The staff here is absolutely wonderful. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and work hard to keep the store clean and organized. One of the associates even carried the bag of dog food to my car when I was on crutches over the summer. My dog is always happy with the food I bring home and the occasional treat.For the most part, the prices are very reasonable considering the quality you’re getting. It would be nice however if the points on the rewards program added up more quickly.

Great store. A little pricy, but they carry hard to find food (including fresh/frozen) and treats and brands not carried by most other stores so the higher cost makes sense. There's a bath station as well, with towels, shampoo/conditioner, and grooming tools supplied. There are 3 tubs, and even the smaller middle tub fit my 64lb GSD mix, so generously sized. Weekends seem to be busier for the bathing station, so if you have a dog-reactive dog, you may want to try going during the week if you're able.

I came by to get a bed for my dog, pricing is average, the girl working there was so friendly and helpfull, something cool they offer here is self serve pet wash, they provide the shampoo and towels for a great price.Awesome place will totally recommended.

We just left!! Ohhh, my the cleanliness of the dog wash blew my mind. Everything in order aprons provided. Price is excellent.What we were most impressed with was the staff. Jake, who was so very attentive and helpful and the amazing Paige who gave my Kobe tons of TLC because he has very bad anxiety, our new favorite spot for bath time and friend time.🤗

A few weeks ago I walked into the Patterson NY store. I told them I have a 1 year old German Shepherd who needs socializing. I explained that she barks a lot and seems aggressive, something I assumed they would recognize since they worked in a pet store. I was assured of their tolerant policy by the YOUNG workers in the store.The next week I returned with my dog to groom her. Well, as expected barking and so on. These, some of the same people, started to give me a lecture about her excessive barking. ONLY 1 young man acted normal and let her get close to him when ready. She was on a leash and no harm to anyone. As they say , the bark was worse than the bite. This staff was so rude with the warnings about her behavior, the socialized dog typical behavior. In fact, one employee who looks like about 17 had the nerve to roll her eyes and attempt to stare me down as she headed on one of her breaks.When I finally started to get her into the bath, the what would appear to be manager, let another dog in to the same area and told me I have to leave. Mind you my dog was NOT reacting. At this point I had enough of this staff and knew whatever I said next wouldn’t be nice. We immediately left the store.My son and I went across the street to Tractor Supply. What a difference! In fact, she started to act up with a patron and and he said ‘Still a pup?’ The employees were amazing and we walked around for 30 minutes. I plan to return to continue the process of socializing my dog.Just imagine a Pet Store that said the dog is aggressive and across the street recognizing the socialization she needs.Would’t recommend the Choice Pet in Patterson because if they couldn’t recognize my unsocialized dog then whatever advice they give you is meaningless because they know absolutely nothing about pets.Kudos to Tractor Supply!!

I love Choice Pet, and this new location is super big and always super organized and clean. Everyone is very nice and helpful, and the store manager helped me pick out some new cat food types to try for my kitten with tummy issues. Our litter box is no longer a nightmare!

I came to get some of the cookies for dogs the store offers and asked about the flavors.The employee answered from the register station further from the cookie display shelves, said they have some different flavors. She never bothered to come to me to tell me more about the cookie kinds and flavors.Since I am not familiar with the cookies I was hoping to get more information.The other person behind the register station also didn’t ask if I would get more help.So I just left without getting anything.It was bad customer service and they will never see me again.

Can't wait to start using the grooming station, they supply everything you need. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and you can get all you pet supplies here. And what they don't have, they can order.

As a long time pet owner , it’s always nice to find pet stores that are not only well stocked but also have friendly and approachable staff . Highly recommend this store if you’re in the area/need to re stock on goodies for your furry friends!
