Refused to fill a simple prescription without any explanation. They recorded it as filled but kept the pills for themselves. They thought it was riotously funny and mocked me about it. This pharmacy staff is running a criminal enterprise and no amount of complaining to CVS corporate goes anywhere. Been going on for years, they are barely better than terrorists.

They have almost always been wonderful here. Pharmacy can even fast-track prescriptions if you need them sooner which has really come in handy this past month. Courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Thankful to have them in Owego; not all CVS stores are this efficient and professional.

They won't talk to another family member about any meds. But will call family members that aren't authorized about meds. They with optimum online are scamming insurance company's continually trying to refill multiple copies of same prescriptions from different doctors that have all been repeatedly asked to Not be on autofill. They convinced the govt it was better and the insurance companies were told it will save them money to force people to only be able to go to them. But they are using that power to unnecessarily charge insurance for more scripts.Update. Another visit hours say open.Window says pharmacy closed come back at 2pm. I come back after two and here I am. Looking at a window that's closed. Sign says they in it's you to go to another area location.Calling the corporate they just say it's closed and when it understands I want to file a complaint it kicks me off the voice mail automated systemAs of it were that easy. I would be going to another pharmacy entirely if only the insurance company didn't own cvs and only cover scripts through them. Cvs and optimum rx shouldn't ba e e er been allowed to have the power to hurt the clients and not look out for their health what a jokeWait in line for 15 minutes with line hardly moving. Suddenly line of 3 cars starts to move. Oh they CLOSED FOR LUNCH. Perhaps I'll place a huge order. Have them go pull it and walk up to the check out and walk away and tell them I'll be back later as it's sitting on the counter.Store even though remodeled is always trashed. Disorganized and dirty.If cvs wasn't on bed with insurance company s requiring people to use them they would be out of business. Why does the government allow insurance to dictate one pharmacy and it's a pharmacy that owns a online service as well as a medication management company. They ought to be declared a monopoly and shame on the lawmakers that allow this.

HORRIBLE. Cvs pharmacy has gone down hill ever since Jeb Schumacher left this summer. I’ve been a loyal patron for 9+ years and now I am beyond fed up and disgusted with this place. The lady on the phone was so rude about refilling a regular prescription. I get 3 prescriptions every month and there’s always a problem. They never get prescriptions filled on time or send the refill requests to doctors on time. The drive thru is ALWAYS CLOSED. The pharmacy closes at lunch time everyday. Even on the weekends. Are you kidding me? Most people work for a living and only have their lunch break to fill prescriptions. Oh and they close at 6:00pm on a Saturday. They were closed on my lunch break so I couldn’t pick up my prescription and now they’re closed by the time I got out of work so I need to go a whole day without prescriptions. Horrible customer service. Horrible hours. Do better CVS.

The new pharmacy staff lacks professionalism, and customer service skills. Three of them stand there to talk and laugh in the back, while one works the counter. Prescriptions are never ready on time. One of them told my mother to come through the drive thru again in 15 mins because her prescription wasn’t ready, but when she drove back through the drive thru was somehow closed because it was broken. I don’t appreciate the way the spoke to her either. The young man who works there is great, but the rest of them are very immature acting for adult women. I ended up switching pharmacies.

Received a text notice my prescription was ready. I went in the next day and waited in line to get an attitude from one their pharmacist telling me neither was ready and one they didn’t even have. Clearly this was a communication break down on their end but never mind me wasting almost an hour of my time and still no prescription. If you have an alternate pharmacy I’d recommend using them.

This is by far the worse pharmacy I've ever experienced. I get a notice that the prescription is ready, drive there, only to have them tell me it'll be 35-45 minutes. This is for EVERY prescription. That's if I'm lucky enough to get it at all. Half the time it's a 2 day wait because they don't have it - common prescriptions! Go anywhere but here. I'm sorry, I never write bad reviews but I have had not 1 positive experience here.

Decent selection, but too many items that require close inspection, such as colors of mascara or types of magnesium tablets are on the bottom shelves, inches from the floor. Today I had to sit down on the floor to reorganize the bottles and find the type of magnesium I needed: citrate, not glycinate or oxide.

I think there's a new manager or assistant manager there now.I've always had friendly helpful workers help me. One day I got some vitamins and the cashier said it's a bogo so got me another bottle.Last week I was looking for a certain item.. This nice man asked if I needed help. I said no I will look for it. I found the item that was marked a store sale, not in the flier, 50% off and it rang up wrong. I mentioned it to the cashier, and said I would show them where it was. The nice man happened to be there and he said ok.I love going there. They answer questions and friendly.I never been to the pharmacy only once and they were not nice.I'm sure they have much to do with so many medical orders. It's hard to do so many. We all must be kind and patient; customers and workers.I get my meds at my local pharmacy near my home.So I rated a good rate for CVS owego. 👍

Had a female pharmacist there refuse to give me vaccine booster, without hard-copy of my CDC card. I had a pic and am well past 6 months since my 2nd shot. I am a physician and there are no guidelines that patients have to show a hard-copy, let alone even a picture. This is creating barriers to vaccination for no good reason. Very upsetting CVS.

Your average CVS. Their makeup section is sometimes lacking, and the photo printing sometimes comes out super dark. Staff has always been helpful with my questions. But I've never seen it looking unclean or super trashed, so good work, staff!

Seems the biggest concern is covid vaccine for people that are not already ill. To wait hours for a prescription to be filled for a 5 year old with pneumonia is unacceptable.... especially when at 230 in the afternoon the text said it was ready to be picked up. Not the case. At 730 PM it was still not ready and was rushed. Very bbn professional. Well done cvs

Just received my final COVID shot and the staff and nurse (Allison) that administered my shot were outstanding!!! Their job is extremely difficult especially when catering to such a diverse group of people while they attempt to meet everyones personal medical needs! Kudos to Owego CVS!!!

Im shocked by the ENTIRE CVS staff! All the employees, managers including the store manager And pharmacist (everyone) act like your commiting a crime and treat you as such if you return something or dare ask a question, i always get the routine reply of " im not sure". Which i have given up asking "can you please find out"? I have never seen an entire staff that was more immature, rude, unprofessional, and uncaring as this one! They refuse service to me or down right lie to me just to not have to do their job which leaves me wondering why did you apply for a job in customer service if you do not want to deal with customers?! This place is a disgusting disgrace shame on you for representing CVS so poorly.

CVS photo printing service will crop your digital images. Without telling you. Typically they will crop the top portion of the image which will likely chop the tops of everyone's heads in the image making for awkwardly disappointing photo prints.I'd recommend printing services that offer alternatives to cropping. I've used walgreens and they offer an alternative to 4x6 printing that is a little narrower but prints the true digital image without cropping or other modification. Also there are other online printing services with this option.Unfortunately CVS doesn't have this option and will crop your images without any notice. This results in a print of a portion of your image, when you would really like the whole image printed.

ZERO STARS!!! My aging mother was trying to explain to an incredibly inpatient and rude pharmacy tech about her medicine and the person confused her and instead of helping or offering to sort it out accused her of being belligerent etc. Someone like that should not be working with people. They turned a situation where clearly they needed to clear up the situation into accusing her of being in need of a “welfare check”! ELDER ABUSE.
