My family loves this place it has everything we need for our toy poddle. He went to get his first haircut on Sunday, and it was great. His stylist was Sam she was great! She greeted us and helped us check in. After that, she took care of him and made him look sharp. Thank you, petco, and your great staff.

Five starts or Petco's Vet Clinic. I brought two dogs to the clinic. Luna, the Vet tech was incredibly polite, helpful, and courteous. I was so pleased with her knowledge, her generous guidance, and her professionalism. Dr. Kramer was gentle with my dogs, very helpful, and courteous. The clinic is also very affordable and late in the evening so if you work late, you can get a late evening appointment like 7:30 p.m. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience and I would use the services of this clinic again. In short, if you just adopted a dog or cat or just got a puppy or kitten, get their shots here, it's much more affordable than a regular vet clinic. Later, you should find a permanent vet for your pet because these are only monthly clinics. For those in Suffolk County, Long Island, Dr. Adams at Sachem Animal Hospital is excellent and he doesn't try to jack up your bill like some vets do. Ask about pricing before you go to any animal hospital or vet unless its an emergency.

The nice guy who is my cashier was excellent. Very friendly, and also kind enough to explain what I needed to do to get my dog’s new tag engraved. Not that it was hard, but was still a nice touch

I’m giving this place a horrible review just simply because I’ve been going to Petco since May 2019 and they won’t allow me to add appointments on my app. I called the grooming services and no one picks up as usual. I called customer service and they told me the only person that can disable me from adding appointments to my app is the grooming services from this location. That being said you lost a customer. The irony to everything is that I’m supposed to get a free grooming services how conveniently. Don’t waste your time and go to another grooming location.

Took my dog to get his nails trimmed, they said they need his vaccination records ? Okay fine make an appointment with them the week after , paid 100 dollars for rabies vaccination , took the paper work over the get his nails trimmed now they said it needs to wait 24 hours . It is just nails !! . 3 visits , go back and forward . Playing games .. I took the paperwork back and not going back there ever again . Wasted all the time and money. Just do the nails !!

The Vetco services they have for your pets are amazing. It is so affordable, everyone is very nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them. I brought my 4 month old goldendoole, Beyonce. They were so sweet and patient with her. She was extremely nervous because it was 1st time shots. Go there, you won't be disappointed!!!!

Dr Caufield was extremely informative and caring. She went out of her way to accommodate me with scheduling my dog on a very busy day. She did a comprehensive examination and was accurate in her assessment.

Had a miserable experience in my neighborhood petco store this evening 401 sunrise highway patchogue, ny. Not the first time experienced nasty employees but first time where employee was just sooooo Incredibly nasty she was miserable was taking it out on everyone. It's my go to place convenient and the ppl on the floor are sometimes helpful. We'll I walked in today Thursday, 4/4 at 5:30pm after a long day at work to buy my pups usual stuff (food snacks aren't cheap) always spend over $100 there and I want to take advantage of the petco points to get dollars off. I go to the register to pay and there is this irate, nasty, abrupt, short attitude cashier named Christina passing herself off as a store manager. I have been helped by her before she's sooooo nasty, I usually deal with it, walk on egg shells, pay no mind. Well tonight she was sooo nasty it was really bad. I paid for my stuff and she told me I was entitled to two things bc I asked 1st $5 off and then doesn't tell me about 2nd item my free bag of dogfood. I asked her to please repeat herself she got so mad and told me I get a bag of dog food free after 7th purchase. I asked her right out oh the usual bag I buy? She said yes. I was excited and told her I will go get the bag n stop to show her the bag to be considerate before I leave the store (didn't want anyone to think I was stealing it). Prior to this I was going to keep my paid stuff in a bag at register and She said very nasty you cant keep that here I have to help other customers don't leave that there. I said ok no problem. I go get the free bag of dog food come back show it to her and she says once again really nasty I can't help you I have other customers that I'm helping you have to wait get online. I said but I'm just showing you my free bag I was just here paying for all this stuff. I told you I was coming back. Then she proceeded to say I don't know if that's the bag I have to look it up. But I'm not doing that now I'm helping other customers you're not the only customer here. There was really long line and intended to wait anyway. I told her again I'm just showing you my free bag why can't I just leave. Then she yelled at me again to wait online and I said how can you talk to me like that? I'm a paying customer. I told you I was coming by to show you the free bag then leave. If that's not the way it's done you should have told me so. How dare you speak to me like that who do you think you are?! She said get out or I'm calling the cops. I said go ahead call cops we will hash it out. She calls the cops and tells them there is a woman being verbally abusive to her yelling and screaming at her to come quick!! I'm like wow so not only is she nasty but a liar too. I waited patiently online I get to the male cashier he says I'm not helping you, you have to deal with her. I waited quietly 40 mins for cops to come. She grabs the bag of dog food out of my hands at register and I said that's my free bag that im taking with me. Then says your not getting it and if you take it I will accuse you of stealing it!!!!!! As She is gossiping being super nice to all the customers the way she should have been in first place I'm still at register being quiet waiting for cops to come (Look at at the store video surveillance) Cops show up she tells them I was screaming yelling being abusive and she refused to help me bc of my behavior and she wants me out of store now. I told them that's not how things happened. They told me go to another petco I have to leave. No support at all from cops. (Store manager look at the video surveillance) see who was behaving poorly. I'm appalled at the customer service. I spend hundreds of dollars there to be treated so poorly. I contacted Customer Service immediately when i got home I'm now waiting for a response. Police report was filled out. I expect a response to this. Doesn't petco value their customers??I felt very discriminated against. Horrible experience at petco 401 sunrise highway patchogue. Be aware.

This is the only place that I will go to and you also are one of the very few that carries the food that I need for my dog. It's always in stock and it's always available. And it's much appreciated. I love Petco. Isn't that where the pets go!! Lol

Great selection of cat and dog food, i didnt see much for exotics, but that is honestly to be expected. Friendly staff, though they may be understaffed, i didnt really see employees on the floor aside from the cashier. Very helpful guy.

I love coming here to get my cats food and also to look at the kitties up for adoption. Today unfortunately was not a pleasant visit. I think that Petco needs to do a better job at maintaining the area for cats clean. There are only two cats in there and their litter box was SO FULL and smelly it’s disappointing. This should be cleaned daily to avoid cats getting sick and also to not push people away who are looking, interested in adoption or maybe just want to see the kitties. No one is going to enjoy being by them with a very smelly litter box. Please do better for these little guys they deserve the world until they find their forever home.

This place is DA BOMB!!!! Even though they had a rough day and were short staffed they still had smiles and a positive caring attitude! LINDA at the front desk is SUCH A JEM!! She's so kind and friendly! When I messed up the vital care number she apologized and helped me out with it! The doctor SEGL was gentle and kind to me and my puppy and gave clear concise instructions! The other lady doctor Bruonis was also very attentive and kind in handling our care! This is the best petco place and vet place I've been to in a while. Definitely come and tell your friends!! Also very clean!

My visit to Petco was disappointing. Very little selection of most items. Especially the dog toys, they are either Kong or a squeaker. No toys that make animal sounds . Not likely to return unless this improves.

My dog has been getting his nails cut here since he was a puppy. One thing I would highly recommend is asking if they have the buffer tool before booking the appointment because sometimes they don’t but every time they’ve been able to accommodate me.

I maybe interested in adopting a kitten but before I come in I want to know if it's an easy process. A lot of these stores make it hard applications fees well get back to you whenever 😂 that's why a lot of places have a hard time getting people to adopt it's discouraging.

I would give it zero, they are unable to answer even easiest question. Just wanted they tell me if they had something and where it would be located. They carry it on on website, I didn't have the time to wait for a in store pickup. Walked out with nothing. Terrible.

Tried to buy a clown fish for a home aquarium and I was questioned what size tank and how long it was set up for. Then I was advised how many gallon tank I needed for 1 single clown fish. I've owned fish my entire life... I know the answers this little boy was looking for. I own fish older than him. Petco needs to get their animals under control. I'll be buying my fish elsewhere.

I took my dog today for grooming I told the guy that up front how I wanted my dogs hair to be cut and he said to me that their haircuts weren’t professional that if I wanted a perfect cut to take my dog somewhere elseThe employees at grooming are not nice.
