I don't understand the reviews. This CVS is always clean, well maintained, and the staff members doing the stocking or running the counters always greet me when I come in and walk out. And when the self checkout register doesn't work, someone always comes to my aide right in time.The only thing I would change about this place is fixing the understaffing of the associates on Saturdays and Sundays. Sundays gets super packed and busy, and 1 person on the register doesn't make any sense. Especially when the self checkout machines have the tendency of freezing, or having issues with coupons. Take that AI!!! Human service is optimal.

Works CVS I been too most of the people that work there are really rude and have not sense of customer service. There a maybe 2-3 employees that really care and are very nice to interact too. The pharmacy department was behind 3 hours on my prescription. This the last time I’m picking a prescription here and will use his store as the very last resort !!! Maybe .

Just when i think they cant get worse, they do. They seemed very disorganized and backed up. Everyone going in has to wait another 20 mins after waiting in line for the person to find the prescription. All prescriptions were in big bins they had to look through each one to find prescriptions. Not in the normal organized space they usrd to use. thse were just bins with everyones precriptions dumped in. The girls spent twenty mins to route through all the bins. Crazy

CVS has the worst and rudest pharmacist I have ever dealt with. I called because I had a quick question regarding my prescription that the automated machine couldn’t answer. After holding on for over 30 minutes, Jaqueline answered the phone, did not answer my question, blew me off & rudely hung up on me. I gave them 1 star because I had to.

I am posting this to support those who wrote bad reviews so that corporate CVS can take note that these reviews really mean something. I needed to go to a CVS, but after reading the posts, I went to ShopRite across the street and encourage others to do the same.

Worst pharmacy is the United States. The pharmacy is swamped, the poor staff look like zombies. The outside is in poor shape. I’ve seen needles In the parking lot, trash all over. Corporate needs to do better.

Nothing but problems here. ALWAYS a line at the pharmacy, no matter the time of day. So many people behind the counter but only one serving. Drive thru often closed. Charged for medications I shouldn’t have been. Its really the worst. Will finally change to another pharmacy.

Horrific pharmacy. My Mom had a 3 month refill processing during week for blood thinner. 1 pill left and would be ready noon Friday. All of a sudden Friday at 1pm they are scrambling as “shortage” calling cardiologist for alternate.I called ShopRite across street and they had medication in stock. They couldn’t reach CVS to transfer all day. I called also. On hold for hour and disconnected.NEVER had that “experience” with my CVS.

It is a wonder how this place even remains open! The location should be worthy of so much more!! The pharmacy's customer service is atrocious just as every other review states. The pharmacy "manager", Sara Park, should be reprimanded at the very least for her unprofessionalism and rudeness...fired, in my opinion. I did not even ask to speak to a manager but the imbecile who I was speaking to handed the phone to her. She then had the nerve to speak over me and repeat the same phrase over and over again before telling me she had a crowd of people in front of her. I reminded her it was her choice to get on the phone to speak to me, not that I needed to waste my time and breath on yet dealing with another incompetent fool. The reason for my call was that I received a text message stating that my prescription was ready nonetheless! Meanwhile, they had no idea what I was talking about, or where it was! Imagine!! I have every confidence that my physician's office correctly submitted the prescription to this location, hence the text I received stating it was ready for pickup with the amount to be paid! I have been a customer of CVS for years at different locations, and I have always had excellent experiences. This incident will be reported to corporate and possibly further, since it is very concerning. Please be aware that if you receive a text notification that your prescription is ready, it will be non-existent! Absurd!!! If the pharmacy "manager" grabs the phone because she feels like indulging in antagonising you for her amusement...hang up!!!

I was thinking of all the points I could make as to how cvs in pearl river is essentially a joke but it would be a really long message. Sara Park is extremely condescending, patronizing and she even boldly spoke about me to a pharmacy tech. HIPPA VIOLATION?! They never have anyone's meds in stock, they act like you're bothering them when you're just trying to acquire meds and they're supposed to search other locations that may have it. But nope not pearl river! Sara Park needs to be fired. She thinks she's cute talking back at you like you're just another number but she's a straight up embarrassment to cvs.u with a voice

The pharmacy staff is excellent. I think they are probably understaffed and overworked, but they have never made an error with our medications and they always explain all we need to know. They also do a good job with vaccines. I just got my flu shot last week and getting my booster today. Thank you to the pharmacy for being a constant and consistent source of assistance.

If you want horrible customer experience this is the right place for you 😂🇺🇸 Went in to do some shopping and ask staff about inventory and lady said she ain’t doing my job when I asked about inventory smh couldn’t answer a question and inventory on shelf’s not stocked I wouldn’t leave a review if I had a bad customer experience but yeah maybe this cvs needs to do their job and stock their shelf’s

Worst CVS I’ve ever been to. If I could leave all the stars empty I would. I’ll start with the retail part and save the best or rather worst for last (the pharmacy.) This store does not even deserve the one star I was forced to submit so I could review. This CVS use to be pretty decent and had what I needed, but now the shelves are pretty barren and they rarely stock them for the next day or upcoming weeks. The tags on the shelves for the items NEVER show deals, discounts, or rewards. You really have to do your research prior to shopping. It’s not like the store is enormous or has a ton of traffic that putting up indicators for sales and price changes is some overwhelming task. Most if not all employees are hanging around to nada.What does it matter since the computers are always down and you can’t use your coupons or even extracare card. No one asks if you need help, or try and work with you to get your coupons processed The store is overpriced and going down hill fast. Now DO NOT and I mean DO NOT use this pharmacy for anything. No matter how long I’ve been a client they treat me like an obnoxious stranger. My prescriptions are never ready and even if it’s the proper day you must call and wait the 20 minutes to get someone to answer to let them know you’re on your way when my same monthly meds should be either in process or ready. Not based on my actions. My doctor sent over the prescription that means you fill it. They’re rules on refills also change based on the pharmacy tech on hand but don’t expect them to fill anything early or even on time really. They’re disorganized, overwhelmed and even when they have extra hands they still suck. I am def going to switch pharmacies and hopefully this location closes. The one right over the border in Park Ridge, New Jersey CVS is a dream compared to the Pearl River CVS. I’m honestly surprised corporate has let CVS Pearl River become such a dump and with terrible employees.

This location is adequately staffed again and the drive thru is flawless. Pharmacy to OTC medication is never a problem. This location is a favorite. Drive thru is something I appreciate now with a toddler.

I wish there was an option to give zero stars. If you want to waste INSANE amounts of time just to get to the front of the pharmacy line just to be told that your prescription is not even filled yet, then this place is for you! Drive thru? Nah, let's make everyone come inside and stand on a massive line. Longer hours to deal with the issue? No! We now close earlier at 8pm! Thanks CVS for being literally the WORST part of my day. I DREAD needing a prescription filled now. If only my insurance allowed me to use any other pharmacy, I'd be there.Hmmm, gives me an idea, perhaps driving to Canada to pay full price would be QUICKER than dealing with this.

This location needs to do better. It was my first early morning trip to pick up meds for my sick husband. First I’m ignored by the cashier, then another employee (Sy?) interjects with all the reasons why I need to use the self-checkout and not the cashier. When did stocking shelves become more important than customer service? The cashier understood my trepidations, but Sy did not. She was pretty rude. I won’t ever return to this store. Do better, CVS.

The most rudest people work here. Earlier today this women refused to check if a coupon could work, I believe her name is Robin. She didn’t bother to check if it scanned and told my mother, “next time don’t come and purchase with me”. This women has so much entitlement and kept making the rudest side comments. Also she walked away from the cashier twice because she didn’t want to help or understand. A grown women acting like a child. She also claimed that she has worked at CVS for 20 years. The fact that CVS has these kind of employees for such a long time is very sad to witness. Don’t purchase from this CVS, the one at New City has a much nicer staff.

When I went in looking for oral syringes, instead of trying to help the female pharmacist wanted to argue about whether any CVS had ever carried them for sale. As I walked away I could hear the women at the counter laughing about it. Last time I'll waste a minute at a CVS, whatever you need skip this place and go to Walgreens in Spring Valley where you'll get treated with respect

Rude staff, the pharmacist is suppose to be the professional. I watched her today as she made faces about refilling a prescription I was unable to pick up because I was away. She made faces and rolled her eyes at the cashier as she asked if I was willing to wait for it to be filled. So Unprofessional! CVS you need to retrain your staff. They lack compassion and simple courtesy. I have watched a great store literally become one of the worst chains that exist .

Fine for basic needs. I do not use CVS pharmacies since they included a pill in my wife’s prescription that did not belong there. This CVS always has an overflowing garbage can outside the door. Totally gross and easily fixed, but no one is on top of it.

Horrible service, I called multiple times just to be on hold for OVER ten minutes. I also work at a Cvs pharmacy and I never let the phone ring for that long regardless of how busy we are. I would at least acknowledge the customer… also I understand that there’s long lines at the drive thru but we have been sitting here for the past hour waiting in line for our pcr test, which should not take that long.

Worst pharmacy service ever. Repeatedly takes MULTIPLE phone calls to get an RX filled even if it is a monthly recurring RX. I have to call to make sure they receive it. Sometimes it magically shows up or disappears in their system. Then I have to call to see if they filled it, usually out of stock, and then they lie and tell you it will be ready Friday, then Monday, then it's a holiday is the excuse. There is ALWAYS an excuse. And then after weeks or days of promises they then will tell you it isn't covered by isruancecand they dont know what will be covered so you can call your insurance yourself.They will tell you they contacted your doctor to help get a new RX (even though they dont know what will be covered?)usually by some auto system where message is never recieved.I used a private local pharmacy for about a year and NEVER HAD THE SAME ISSUES! Came back to CVS for 2 months after that pharmacy changed hands, never again!! I have spent over 2 hours on the phone in 2 months and about an hour total in pharmacy just to get my recurring monthly RX filled, sort of.And to add to it, RXs I dont want get autofilled without my consent!! Last week I asked them to remove me from this option I never asked to be included in, they said they did. Today she "removed" me again.I so not blame the staff, the CVS system is the problem. This pharmacy is based on making money and never based on patient care. Save yourself the high blood pressure and go someplace they care about patients needs.

Every time I go to the pharmacy there's someone new working. It's like no one can stand working there. One time I got someone else's prescription. I was more upset that I paid for "Donahue's" prescription when I wasn't supposed to have a copay. I asked the girl why I had a copay and she told me to contact my insurance company? It was the wrong prescription! Expect to be at the pharmacy to pick up prescription for at least a half hour, if they don't tell you to come back. Longer with drive thru. The four self-checkout machines are always broken, I'm talking months now. I don't know why they don't fix them. Only one cashier which causes long lines. I never shop at this CVS (Montvale is better) but continue to go to the pharmacy because it's 24/7. But let me tell you, this place is a disaster.

I don't know too much about the pharmacy part of this CVS but I've heard neighborhood pharmacy across King Kone is a lot better and that's where my family gets their meds. But ever since dollar general got torn down it's a decent alternative if you need basic things.

The service at the pharmacy SUCKS. They are rude on the phone, it takes forever to get through to them, and they lied to me. When they said they can now fill 90 day Rx’s - they neglected to tell me that it does NOT include controlled substances- which F’d up my medicine amount. Don’t go here.

THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE!! I have tried calling for FOUR days about a prescription and have yet to reach someone. It should be illegal to not be able to get your medication only because they won’t answer the phone. I even showed up to the drive through and the man (who is useless) when asked about why my prescription hadn’t been filled for days simply said “I don’t know” This neglect should be illegal. I am disabled and cannot wait in the long lines inside the store right now.
