Great place for easy dog wash. They give you towels, shampoo, and waterproof apron...plus hose dryers with variable heat settings. Register for rewards, 10th (or 11th?) wash free. Staff is accommodating and do their best to keep everything clean, considering dog fur is flying everywhere. Lots of high-quality pet foods, treats, toys found within.

I love pet valu! My fav pet store ever. So many incentives and rewards. I shopped here for years (different locations over the years) but my most recent trip to the oyster bay location was slightly uncomfortable. The employee who assisted me (not sure of her name but it says Elena on my receipt), seemed very annoyed with me when I asked about my dog food rewards. I feel like she should have calmly explained it to me, but unfortunately I felt as though I was bothering her and I left feeling perturbed and uninformed. Overall I will be back to this location as it is most convenient to where I live, and I don’t hold it against the employee.

PetValu is great. My cat needs special food because of her kidney disease, and I can always depend on PetValu to have options for her. Thank you for carrying such a great selection of food, treats, and toys!

Many brands of grain-free cat and dog food, very good wild bird seed, and friendly staff. I shop here regularly and recommend it.
