Good hearted lady when I walked in she was kinda helpful until I wanted more info on a particular fish. She kinda comes off as she fell in love with animals that she doesn’t wanna sell them. Fish was a little pricey but that didn’t matter as she insisted telling me when I just wanted to see fish and to see if it was a male or female Which she did not know. But I would go back.

The owner was polite and helpful. She promptly gathered the four dozen superworms and four dozen waxworms. There wasn't frozen mice available. At checkout, I was astonished at the $42 price. This's nearly three times the price of the same product at the Lagrange pet store that we usually shop.

I have a 180 Gal aquarium set up with some fish over 20 years old.It's been over 10 years since I added fish to my tank. The Aquariums in this pet store are very clean, fish look healthy and talking to the owner I can tell she has years of experience. I just purchased 7 new fish to my tank and they doing well.

As seen in numerous negative reviews here, the owner is not just misguided and erroneous, she is the walking example of the so-called Dunning-Kruger Effect. In the Dunning-Kruger effect, the less someone knows about a topic, the more they are likely to have strong opinions about that. This means that if you are arguing a point with someone that has beliefs that are not rooted in facts, that person will stick to their opinion even when presented with evidence to the contrary. I have a love bird that recently lost its mate and I was looking for a female adult. She had one in the store that recently lost her mate. It would be the perfect pairing. This could be a win-win for all, making two lonely birds happy. I have owned birds for many, many decades and know my way with them. There is a process to introduce birds to a new mate. The pet store owner refused to make the sale for two absurd and patently false suppositions: 1. She stated that she will only sell the female with a mate, and for that she would bring in a new bird. 2. She also stated that the bird was socialized with parakeets in a neighboring cage. Those reasons are ridiculous. First, there are many reason why it is best to mate an adult with an adult. Secondly, if she established a new pair and then sells them, they will still be separated from the parakeets. I am sure her intentions are good, but her decision making is severely flawed. She refused to sell me the bird. Now there are two lonely birds of the same color, the same age, with every success condition in place and she holds on to her false beliefs. It does not make sense and now it's lose-lose instead of win-win. If she brings in a much younger male, there is a high chance that the older female will die first, leaving the new male in the same widower situation. She was adamant. I can honestly say that when I left I had the impression that the lady had more than one deficit. Yet, she spoke so assuredly and with absolutism that it was flabbergasting. She lost me as a potential customer as I will never set foot in her store again.

Today Sunday 11,2021. My family and I had a horrible experience with the older women with short white hair that workers at This pet shop. while talking about the Guinea pigs price and asking if she would lower it, she started to raise her voice and yell out to my father telling him that he was harassing her, after we ask how we were harassing her she started yelling get out and threaten to call the police on us. We didn’t raise our voice nor did we say anything rude or in any harassing way. She kick us out and stated that we should been happy she let us in. This was experience was unbelievable. I hope no one ever gets treat like that again.

Great neighborhood pet store with all the aquarium supplies you'll ever need. There are also birds and rodents on display. The staff loves to help and give advice about pet care. They know the regular customers by name. The prices might not be the lowest, but they don't to try to sell you things you don't need.

Excellent, knowledgeable patient service. Owner knows her fish and was very willing to take the time to work with my very excited 7 year old to pick out fish to start his 30 gallon tank.

Had lots of things, very crammed. I was in there for about a half hour, no assistance. I was looking for a hamster and while looking at the one of the hamsters cage, it looked like the tunnel that brings them to a higher level (play area) hadn't been cleaned. I wasn't greeted while walking in even after I said hello, and wasn't offered any assistance.

Everything there is so expensive. Most of the stuff k cold by somewhere else cheaper than what she has. It was 12.00 for 100 mealworms when I could get 100 mealworms from another shop for 8.00. I feel bad for all the animals there because they are in tanks and cages that are not suitable for that type of pet. Like the beta are in a long tank with glass dividers so all the male bettas are seeing each other all the time stressing them out. The owner gets mad if you are in there too long and not buying anything or going to buy something. I bought a lord gecko there and it was 60 dollars for him. He is doing well but if I bought the gecko somewhere else j could of gotten it for half the price. Everything is expensive and is cheaper in other stores.
