A very nice farm stand/ farmers market on the North Fork, LI. The produce is beautiful and they also have a few local products as well as those made in the farm in their small store including cheeses, crackers, kombucha and other beverages, sauces, pickles (including kimchee). They also sell herb plants and ornamental plants as well. Would be a good stop if you were looking to cook a farm fresh meal.

The best organic farm! I've been going there for many years, always friendly helpful staff. The veggies are amazing, The CSA is a great deal. You get some of the best vegetables & I have tried some I never heard of before that were wonderful.

An absolute treasure on the North Fork of Long Island.. Sang Lee Farms is a local institution, known for having some of the best quality food, organic produce, and products around.. On our most recent visit we found way more than we were looking for.. A beautiful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, some delicious baked goods and one of the best bottles of kombucha I’ve purchased in quite a while.. The employees here are kind and knowledgeable, always quick to help you out.. One of our favorite things about Sang Lee?? The picnic tables, benches and playground, all nestled into the shaded areas of the farm, perfectly placed to enjoy some food and a few moments of relaxation before you hit the road.. If you’re on the North Fork and looking for some quality fresh produce, do yourself a favor and stop by Sang Lee Farms..

I love the selection of produce here. I am not the biggest fan of their ready-made food but their fruits and veggies are always fresh. I am bound to discover a new vegetable that I have never used which makes this an exciting location for anyone who likes to cook.It can be expensive at times, but I love being able to support local, organic farmers. The girls that work here are so nice and are understanding of your budget if you need to take an item out of your cart. They are also very knowledgeable and can provide you with cooking recommendations or describe unfamiliar varieties to you. There are so many fun and colorful veggies here that I cannot help but think “nature’s candy” is a real thing.Besides produce, sang lee also offers potted herbs, veggies, and other plants. Not to mention, they also offer a list of rotating workshops for people who want to discover more about the world plants.

None of the organic farms on the North Fork come close to delivering the spectacular produce Sang Lee does. Taste their organic ginger (tender not fibrous), bok choy, watermelon, corn, kohlrabi, or Korean Moo. It will change your life. No I'm not kidding. They are passionate about what they do and no one does it better. Their field clinic on growing tomatoes was terrific. If you have a garden, I recommend their Brandywine variety which grows large, delicious tomatoes. This was the first summer I brought a plant home and have been eating the most amazing tomatoes all summer. Though I'm not an experienced grower I am an experienced cook and stop by the stand for what's new and fresh every chance I get. Their organic potted herbs are also amazing, especially the potted rosemary. I'd give these guys ten stars if I could.

This is the most amazing place. A bit pricey but worth it. Their fresh ginger puts the supermarket variety to shame. I have used it to make ginger-fried rice and I have put it in tea. It slices so easily and tastes great. I wish I could buy its ginger every week. Their cucumbers and tomatoes are glorious. And the ginger-scallion dip is addictive. To top it off, the service is courteous and fast. Whenever I go to the East End, a trip to Sang Lee is a must.

The absolute best organic farm! Amazing produce, plants, and the few items they make (salad dressings, pasta sauces, soups) are delicious and super healthy. These people really care about the earth and your health. I love this place and the tomato bins in last Summer and early Fall are incredible!

Love this farm! This is the second season we bought their herbs to grow in our backyard. They are always so healthy and delicious. When we visited this season, COVID-19 was (and still is) a concern. They were very thoughtful about providing gloves, hand sanitizers, and creating rules regarding how many people can shop and park. I really appreciate that the health of their customers as well as their staff is of utmost importance. Will definitely be back again!

Good farm food, drinks, plants for sale. The lavender and turmeric lattes are really good. They have a variety of homemade ice teas and scones too...some really good scones! It's dog friendly too with a little trail path to walk.

It's like stepping into an alternate universe where everyone is friendly and beautiful and the produce is perfect, fresh and delicious. There are samples of the different offerings for you to try and compare. The selections is outstanding, interesting and different. White cucumbers, fresh garlic, squash blossoms, petty pan squash. There is no supply chain or worry about. No guessing about ripeness or freshness. It is straight from mother earth to your kitchen. (if it even makes it to the kitchen nom nom nom)

I used to love this farm and would always recommend it to others, especially their CSA program. However, this farm seems to be going downhill as they are growing in popularity. Sang Lee was already expensive, and throughout the years they have become more expensive.I have witnessed first-hand their CSA get more pricey, rising in price and not becoming more affordable. Now it's at the point I will not be purchasing a CSA share from them because the cost is rising too high for my budget and there are no customization options available, like other farms give. While I used to get the full share, last year I purchased the partial share because it's only for one other person and me. Weekly, we would get more of what the farm had as surplus and not the needed staples, such as lettuce. While the full, which gives too much, had lettuce almost every time. I didn't like that I had to buy the full, which risks produce going bad because I can't eat it that quick, just to get the staples. Also, both of us also noted that the quality of their produce in these shares had gone down from previous years when they only had one size for their CSA.Luckily the amount of organic farms is growing on Long Island and others offer produce, products, and their CSA at a much more reasonable price, and their produce is just as good. Their farm staff used to be much friendlier, but last season I ran into a lot of rude workers. Young kids that would huddle around the produce, talking to each other about non-work subjects as people were shopping, when they should have been working. I would get dirty looks when I would say excuse me so I could pick what I wanted to buy like I was disturbing them. Last year for the first time I experienced "roll of the dice" while buying watermelon. In years past they had stickers on their watermelon, but last year when I went they had them organized into three sections, one for each color. But there were no stickers on them. I purchased what I thought was one of each, but once I cut them I realized I got all reds. Clearly, the watermelons were not organized correctly and there's no way to double check since there's no sticker. I tried to confirm with a staff member, but they were no help. If I am spending an arm and a leg on a watermelon, I should be able to get the watermelon that I want. Which was such a disappointment because they do have very good watermelon, but for that price, you need the service to match. Especially when I drive over an hour to visit the farm.If you are thinking about purchasing from these guys, I would look around at some of the other local farms first, or at least keep it in the back of your mind. If the price and quality of service makes you a bit uncomfortable, know that there are other options. We have quite a bit of farms here on the island. But, you might have to dig around on the internet to find some of them, as some the farms are small. There are even other options on Sound Avenue, such as Garden of Eve and Ty Llwyd. Also, keep in mind some farmers can not afford the Organic seal. It's expensive, and there are land requirements that take time, but they follow organic practices. Don't discredit those farms, keep them as an option as well. Many farms (local and non-local) have become MORE affordable as their business grew, not more expensive. I've lived and worked on an organic farm as a manager when I lived out of state, and we became more affordable when we grew, not more expensive.

I was just at this farm about two weeks ago. I mostly bought alliums, all of which were dried out or sprouting. I spent nearly $45 on alliums alone and I ended having to throw nearly all of it out. Maybe your produce is mediocre when it's still fresh but at least try to preserve/refrigerate what doesn't sell instead of keeping it in baskets for months in what's probably a 70 degree room. I could literally see quarter inch spacing between the layers of the red onions. This is what a halved onion looks like when I leave it next to my cats litter box (to soak up smells) looks like after a week. Bogus produce.

Unfortunately after I posted my review the venue response was disturbing ... Unfortunately this reemphasizes the condescending treatment of us as customers. I believe when there's a conflict you have an opportunity to gain your customer back and hit the reset button....but clearly as you will see from the exchange there was not even an apology or any graciousness, rather there were negative accussations and assumptions along with quite a few lies about other customers which was exaggerated to support her behavior. The condescending service pattern here continues and there is nothing else to say because the proof is in the response!Anyone who values a good farm /shopping experience will not want to be treated like this! Especially for the very expensive price point! There are other local farmers that smile and appreciate your business while still participating in Covid 19 preventive strategies.Clearly this response was influenced by Allie the belligerent employee we encountered before entering... who screamed at my friend because she parked her car a little bit crookedly and it just went downhill from there! Both of us are originally from New York but we had New Jersey plates on each car and it seems she singled us out because of that- which is disturbing and created quite an atmosphere of animosity. A few days later we're still shaken from this experience. So if Mr Lee(s) can not get involved and manage this properly so be it.Allie's awful customer interaction style in challenging times is not the way to go! Rather being personable and welcoming with a smile and respectful is always the better route. I'm sure Allie believes she's in charge by writing or influencing this response. Again this response clearly demonstrates the lack of customer service orientation by the cavalier and accusatory tone and again not a note of apology for how awful she was to folks who were looking to come and support Sang Lee farm (I was an AVID regular) armed with proper PPP gear.Brief stay?Lol once again the ATTITUDE comes thru- you know nothing about what you speak of as I come out at least 10 times a year so it's more than a brief stay. I think your comments are ludicrous. Shameful!Never again!I have been coming here for over 5 years and stay at a very wonderful bed and breakfast thru the 4 seasons. I came by on a Wednesday off season and we were horrified that Allie was very rude, disrespectful and ungracious to both myself and my friend. I told the folks I stay with and other businesses I know in Mattituck about the horrible experience. I would say that your employee Allie needs a lot of retraining or perhaps she is not the right person for the job to meet and greet potential customers as they're walking up to your expensive venue! I am all for Strict Covid safety/precautionary rules but the delivery was disgraceful. Never ever again going to your farm!

Everything was very pricey but if shopping in that area, price isnt yout concern. Everything is organic just expect triple price compared to Trader Joe's. We walked in a looked at a $15 bag of organic lettuce and walked out. If your out on the island, go to Citerellas, worth the experience

Very disappointed by this place!!! I stopped at this place with my family because I saw online that they have herbs that I wanted to buy so I walked in The store and the rest of my family was waiting for me At the Benches that they have.A lady walked up to them and asked for my family to go wait in the car..I don’t understand why she was so rude about them waiting for me 300 feet away from the store at a opened Area!!!After Hearing her talking to them like that I decided not to buy anything...Won’t be coming back..

Organic produce at its finest! Only complaint is occasionally grumpy staff, but farming is hard work so I accept it as part of the experience.
