar event for the American Wine Society to be held in March.

My wife and I visited for the Rose in May event last week. The woman at the register who greeted us was warm and friendly. Our server not so much. The wines were good. We explained to the server that my wife wasn’t a dry rose fan and if we could swap a few of the wines for sweet options. She sulked and walked away as if it were a big hassle. The one employee did offer my wife a Late Harvest Vignole sample which she liked. Other wineries were accommodating. We were displeased with our server and left half way through our tasting. I would have given 3.5 stars but that wasn’t an option!

This winery has the best wine tasting presentation of all the wineries we stopped by. Beautiful garden, tasteful & spacious wine tasting room with interesting soil map. I’m quite fond of their Riesling.

With so many wineries on Seneca Lake it is hard to pick a favorite, but Anthony Road is certainly in our top five. Nice people. Beautiful, clean facility with a pretty view. And the wine is good too.

Such a wonderful experience! Delicious wines, lovely and attentive staff, kid and dog friendly while still quiet and elegant. Beautiful garden and the largest milkweed plot we’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to return.

This was the second of four wineries we visited. It was listed as tending toward more organic/natural practices. It does have an adorable, well-labeled garden out back with many food and pollinator plants and a charming grape arbor, but we were unable to discover any details of their growing practices because the server, though she said she had worked there for many years, did not know.We called ahead for a reservation and they had space for us immediately. The tasting room was gorgeous: a large, high-ceilinged space open to the outside. There were a few other occupied tables but they were far enough away and the space was open enough to the outside that we were comfortable in these times of COVID. They had a number of interesting flights as well. I chose one that showcased two grapes in different styles (Riesling and Gewurztraminer with and without skin contact and one barrel aged). Unfortunately the wines were undistinguished. One tasted strongly unpleasant to me. This was the only of the three natural wineries where we did not buy any bottles to take home.Still, there was a large selection and we tried only a few, so perhaps other of their wines are better. The experience itself was very pleasant, and I loved the garden, so I would consider giving them another chance, researching the wines beforehand to know which to choose.

Perfect in every way!Natalee was such a pleasure to work with. I organized a group getaway for 20 friends. I had my heart set on a wine dinner. After calling multiple wineries that could not accommodate our group I reached out to Natalee at Anthony Road and she was happy to entertain my request. I read such positive reviews but had no idea that we were in for such a spectacular treat. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our experience. The winery is just beautiful. We arrived at sunset and were able to enjoy the gardens. The artwork and decor are exquisite. The table setting was right out of a magazine. The food and the wine were beyond amazing and perfectly paired. The chef was kind enough to come out and answer questions about how he prepared our meal and tell us about the local ingredients that he used. I just can’t say enough about Anthony Road Wine Company. Thank you Natalee and staff for a job well done.

Had a very lovely afternoon here with my Mom, sisters, and niece. They handled their tasting service very well amidst COVID regulations. I brought home a bottle of their Riesling. Very good wine! And scenery was beautiful to. My young niece had plenty of space to run around and explore their garden while we enjoyed our wine.

We headed over to Anthony Road Winery on 7/30 and were greeted and seated quickly for a tasting. There are a number of tasting flights to choose from, depending on your palate. I did two of the flights and my husband did one and then ordered a full glass. The space itself is lovely and very modern. The back of the winery looks out over the vineyard and beyond that, the lake, which makes for a beautiful view. The tasting is well done and reminded us of some of the tastings we did in Italy, where a mat is placed in front of you and the glasses placed on the mat above a description of each of the wines you are trying. The flights are delivered with some crackers for clearing the palate in between and our server was attentive and informative, describing each wine carefully and with detail. We enjoyed chatting with her about her passion for wine and the region. The wines were quite good and we enjoyed many of them - particularly the dry riesling, the vignoles, and the pinot gris, as well as the unoaked chardonnay and the rose. After your tasting flight, you can take a seat outside with a glass and order some charcuterie. On the day we were there, a food truck was on the premises (My Eva) serving Mexican food. We had a DELICIOUS chicken quesadilla that we took to go for the road. A little greasy, but so well seasoned, cheesy and delicious. Yum! Overall, a great experience at Anthony Road - would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

My daughter and I have made a point of visiting all the wineries on the west side of Seneca Lake. This review is specifically for Bravery 2017 Cab Franc. This wine which bears the subtitle, Celebrating the Hero in You, is a very special experience. While it's an easy pleasure to associate the wine, and the effort that went into its creation, with our veterans, it goes further - like most vets - by exemplifying excellence. The tasting starts with a berry-forward, black cherry greeting, rounded into pepper, followed by rich chocolate and coffee. It's a great wine for sharing over the holidays, gifting to someone special, or sharing over pizza, steak, or dessert.I do need to point out that you cannot taste this wine at Anthony Road, nor can you buy a glass; at this point you have to buy it on faith. This is something I hope they will correct soon. This wine is worthy.

This is one of the better wineries on Seneca but definitely not one of my favorites. Reason being is that with the good location and great views I am not particularly big fan of their wines. Some of my friends are. The wines are aromatic but too much on the sweeter side with low acidity, which is great for Catawba, Vignoles, and the like but for Riesling it's not enough for me.I do love their late harvest and ice wines though. Very few places around have it similar or better.

Best Winery in New York! We love the down to earth unpretentious atmosphere of this winery. We have been visiting them for 26 of their 28 years. Order a glass of your favorite after your tasting and relax on the terrace while you enjoy your wine.
