Have been shopping there more lately with all the food price hikes at Wegmans and other grocery stores. Aldi seems to neat them by a couple bucks and is quality stuff and the Staff is polite and helpful.

The Aldi's in painted Post located at 3133 silverback Lane in painted Post New York is a discriminatory business who allowed another customer to verbally accosted me at the register and did not step in over my registered service dog even after I showed the employee and the individual costing me his documentation of being a registered service dog. None of which I am legally required to do by law when it is another customer! This man verbally accosted me my friend and her child over my service dog not once did the employee at the register step in this literally just happened like 10 minutes ago. I would not recommend anybody shop at this store ever again because a person who has the medical need for a service animal should have the same right as everyone else to go into the store and buy a jug of milk without somebody starting an argument with them over something that is none of their business to begin with. Not once did any employees step-in even though they were right there watching the whole thing unfold sitting in their chair behind the register doing absolutely nothing. Aldi's doesn't even have a phone number for the store to speak with the store manager about this incident there's only an 800 number because apparently Aldi's doesn't want to hear how they're violating people's rights under Ada law and allowing other people to violate their rights under ADA law. It is 110 percent straight-up discrimination what they allowed to happen and they took part in it I highly doubt anyone from all these will even reach out to me because then they would have to admit they screwed up. In terms of what I would rate this store for stars I wouldn't give them any because they don't care about the people who spend money at their store all they care about is their numbers and their paycheck at the end of the day. Needless to say I'm contacting an attorney, coalition for disability, Better Business bureau, office of the US attorney general, and fair trade commission because I was denied fair and equal access to goods.

You can find some real deals at Aldi even on name brand products. Most of their brands that I have bought are ok, but some I do avoid (sauces, pasta products, and I've never bought meat there). Produce varies depending on location honestly and the store in Erwin/Painted Post doesn't have the best section. I understand the quarter cart rental, but I still hate it especially now with rarely having change. Store could be cleaner and staff could use customer service skills.

Hard to say anything bad about this establishment.Although they do not have the greatest quantity of items, they do have enough to satisfy the needs of most shoppers, and prices are well below that of most other competitors.Quality of items, in my opinion, is also on par with most local competitors.Staff is generally very friendly and helpful, however, at checkout, the cashier is often far faster than I am at scanning my items especially when only purchasing a few items, and makes me feel a bit rushed when trying to get my items out of the way to make room for the next customer.

Absolutely loved my online ordering experience yesterday. Ashley was awesome at step by step updates of item out of stock and great recommendation of replacement items. Order was ready really quickly and once we got to store wasn't but couple minutes bringing order to vehicle. Definitely recommend and will use again.

The store is clean and typically well stocked. I wish they'd have more imported goods in their limited time section.The only significant problem I've had is with the cart wipes. They're like a roll of moist towelettes and dry out so easily. Many times I've gone here and they're completely out of cart wipes and sanitizer so I have to use my own.Employees are always helpful and willing to answer questions.

This is a great place to shop fresh produce n save $. Also great for both small and large families. They have great weekly deals like 89 cent mangoes or 99 cent grapes. Great for families that like to save $. Also fast in fast out with quick cashiers.

There were 15 people in the checkout line and I assumed I was going to be there for an hour, the cashier had me out the door in 7 mins. They are very good there.

People need to stop relying on name brand items and come here. They don't cover everything but simple items such as snacks, condiments, hot dogs, to name a few are just as good and 20-25% less. It's priced lower as there is very little overhead vs supermarket chains. You'll be surprised how much you'll save especially with Inflation at 8.5%

This chain started out with great, fresh produce and items we came to depend on. As stores multiplied, produce is still good and priced right but is sometimes not the quality it used to be. The bag salad, for instance goes "bad" before the expiration date, even unopened. Other items disappear for months or are inconsistent in quality. Some of this may be covid related; but this started happening before supply issues were such a problem. Still a good value. Just don't count on items always being available. We have had trouble for weeks/months finding staples such as their 45 calorie per slice wheat bread, low fat flavored coffee creamer, unsweetened ice tea, deli roast beef, no sugar added applesauce (that came back but is watered down), etc.

Aldi is a good place to buy food, paper goods, toiletries, and miscellaneous seasonal items if you can accept that the presentation is not like common grocery stores.The quality of food is good, and the brand is trying to steer away from chemicals, corn syrup, unhealthy additives.It's a good option for saving a little of our hard earned money.

Selection is pretty typical for an Aldi. The prices are fair, but if you have particular tastes, preferred brands, or specific diets this place may not be for you. Also, if getting in and out of the place quickly is a concern, this may not be where to stop. It's rare they have more than one checkout lane open, and I've never seen more than two open at the same time.Their pricing on cheese, prosciutto, and other Italian appetizer foods is really good, but it's all pre-packaged.

Can you go wrong at any Aldi's? The only thing I have an issue with is the way they throw away their fresh produce into the TRASH dumpster instead of a PRODUCE dumpster which can be given or sold (imagine that) to farmers to feed their pigs. The selection is nice and the values are always significant so I will continue to shop here and gently push for them to have a more eco friendly approach to how they manage their "off" produce.

Good selection and lower prices on almost everything when comparing to Tops or Save a Lot. Lots of gluten free and organic options too for a good price. Love that they have organic while bean single origin coffee now.

Lost my Chromebook laptop. Aldi painted post. Left it in a cart after putting the cart back and getting the quarter I forgot to grab my laptop from the bottom of the cart. There is no way for me to contact. Trying to find a way back there as I do not live in town. Maybe someone on here knows more..figured I would try!
