This company is a true blessing. We had so many feelings about how our dogs would do flying across the country but these guys took care of everything. They covered everything from the scheduling, paperwork, sky kennels, the final vet vists, just incredible!! The peace of mind from start to finish, we honestly couldn't have done it without them. It's rare to meet honest people in this business and I wish I found Animals Away sooner. They are experts at what they do and will not mislead you or pass you around like the airlines and booking agents did with me. Despite the time constraint, Susan, Eddie, and their team did everything they can to make sure Oscar made it to London with me. I would 100% seek out their services again.

This company went over and beyond my expectation. Me and my family had an emergency and needed to move our pets over sees within a 2 week time window and they were able to make it happen with such minimum notice. Susan helps up with the process all they way through and our three pets made if safely to their destination. Definitely would you them again in the future!!

Animals away was a godsend! I researched a ton of options, air and ground transportation. I emailed 8 ground transport companies.... they were either outrageously expensive or seemed sketchy. I emailed animals away and they were prompt in their response and explaination of how everything worked. Susan and Alyssa took care of us. We were give a 2 day time frame of when our pup would be picked up. And our driver Dan, was simply awesome. He gave us daily updated and sent pics along the way. 4 days later we had our boy in his forever home. Can't thank you enough for coordinating everything and getting our big furry love here. Cross country trips can be very hard on animals, but our boy was delivered perfectly and not stressed out. Thank you!!!

Absolutely fantastic service! Alyssa and Sue are absolute professionals and were super patient with me and my ever changing schedule with moving from Germany to the US. I reached out to Animals Away to pick up my dog from North Carolina and deliver her to me in Utah. They responded very quickly providing a quote for driving the distance and their communication was excellent. The driver was providing updates frequently on where they were while in route to Utah. Very happy with the service they provided. 5/5 recommend to anyone needing a pet transported across the country.

What an amazing service and team! We used Animals Away to move our two (very high maintenance) dogs from the Bay Area to Ireland. We primarily worked with Alyssa, whom I cannot say enough good things about. She is incredibly prompt, and provides information proactively and when coordinating with others, provides you with all the requested information the moment she receives it. She also ran through several scenarios with me as we weren't sure at first what region/airport we were to fly out from, not to mention our dates were a bit ambiguous. Alyssa was patient and understanding. I felt incredibly comfortable working with this team from the onset. When it came time for our dogs to be picked up, Tracie coordinated while Michael picked up. Tracie was incredibly kind and helpful, and Michael instantly made me feel comfortable handing our dogs over. He even was ready with anything they could need, with their names written on their crates, ice water, and a fuzzy bed for our super anxious girl. Tracie sent us pictures with her and Michael with them at the vets and at the airport. Then when they arrived, Dean had them over to us at our home in Ireland within a couple hours. Flawless team! Everyone is genuinely caring. I did not worry for a moment. Alyssa made sure that before my dogs were picked up, I had an itinerary with everyone's contact information, however that proved to be unnecessary since Tracie, Michael, and Dean were so proactive with their communication. I really cannot say enough about how excellent Susan and her team are. I reached out (very last minute) for help with moving my dog to Sweden after approximately a dozen other pet shippers wouldn't help me. She walked me through the whole process, answered every question I had, organized transport to my new home, and took care of everything from top to bottom. Everybody involved in the process was a top-notch professional and, despite the complex customs process in my new country, they brought my dog to me quickly and safely.

Animals Away was a great group for our dog. We used them two years ago to fly to the UK in the middle of the pandemic. And again, we used them coming back to the US. They were very attentive and responsive to our questions. We had a massive curveball thrown at us right at the very end - there was a heat embargo and no pet travel out of Heathrow. They handled just beautifully. I highly recommend.

I moved from Orlando, Florida to Alexandria, Virginia and I was not driving for my move. I took the Amtrak auto train so I knew I needed to find a company who could transport my two cats. I requested quotes from quite a few companies and Animal Away was one of the lowest quotes from “legitimate” pet transportation companies. There are a few sites out there that I wasn’t sure about. This was my first time using such a company so I wasn’t sure of the process. All in all everything worked out well. My cats stayed in boarding for a couple of days before they were transported. The company doesn’t transport on weekends. The cats were transported individually in large crates. Luckily I could fit the crates in my car and I have a large sedan. They appeared well taken care of during the transport which was with United Airlines. The only thing I would have like to have had a more itemized receipt of the total costs. All in all I would recommend the company but be prepared for the expense (over $2K) to transport two cats plus 4-5 days in boarding before transport. I had to provide food for them as well. I also didn’t get to keep my soft carriers which I used to take my cats to meet the transporter. Supposedly the airlines don’t allow them, which I didn’t know nor was told. It’s fine they’re replaceable my cats aren’t.

Susan is absolutely the best. We shipped Anzio, a 130 pound 3 year old Rottweiler to Frankfort, Germany to met up with his owners (Nick and Emily). Nick is an Airman recently assigned to Ramstein and Emily is my daughter. The kids researched all the shipping options and decided to use Animalsaway. I didn't question their decision, and I did as they requested. Susan and I worked out details and Anzio made it safe and sound. Again, Susan many thanks. We got two happy kids and a happy Rottweiler. Was great, until 6 years later...I had Animals Away transport my cat from Houston to San Juan Puerto Rico. All of the transport when smooth in 2014 and everything was fine. However in 2019 I received a notice from a collection agency trying to collect on behalf of Animals Away. I contacted them regarding this issue and they told me I had no outstanding balance and they had no relationship with OMEGA RMS collections. Yesterday, Feb. 2020, I received an adverse action on my credit report from OMEGA RMS citing a collection on behalf of Animals Away. I contacted Animals Away again, including screenshots of my credit report. They told me that it wasn't their problem, and that I needed to talk to their financing company. I asked what company that was and they said they couldn't tell me. They then insinuated that I should have records from 2014 regarding this transaction (while Animals Away apparently does not...) and also implied that I DO owe them money by virtue of the fact I was willing to settle the paltry $600 we are quarreling about. Despite telling me I owe them no money, Animals Away has been extremely difficult to deal with regarding this issue and also extremely unprofessional. Do not deal with them, they don't keep records, they use an AOL email address (which is another sign of a tiny tiny business) and they won't respond to my requests for them to contact the collections company and tell them to stop.

Susan and her team are absolutely incredible on so many levels!! They are professional, experienced, reliable, caring, and extremely educated on the international pet transport process which requires many steps that cannot be overlooked. Sadly, not all international pet transport services are reliable and honest so please be careful with your decision. I can confidently say Animals Away is a safe service to use and will get the job done as promised. Unfortunately, my husband and I had an awful experience with the first international pet service (Blue Collar) that we signed up for. When we found Susan at Animals Away, we had wished we had used her service from the start. Susan quickly took over and cleaned up the awful mess that Blue Collar had made. My 11-pound Malti-poo dog Mogley was transported door to door from The Villages, Florida to London, England. He arrived safe and sound and we could not be happier with the service that Animals Away provided us. Their team is absolutely stellar!! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions about our experience of moving a Mogley from the US to the UK. Please choose Animals Away when moving your pet! I promise you won’t regret it.

Just book them, you'll be happy you did. I was so nervous to send my 2 year old *PUG* on a transatlantic trip NYC-UK. I also got a bit nervous reading a negative review on this company that had only been SO AMAZING in communication thus far. I cannot recommend them enough. If you need to ship your pet, do yourself a favor and just work with ANIMALS AWAY. I spoke first with Sue and she called me, we spoke for a long time just covering what the process would be like. Then I emailed with Alyssa and the communication was just effortless and as constant as I needed it to be. They took SUCH good care of my Lousito. They picked him up a day before because of a storm and the next day, he was checked in for his flight. I was able to track Lou's route from Frankfurt to Calais, to Dover and then right to my doorstep. I cried when I saw Lousito but I was equally moved at how well they all took care of Lou, how they all communicated with me at all hours and even weekends. I am glad I voiced my concerns of the neg review because Alyssa was able to soothe any concerns and I am now holding Lousito as he peacefully sleeps in my arms in London. Thank you for doing an outstanding work, Animals Away. They're a small company and they will treat your pet like family. I understand if you're concerned about sending your baby, but I swear they did an amazing job.
