I’ve never had a problem with this Dollar General! The service is always nice. It’s a little bit crowded but other then that I’ve always had a decent time while shopping there. I wish the Dollar Generals had a wider selection from store to store so it wasn’t like going to every other Dollar General but that can be looked over. I grew up in Oxford so like seeing the Dollar General instead of the Great American is a little bit heart wrenching.

It's ok, some quality products for a decent price. Other things are dollar garbage. The staff is always friendly and courteous. They are open until 10 pm which is convenient. Also they provide a $5 off coupon on the receipt which is awesome.

Dollar general is great. Sometimes the lines are long, but when they put them one every 6 miles they don't have the employees to cover all the time.They are always well stocked and have constant supply coming in. Appreciate the options of slimfast. That is great. I can get all kinds of nutritional supplements here. Makeup section is top notch too.

Very appreciative staff, always quick with a polite comment, as well as fast and reliable with assistance for customers. Never an item that is not assisted with by an associate. Overall I love this place for its organization, reliability, and centralized location towards middle of town, and village of Oxford. Not another organization I'd want in my hometown area. Highly recommend coming through for a visit and to pickup what you could need: as there is a wide range of options and accessories, as well as accessible shelves and access doors.

prices are comparable some are a little higher than other and some are a little lower. They have great sales!! It's convenient! A lot easier for most living in the oxford area than having to run to Wal-Mart. Store is clean although the racks that they use for stock are very inconvenient when they are sitting all over the store blocking the shelves when people are trying to shop. I understand they need to restock but bring out one at a time not 4 or 5 sometimes more!! It's just inconvenient for shoppers. I also do not feel that there cashier's should be out stocking shelves. I habe day at the cash register for 3 to 4 minutes before waiting for a cashier to come cash me out. They are apologetic and embarrassed for it but its not their fault its their job! Seems the company would realized that is a liability to have that registers as well as the safe unattended. If they are going to have the employees do this they need to change the layout of the stores so that the employee can still see the register at all times... lastly the bathrooms in the store are not clean at all. Very dirty and smelly! They have store product that is damaged dumped on the floor which is free game for anyone to load their pockets or bags with and walk out. Overall I like shopping at the store but there are upper management issues at the district level.... this is NOT the stores fault the are doing what they are told to do.....

Since they are really the only place to get groceries in town, I do wish they had more selection. But I guess how much can a dollar store have? Wishing there was a place in town to get fresh produce every day. At least the farmers market has stuff on Saturdays. I'll give them a 4 since they fall short of local community needs but live up to what a Dollar General is.

My opinion is that the management doesn't seem to care very much for keeping up the appearance of this business. Like every other DG, I've seen products laying haphazardly on the shelves, floor, wherever and even at that, the offerings here seem to be mostly cheapo imports from China. This is just another big generic competing with small businesses in a small town community.

I just love the store and the employees..the manager is ABSOLUTELY fantastic..can't always find what I want but that's to be expected in this pandemic..always a great experience

Great place to shop for just about anything.They have beverages, house hold items cleaning products, toys make up woman,men baby apparels just too much to list.I just enjoy going shopping at Dollar general

I'm looking forward to visiting the newly opened DG in Chenango Forks. The one in Greene is perpetually crowded with merchandise waiting in the aisles for placement on shelves, making it difficult to reach what one needs or to maneuver one's cart.
