I go here every week to buy my regular groceries because of the great prices. I have always experienced great customer service here, the manager (I think her name is Ashley) has done an outstanding job on more than one occasion.

Penn Yan's Aldi is one of the most consistently clean and well kept stores I've ever been to. I've never experienced a rude employee, have almost never seen an empty spot on any shelf, the produce and meat selection and quality is great 95% of the time, AND they have curbside and delivery options! We've used the curbside twice now. Both times the pick-up times were as early as 1.5 hours after the order is placed, and today's was ready even sooner. The bagging is perfect, no items missed etc. My great experiences and the hours and stress this service has saved me motivated me to write the review. Thank you PY Aldi, for giving us such a clean, organized, nice place to shop

Nice store but SOME of the younger staff are a very dismissive and rude when you ask questions. You ask questions and they don’t even look at you or even bother assisting. Without even searching everything their response is, “no”. However all else is excellent and a lot of the older staff are very helpful. They go out of their way to help you. I am pleased with them.

I shop here all the time. The store is always clean and the employees are really nice. The self-check is a huge plus for me because I make small trips and don't have to wait in line behind people with larger orders.

The blatant ageist profiling and disrespect from the employees in ridiculous and not worth the trouble of shopping there.If someone who doesn't look older uses self checkout the cashier named Rebecca (shown below with manager Devon) will use her ageist profiling and accuse them of stealing which I witnessed first hand today. Today I witnessed Rebecca stop working her own register (which was loaded with people) to stare at and watch a customer at self checkout. She then proceeded to ask the customer if they scanned their items, ultimately accusing them of stealing. When the customer responds "Yes would you like to come check?" The cashier, Rebecca, declined to check. When the customer was done shopping and went to their car Devon the manager came out claiming Rebecca had sent him and claimed a customer was yelling in her face.Devon waited for the customer to return their cart and then proceeded to go to the customers car and attempted to intimidate the customer.The fact the employees made such a scary experience for someone and then acted like some sort of body guard when the customer was clearly open and willing to have Rebecca come check just shows how this cult of an Aldi functions.I also witnessed several older generation customers using self check out. All of which were not asked if they scanned their items as Rebecca targeted a young adult just trying to do his job and then sent her manager to attack him in the parking lot when she was unsatisfied with her own bullying.I've shopped here a few times as an Instacart Delivery Employee and have not had a problem with this store until today. Employees make or break the experience I guess.Side note: as always with Aldi they have one person working the register with a line of 20people.

I hadn't been in an Aldi in many years and was surprised with the new look. Lots of selection with a minimalist look. Was impressed. One thing I didn't know was the bring your own bag thing. So, I'm all checked out, my stuff is at the end of the register, and there are no bags. I said where are the bags? She said under there, I said under where, she said, "You said underwear!". No, that'd been funny. She pointed them out and i took one. She said are you going to pay for that? And i said this is New York state, pretend it's a protest and I'm expressing myself.

Wide selection of choices. Unfortunately, stocks are getting a little less large but due to the current issues, they are doing their best. I also love the weekly items system. Its cool to have that, and they have some very neat stuff. Cashiers here are also very friendly.

I'm always impressed with the great selection of healthy food options specially if you are looking to try something new & don't want to pay a fortune for it just to find out if you love it or hate it! My cart was so full & was pleasantly surprised at the cost. If I would have went anywhere else I would have paid double or even triple for all the good, healthy food I got. Its nice to have this option in such a small town when so many other options are closing these days.

They have a pretty good variety of stuff. Produce needs to be eaten quickly, prices are goid. I don't like the Clancy brand. It looks like the name brand stuff but doesn't taste like it

Always a great place to get in/out quick, no matter how long a line. Parking a bit more difficult right now, but that is expected as they are preparing for renovations. I am just glad they are keeping it it open as long as they can before they have to temporarily close to finish up!

Bizarre experience! They have what they have which, is usually not what you want. Whether it's having to pay 25 cents for a cart, the odd people who work there, or having to pay for bags - avoid this place. Do yourself a favor and go down the road to Topps. Gave them one star because the parking is excellent. You'll always get a great spot because you're the only fool who chose to go.

What's there not to love about Aldi's? Great food for great prices. Very easy to find stuff. Love this store do most of my shopping here. Don't be shy of the diapers they sell here if you need some. They hold up great we love them and the price is great too.

I have had very good luck with trying several store brand products at Aldis. They have a great frozen food section and a wide variety of foods. I like the holiday foods and cheeses they offer, produce has been very good. The people are very helpfull and you can't beat the prices!

This was a very nice store to shop at. It was very clean inside and outside including the bathrooms and it was handicap accessible. I like shopping at Aldi because there is plenty of room to get up and down the aisle especially with the wheelchair. The prices are great and I love finding products that I can't find in other stores and new things to try that they always have. The staff was very friendly and very helpful

It's a good place to shop. Store is clean. I find the milk doesn't keep long after purchase before it spoils. Need to watch produce as well. They do give double back garentee if customer isn't happy with a spoiled product.

More and more people are finding this place to be a very affordable alternative to the larger, more expensive grocery stores. There is a nice variety of foods, but not always what you need. They have great, large premade pizzas that are ready to cook and taste great! Large variety of bread, including sour dough bread. They have grapeseed extract oil at a great price, which is another favorite of our family. The only downfall is sometimes the check out lines are long.

The prices are fantastic! If you're not familiar with Aldi, you need a quarter (refundable) to get a cart and bring your own shopping bags (or purchase there or use the cardboard boxes they have). There are lots of items that they regularly sell, but some of my favorites are only available intermittently. A lot of the items are as good or better than name brand - ketchup, cottage cheese, Brie, cereal, etc. It's recommended to shop here first and then go elsewhere just in case they don't have everything that you need.
