I’ve used this store for ages because it’s right around the corner from me. We had a family member unexpectedly go into the hospital, & in the chaos, we ran out of dog food. I placed a curbside order to be able to grab on my way home, but due to some unexpected updates at the hospital, I left later than planned. I was crossing my fingers I could make it prior to 6:00 to avoid having to go to a different pet store in Victor for our dogs food. I ended up arriving at the store right at 5:59. (Closing at 6:00). I absolutely *hated* being that person, but it had been a rough week. I didn’t grab a name, but the younger guy working was so kind and compassionate bringing my order out to me right at 6:00. I apologized up and down for being that person, and he was so kind. Having worked retail prior, I know how much you want to close up right on time. This week just got the best of us, and having such a friendly face after a tough day was much appreciated. If you can find out who was locking up at 6:00, please thank him for me! I didn’t want to go into all the details with him, but his kindness was the highlight of a very rough week.

Unfortunately, I didn't get names but a young man stocking shelves helped me find good cat food to try for GI issues. I didn't even have to go looking for help, he approached me. The young man at the register (arm in a sling) is always so nice when I come in. I usually find what I need and everyone is both nice and knowledgeable.

Had both my dogs (Shih tzu and Shih tzu mix) come in for a full service groom with Vanessa and she was amazing! She was very understanding and when I couldn’t get ahold of my vet to prove my dogs had their rabies shots she let me reschedule an hour later with no charge or hassle. She truly did a wonderful job!

The fish at this pet shop are amazing! They have a great selection of fish. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and are always happy to help. The fish are always healthy and well-cared for. I highly recommend this pet shop to anyone looking for a great fish experience.Fish are a type of aquatic animal that live in water. They are often cold-blooded, meaning their internal temperature varies based on the temperature of their surroundings. Stopped in with my dog and asked if they could trim her nails. The people in the grooming area were really nice and helpful. They were able to take her right away, so I shopped for a new rubber flying disc (Frisbee). They were very kind to my pet and were able to file the nails too. Will use them again.

My sleepy girl Dez after getting groomed by Erica!!! She has been doing my girl for a few times now and she has been awesome with me as a pet parent telling me everything she did to her and does an awesome job with my girl!!!!! Dez has a rough time with her paws getting done and her nails done and I have no issues when Erica grooms her!!!! If I can recommend any one there to get there dog groomed it would be her!!! Thanks Erica so much for everything!!!!!

For pet store, it's a good place to go. They had the Seresto collars that we needed for our dogs. They also provided us the current discounts without us having to use an app or a flyer or anything which was very much appreciated.

My Golden has a sensitivity to Chicken, and has a sensitive stomach, The vet said to try Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach, well all the stores are out. Coming in and explaining my situation they immediately showed me my options. Totally honest and said I can sell you the most expensive stuff buy there is a brand that is better, limited ingredients and absolutely no chicken... I got it and my dog loves it and no issues...

First, I have never once seen the same groomers working there. Anyway, this time I brought in my dog to have his fur trimmed and they completely shaved him, leaving dozens of tiny cuts on his skin all over. I've taken him here numerous times, but this is the first time anyone felt the need to completely remove ALL his fur. In addition, what has always cost around $65 dollars ballooned up to $100 with weird new charges. The groomer said he had fleas, so charged extra for flea shampoo when we know he did not have fleas because he's white and my wife combs his fur every night, so it would be pretty evident if he had them. In any case, since she removed ALL his fur, there was nothing to wash. There was a "pre-shave" charge, even though the decision to shave him was hers, not ours. All in all, such a horrible experience that we'll never bring him back here.

Would have given 5 stars, dogwash was under construction last time I went.Other than that, I haven't had any complaints. One of the cashiers can be kind of chatty.... she really likes my dog.Everyone is usually very helpful, and (obviously) my dog loves visiting. 😊

I do not recommend Erica the groomer. I dropped my pet off for a grooming and I left. When I got to my car, I remembered that I had to pick up a few necessities so I went back in to the store to purchase them and I’m guessing Erica did not know I was present. All of a sudden I hear screaming and yelling at my dog. She was yelling at her so loud that I heard her in the back of the store. My dog is still a puppy, and is obviously anxious since it’s only her 3rd visit to the groomer. Instead of making her feel safe and comfortable, she was yelling at the top of her lungs “Get OFF ME!!” And “NO,STOP!” “GET OFF NOW” “I SAID NO” but all in a loud aggressive tone . My puppy doesn’t understand those commands and any experience ld groomer would realize that screaming aggressively would only scare her.I will never take any of my pets bask to Erica again. I advise anyone to try another location. She traumatized my dog .

Brought my little dog in for grooming and I regret it so much! Her fur was cut super choppy (gashes and unevenness). She was already short haired to begin with. I would have been better off doing it myself. Absolutely terrible job and will never take my dog into get groomed. I’m quite disappointed. Also, must add that I had to go over missed areas myself with scissors and clippers. That’s very stressful for the dog.Normally, I would rate this location 5 stars for excellent customer service despite often not having products available. Unfortunately, the grooming service should not be offered at this location.

Erica groomed my dog Leo and took great care of him. He’s 11 years old and this is probably his best haircut ever! Took extra care to clean his ears really well and take out a few mattes he had. Great job!

Love coming here!! The first night we got our puppy, one of the staff members educated us on all of our options for food and treats. He told us what to look for and what to avoid. It was nice to work with someone that clearly knows what they're talking about, especially being a new pet owner. Thank you!

Pet Supplies Plus in Penfield is a wonderful store. They have a nice selection of toys and food. I bought a male parakeet from them in October. He is a happy, healthy little bird and we adore him. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this store to everyone.
