I feel like this place was all over what to do in the Catskills mountains and I’m not really sure why? We went in for coffee a few times and it was good. Otherwise it was just a normal kind of convenience store to me. I did see their menu online for hot food and was very interested to try the French toast bread pudding on the weekend. Well unfortunately the menu online isn’t up to date and they don’t serve that anymore. Super disappointing. I settled for the pancakes with whipped cream and fresh fruit expecting blueberries and strawberries. I got blueberries and apples. Which is fine but apples kind of make my mouth hurt so not so fun. The whipped cream was really watery. The pancakes were freshly made but tasted super gritty and dry. We also got there one morning at 730 one weekday morning and learned that the website is also wrong and that they actually open at 8. Overall, the coffee was good, but everything else was not up to date online and therefore disappointing.

Perfect place to grab lunch/something to eat after a hike or even prior. It is a small general store with a variety of goods to buy. I ordered online which was super easy. They even had the daily specials on the site to order; the honey bee latte, which was superb. It had local honey added into it along with being topped with bee pollen. I ordered the Pine Grove sandwich. Which comes with fresh ciabatta bread. I was on a time crunch so I grabbed my lunch and headed out. I was thoroughly surprised to find they threw in a small side of macaroni salad and a pickle spear! I was so thrilled. Everything was delicious and it was enough to fill me up from hiking and hold me over until dinner. Thank you so much!

Really cute market on your way to (or from) the Kaaterskill Falls trail. Lots of cute souvenirs, crafted items, snacks and treats. They also have a grill inside that serves up breakfast items until 11am and hot and cold sandwiches for lunch. Sandwiches can take a little time to make, just chill out outside while you wait and they'll be so worth it.

This place is awesome for food! Been going for a couple of years now and it always consistent delivers great deli food. Tons of other options too but sandwiches are yummy! Great outdoors seating area. Friendly staff. Stop by if you’re in the Palenville area or Catskills! I recommend this place for sure!

We drove past on our way to hike Kaaterskill Falls and I made a note that I wanted to go afterward. What a perfect post-hike spot, with delicious, generous sandwiches, and cute items for purchase. We had the reuben and a grilled cheese with caramelized onions + bacon and both were phenomenal. We ate outside at one of the picnic tables, in the sun, and afterward popped back in to get hot chocolate and snacks for the road. Very much appreciated the shop's commitment to safe COVID practices. If I'm ever back that way, I will be getting food here again!

This is a cute little market that has local goods and a small menu of meals. We enjoyed the pastrami sandwich which was perfectly cooked and the pastrami nice and tender. It’s definitely picturesque and the service is good.

Great locally-sourced sandwiches - the LaBelle Panino featuresprosciutto, fig spread, goat cheese & arugulaon a ciabatta and is very tasty. It's a very busy spot on a Sunday morning, which is a blessing and a curse. We did wait an extra long time for our five sandwiches, and when we got to the hotel, there were only four (five on the receipt.) My bad for not going through the bag, but we needed to get back in time to check out. Beautiful historic building, and outdoor seating.

Best quick stop for a PB&J after hiking Kaaterskill creek all morning. Quaint general store with good food drink and supplies that isn’t always necessary but fun. A must visit if your in the area.

They've inexplicably moved the sandwich service to a space across the street with no charm. Also makes it impossible to shop for snacks while waiting for your sandwich. Feels like they might be trying to get people to visit their otherwise empty tavern? What a bummer and end of an era. Hope it's only for the winter.

Hands down best breakfast in a 30 mile radius , excited to try a lunch sandwich after a day of riding. Thank you for the great service this morning and absolutely essential breakfast before coming to ride at hunter.Wish I hadn't just got coffee right before at the gas station because their coffee offerings smelt delecious as well. Great find and hope to be back soon

Every time we come up to this part of the Catskills, a pitstop at the Circle W is always an absolute must. This place has some of the best sandwiches around and is a fan favorite after discovering them a few years ago. The ladies working here are always super friendly. You can't go wrong with any one of the egg breakfast sandwiches, but my favorite go to is the Pine Grove. The coffee is always spot on, and their market selection for groceries is excellent as well.

Stopped in to grab a few sandwiches for our day at the lake and I did not expect it to be so busy. Had to wait like 30mins before the order was ready. Overall the staff was pleasant, friendly, and the store has a nice atmosphere. I will have to stop in again to update my experience. Ps. Not much more going on for food in the area and I'm not sure why as the area has a very high traffic flow.

Circle W was the perfect start to our morning. BEC hit the spot, service was friendly and quick. They have a nice little patio to enjoy your meal. Highly recommended if you are on the way up the mountain.

This place is a gem. I’d drive to Palenville just to come here. The breakfast food is out of this world. They source their breads but the grandma makes their lemon bars, brownies, and coffee cake.. in other words, you must eat these.

Great panini. The bread is the key - crispy, not tough, good flavor. Critical foundation for the prosciutto, goat cheese, arugula and fig butter in my sandwich.I was just passing through but my traveling companion recommended this place from many prior visits. For good reason!

During my recent drive through Palenville, I decided to make a pit stop at Circle W Market for lunch. As someone who enjoys a good veggie wrap, I was eager to try theirs out. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the exquisite taste of the wrap. It exceeded my initial expectations by far and left me feeling satisfied and content. The blend of flavors was notable, and every bite was a delight taste. Overall, I had a positive experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and fulfilling meal. Plus, the Mac and pickle side dish was an excellent and flavorful addition. I relished every bite of my meal and would highly recommend anyone passing through the area to stop by and try it out for themselves.

A must stop if you are in the area. The coffee and sandwiches are delicious! They have a breakfast and lunch menu - both have good items. Lunch sandwiches come with a pickle and their macaroni salad, which is the best I’ve ever had.

Highly recommend, BLT and pastrami sandwich were both amazing! There was a bit of a wait after we ordered, so either come prepared to hang out if you visit at lunch time or consider ordering ahead o line.

Absolutely delicious food, reasonable prices and located right in the heart of Palenville.If you're in the area there is no where better to get food, drink and everything else you could need.They have a great Ruben, and the Roast Beef sandwich with a fancy name was killer.I definitely recommend stopping by and treating yourself.I'm now a vegetarian and got the Tempeh Ruben, it was a fantastic sandwich. Still recommend

A local spot for anything needed in the old fashion general store mindset. They have delicious food options whether breakfast or lunch. Indoor tables or outdoor seating and parking. Highly recommended if passing through or staying in the area.

One of the best pastrami Reubens I have ever had. And I have had many in NYC kosher restaurants. They add some cabbage to sweeten it a bit. Really good coffee, and a lovely well stocked gourmet grocery store.

Expensive, but worth it! The Tannery is delicious! Any time we take a trip up the mountain for a hike or a kayak, on the way we hit up this place for sandwiches to go. They have a cute little grocery store too. It’s got a lovely, local vibe.

Very cute mini mart with healthy goodies and local snacks and beverages, and local souvenirs! I always stop by when I’m going to ski at hunter or hike in the area- it’s literally along the way. They sell sandwiches, soups and salads made fresh daily, they’re delicious! Gluten free friendly too. The drinks are yummy and they often have specials.

Sandwiches are delicious! Great job pairing the meat with the right bread with interesting condiment combos. Not skimpy with the meat and the proportions were great. Staff was nice. But not much to the store. Expected a bit more for produce selection but it's most a sandwich shop with a random of selection of high end snacks and other random items. All tastefully done but not functional as a true market.

Such a great place! Food is excellent and there is a great selection of books on local history and even local fiction. Also really nice gifts and souvenirs. Food and groceries are gourmet, high end, but not exclusively limited to that. There's really something for everyone.

Well it's in the name the circle wait. We should of known better. Our sandwiches were 'fine'. My Greek salad while I ordered a large was soo sooo small. It had more than enough toppings to handle an extra fifty cents worth of greens come on its 12 BUCKS! my friend made me get the large I was NAH I'll split the sandwich and have my salad. Thankfully the wiser person was listened to. The wait was an easy 45 minutes I think it was an hour honestly but then again it in the name. All the prices are excessive but then they need to gouge people from the 'city'. My salad was good just small even though I ordered the large it didn't come with anchovies like a normal Greek salad and no bread was included. All the other sandwiches everyone liked but again its the Tannersville tax if it cost X in the city its gonna cost X plus three to ten dollars more here. Fresh air makes things more expensive here. If you think here is expensive for what you get don't go to the lodge for drinks.
