This is a beautiful family owned winery in the finger lakes area of NY state. The property is well maintained and in a beautiful setting. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The wine tasting was affordable ($5) and enjoyable. They also have a bistro on site with spectacular views of the lake. We also purchased a couple of bottles of wines that we liked during our tastings. Must visit winery on your visit to the finger lakes region.

Nicest staff on the trail. Heather was very very kind, friendly, cheerful, and just an overall joy. Everyone at the bar appreciated her. The chef also came out and explained his dish for the event pairing and was very passionate about it tasting good. Overall 10/10 and the kindness always is appreciated!! Thank you!!

The Thirsty Owl is a beautiful family owned Vinyard in the finger lakes area of NY state.The property is well kept. The wine tasting was affordable and enjoyable,They offer a bistro on site with amazing views of the lake .We bought a couple of bottles of wine to go .I'm definitely coming back to try the bistro next time we are up in the finger lakes area

This place has a great selection of wines. They have a bistro on the premises as well. On this Tuesday afternoon, there were a pretty good number of people here tasting wines. The views here are pretty spectacular.They have some apparel here as well.

I absolutely loved this winery! My favorite wines were at this place! Cute building and beautiful view over the lake. We docked the boat and a UTV shuttled us to the winery! Place was packed! Highly Recommend.

Great place to stop and eat and have some local wine. Lots of different varieties to choose from. Restaurant has outdoor tables that look over the lake. Food is a little pricey but everything we had was tasty

My Wife and I were on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail we stopped at 5 of the Wineries along the trail and Thirsty Owl was by far the Best Stop!! They were Friendly and Inviting and Heather was The Best giving us samples and explaining the Wines and Helping us!! Highly Recommend!!! We left with many different Wines. Will Definitely be Back!!! Thank you!!

The view was amazing. The food was surprisingly good, from a winery. I enjoyed fied fish sandwiches. The winery is pet friendly, both us and our dog had a great time!

We went for Bacon on the lakein. We started at the Thirsty owl. We were greeted with honors and felt very comfortable with the hosts. We went back on the following Monday and joined their wine club. We liked the wines so much. Highly recommend.

Very crowded on a Saturday compared to others, but great outdoor area and grounds. Wine was nice but not spectacular. They have a dock to boat there.

The views of Cayuga Lake are a major selling point. Great location. The food at the bistro was tasty, we had a light fare with the quiche and some fries. The wine here is great. They have an awesome selection of dry and sweet, red or white... Even have a cider, a port and winter wine.

Winery has a great feel to it as one winds down a curvy driveway with the vines in foreground and Cayuga Lake as a backdrop! Gives one the sense they are in the midst of “wine country”. Staff was friendly, unfortunately bistro was not open but it does state it limited hours of operation. We liked the showroom and tasting room and outdoor venues but this was not our wheelhouse for wines. We’re more cab sav kinda folks and they seemed to have more sweets and Rieslings. It’s a good stop nonetheless.

I've done many wine trail events and have never had any problems until.this winery on Saturday. Once we walked in about 2:45 p.m. it was very busy, we where then asked if we minded going upstairs, we said no and went there to do do our tasting and food sample. Once upstairs we encountered a party with about 10 -15 people at one table so went to the remaining table. We saw chairs and some others in the other group had some sitting and standing. As we where there I over heard a person from the winery talking to our server about chairs. That no one was to be sitting, as the other group went to leave an older gentleman who also worked at the winery hurried over and removed their chairs. I went to look out the window as he also whisked mine away, we said we weren't done yet and his reply no one is supposed to be sitting, you wouldn't have a chair downstairs. I then asked what the big deal was, the whole encounter left a bad taste in my mouth as to how we where treated. This is really how you treat customers, we did pay for the event but walked out disgusted. Think you need to work on your manners and customer service. One positive point was our server, a young nice girl.

LIKED: Clean premises, friendly service, beautiful scenery, and ample parking. The tasting was inexpensive at $5 for 5 wines and if you buy wine you will get a $2 refund. Our server knew the wines very well and explained them with comparisons to other wines since this winery makes their own blends.WOULD HAVE LIKED: No comment.

Friends of ours visited your winery and did the tasting. They were very impressed and purchased a mixed case of 12. They shared some with us a few days ago; specifically the 2018 Diamond. My wife and I both instantly fell in love with it. Very smooth, sweet and wonderful taste and after taste. I had to buy some. Just ordered 24 bottles on-line. We will share and share how others can get some too. This was the first wine in a while, that my wife and I both loved at the first sip!!! Not sure how long you will have them before you run out....but I never want to run out...lol...Now I want to taste their other wines from Thirsty Owl...who knows another order to come....! I would love to visit, but we all live in Florida....argh....NY is not on my visit list...but who knows what the future will bring....lol Update: Wine arrived Wow!!! 3 days.....I live in FLORIDA!! Look at that great packaging!! Fantastic.

We had a lovely tasting and lunch at the Bistro. My husband says his blackened Mahi Mahi was OUTSTANDING and the flavors were perfectly balanced. He says he never wants to leave! We are looking out at the beautiful lake with a cooling August breeze and a storm on the horizon. I had the turkey and Canadian bacon waffle panini with sweet potato fries that I’ve never had anything like!!! I would order it again any day of the week! Our compliments to the chef!Our waitress Nicole was full of enthusiastic energy and totally responsive to our every need! We have felt very taken care of on this busy August day, we will definitely be back!!!

Such a nice and relaxing place. Went during the down season so we got a spot immediately. Staff are all amazingly friendly. Our server Bob was absolutely delightful, and very knowledgeable about the wines and the winery. Great selections to choose from, and a great location. One of my favorite wineries on Cayuga Lake.

Drive on! What a waste of time and money! 35$ for THREE pcs of meat on bread really could you spare! Pulled pork sandwich was more bland then the menu. Don't waste the time to wait (1/2 hour -45 minutes) before SANDWICH was served! No drinks at a freaking winery, really people! I don't even want to give them the courtesy of buying a bottle even if it is good. Not worth it drive or wait MANY better wineries around Cayuga.
